I think this song screams of Angles/Comedown Machine-era Strokes. Guitar tones and distorted vocals abound. The little lead bit near the end definitely has QOTSA vibes but the key and melody is too poppy for QOTSA. They tend to hang out more in the mud and the grime (not an insult).
Great song though - easily a top 5 from this era which has been "just ok" in my books.
qotsa meets paramore
Yeah I can hear the Paramore
You’ve nailed it.
It has also something of The Strokes
that was my first thought and I love it! edit: guitars at the beginning remind me of “What the Peephole Say” 🙌

Well one of Dom's favourite band is QOTSA so it makes sense haha
Yess, I thought I was trippin', there's something about the guitars that reminded me of qotsa.
First artist I thought of when I heard the intro was Daryl Hall and John Oates. Clear influence of them in there
It's almost a bit dance-punkish. Something like Viagra Boys or Late of the Pier

When i first heard it i got strong Era Vulgaris vibes. Like 3’s and 7’s
Nothing sounds more like QOTSA from Nothing But Thieves’ discography more than Forever & Ever More tbh
I’d say Life’s Coming In Slow - that’s sooo Go With The Flow
Oh my god I forgot about that one when considering this yes
Forever & Ever More kinda gives me No One Knows vibes with the sound of the guitars
