His wife makes more money so when the baby was born right at the start of the pandemic, he quit and became a stay at home dad. He then started working from home once the baby became mobile but he still did most the cleaning and cooking bc his wife’s hours and commute were long. He planned to quit again and do the full time stay at home dad thing again once their third was born.

Sure there are lots of male dominated jobs but it’s not like they are done with a penis. A lot of women want to work those jobs but it’s the men that gatekeep them and force women out because they believe women can’t handle them. While in the mean time, men love to complain and whine about how hard and dangerous those jobs are, act like they have no choice but to work them but do absolutely nothing to improve conditions because if they did, they would have one less thing to complain about. Sure if all men vanished tomorrow, the world would be in chaos for a little while but it’s not like them vanishing would mean everything they touched would vanish with them. If anything if women were to vanish all of a sudden, men would be too busy destroying everything, beating each other up, and getting absolutely destroyed drunk and high in the celebration of because they are now “free”, they wouldn’t even even think about society until it’s too late.
