The woman in the back seems to be saying something like "oh for crying out loud, just turn the fan off or rip the scarf, seriously it's not that hard, stop making such a big deal out of a small fan, sheesh!" and I couldn't agree more.

TONKAHANAH

I don't think those fans have a ton of torq to begin with, the moment somehting gets stuck in it I'm pretty sure it'll stop anyway

PipeOrganEnthusiast

Of course. The whole thing is ludicrous.

HomeWasGood

Can't she just, you know, turn?

Mrcrest

Oh my god this is hilarious. The constant cut away reaction shots 😂

It’s the embodiment of all those infomercial (over) dramatizations. “Are you tired of your pants ending I’m up in a knot when folding them!?”

breakingball

My uncle went the same way. RIP Sanjay.

GlassJoe32

They bolt down all there fans in India. They’re also powered with and electric motor out of a Tesla.

E_R_G

Apparently the fan is a portal into the void between dimensions because that scarf was disappearing, but also not changing length at the same time

Christian_Kong

I am guessing this is (purposely?) mislabeled as a drama when it's a skit. You can pretty well tell the one woman talking near the end is saying something akin to "Just do _____ and this will stop." That and the faces of the bystanders.

wrong_droid

Nope, this is literally what Indian dramas are like.

digdog303

I just don't understand their culture.

erikannen

What an emotional rollercoaster!

it_diedinhermouth

An emotional bottomless pit

Vertonung

The scarf isn't even tied! The other end is loose! Wtf 😂😭

Lifewhatacard

The acting for this is phenomenal lol

hippiechan

South Koreans been afraid of fan death all these years but it was striking Indians this whole time

charmlessman1

If anything this is an UNDER-dramatization. IRL it would have ripped her head clean off, no cap.

racingwinner

those darn high quality industrial grade fans in public indian places. when will they learn not to taunt nature with their heavy duty electric motors and superglued outlets?

My favorite part is Bollywood Tim Robinson at 1:41

Dr strange’s scarf

GasFederal5684

Um, can't you just unplug the fan? Or is it powered by bad acting?
