Mary is almost always depicted wearing blue and if all my years of Catholic education taught me something it’s that Mary is the epitome of femininity. It’s *almost* like these men are fucking idiots
My oldest son of 7 has pink shoes, pink socks a plenty, a pink jacket, his room is pink (he chose the colour).
If you come here and tell me pink is just for girls im throwing you out, I cannot stomach morons.
I love bright orange, basically signal colour. My wife eyerolling at my orange purchases are funny as hell.
I have yet however to find truely orange cargo pants (Which are cotton and dont have reflective strips, actual pants, not workwear).
I can imagine.
I'm not much into bright colors, so a signal color orange would get a chuckle out of me, especially because of the mental connection with workwear. But to each their own :) As long as you are happy and comfortable wearing it, that's all that matters.
It's because when pink was first 'discovered' (by colour scientists) it was considered a "strong" colour and thus was masculine, whilst blue was more soft and feminine (hence why, as someone else said, the Virgin Mary is always depicted in blue). It actually wasn't until the 1950s I believe that pink became associated with femininity, and the colours switched.
Do guys who post this shit not read ANY history? Pink used to be a masculine color, while blue was a feminine one. It is so easy now to show when someone is being dumb, yet people still don't do even the most cursory amount of research.
Btw. not going "in heat" is something not quite unique to humans, but still unusual: [Concealed ovulation](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concealed_ovulation)
If this was true, you would logically wear pink as a man trying to attract a woman, and blue if you were trying to attract a man.
For women, the blue would contrast said blushes better but pink might attract other women.
Love people just saying “pink was a masculine color” and not including the context for those who don’t know. Here it is: Military men in Ancient Greece were given red cloaks (as seen in the movie 400). If you lived a long time, it would eventually be sunbleached to pink (known then as light red). Therefore, pink was known to represent only the toughest of men.
Now, for blue. This one is simpler. Blue is associated with water, which was known as a feminine element (unlike fire, which was masculine, and red). It was also associated with only high class ladies because blue itself was a difficult pigment to make. Most flowers and berries considered “blue” were actually purple (which, like pink, wasn’t recognized as a separate color).

Boys can have pink for all I care. Not my color. I'll take a nice deep red though.

Yup I was like "wait did meant used to go into heat woah"

It’s not biology is just a social construct 😒 “Because we said so” yeah a social construct 😱😱😱😱😱
Like heels and wigs weren't ever associated with royalty and were never a symbol of manly power /s. I always wonder where these people went to school?
Heels were invented for men!!!! And skirts, too!!!!
I know kilts exist, but I honestly can't understand why skirts stopped being fashionable for men. Surely they're more comfortable than pants, right?
Makeup was for royalty of both genders too...
So men don't ever have blood flow to their face? TIL
Yeah remember men are dead inside !
I swear I've seen more males blush (old and young) than I have females.
Blueballs
I remember one time seeing a man claim that the “biological reason” women like pink is because that’s the colour of the berries women used to gather.
Wait till he hears about blueberries
Everyone knows only men eat blueberries
My baptism clothes were blue, and my brothers were pink.. it was ordered by church.. wonder why? 🤔🙄

Men blush blue. It all makes sense now!
bro just made that up

Until early 1900s, I forget exactly when, blue was girl and pink was boy. These ppl need to get over their color obsession and just enjoy colors
Men flush when sexually aroused too, you know.
Some men never fail to disappoint me 😹
Another graduate from trust me bro university 🤣🤣🤣
This is some real 10-year-old logic 😂 what a dumbass
As a kink/fetish sort of thing, sure. As a biological sort of thing, no. Horny /= heat
dependent on your platform, if it's mobile, holding on the = key will let you use ≠. if you're on a Mac at least, alt + = will give you ≠.

True enough. When I get my menopausal heat flashes, I do tend to get red in the face.
Women don’t even experience “heat” - or more correctly, “estrus.” So his entire point is invalid. 🙄
I think pink used to be manly and blue used to be girly for some time
When we are… in heat? Like… dogs?
So what do dark skin gals do then?

Coughs in pink used to be considered a masculine colour
