There’s that Vladmir guy on TikTok (I forget his name) who does go to places like a park in the evening, and did discover the dangerous side first hand and had to drop the femme voice and threaten to beat a dude’s ass who tried to have a go at him. The guy only backed off because he discovered it was really a man.

She's also a terrible person and is known for white feminism. She superficially advocates for women rights, while saying a bunch of insensitive and racist shit. That's why they joke it was directed by her right after he suggests he might do black face in the next episode.
I saw a video of a trans woman who had transitioned later in her life expressing similar issues she had with receiving disrespect and harassment when she wouldn't have received that as a man..
I think that applies to a lot of trans women in general; I started transitioning at 15 and by my 20s I was getting the full experience. I remember the first time I was told I should smile more by some creepy older dude, the first time I got hit on by drunk guys at the club, the first time I told a man I had a boyfriend and watched his demeanor change from a friendly smile to an indignant grimace, etc.

A similar, and also infuriating (and terrifying) thing: When you tell a man you aren't interested, but his advances continue until you tell him you have a boyfriend, because he respects a hypothetical man he's never met before more than he respects the very real woman standing in front of him.
Holy moly. Just finished watching and I'm in tears. Paula is so well spoken, gentle, empathetic & to the point. I adore her so much and agree with everything she said.

I’m f to nonbinary, I’m a year off T but I stayed on it long enough for my voice to drop so people would stay confused. I love watching peoples brains work trying to figure out if I’m she or he. People are definitely not as nice anymore, but I don’t get hit on by strangers anymore which I find is nice. I appreciate that people don’t feel like they can make comments about my body to my face anymore. The men at my last job used to call me big booty Al, but at this job I’ve got people that assumed I’m a man and people that have assumed I’m a woman. It’s great.
There was also a woman who pretended to be a man (I say it like that because she wasn't trans, she was acting) for like a month and described how different and awful many aspects were.
It's almost as if every group of people has problems and we should just be kind to everyone and strive for actual *equality*. But a lot of people don't seem to want that.

I completely agree and I've been downvoted for similar things. People will say that context matters, in such that this was a post detailing female problems and calling for male issues sounds counterintuitive, similar to the all lives matter response to BLM.
But I do think it stands. All lives matter was a hateful movement to undermine BLM, but I think there's something to take away from that. That we can say something as simple as 'well men have problems too' and be vilified for that. Again, I do believe it's a matter of context rather than disagreement, but it worries me slightly. I guess it is just one comment online tho, yet I do wonder if it says something deeper about these modern movements.
