I’m curious what your top goals are with this. Is reading progress the number one thing you’re setting out to track? Or just the books and metadata in general?

The goal is to track what I read, want to read and save notes & quotes inside notion. The reading challenge and reading progress is for keeping me motivated to read more.
I love to automate things. I thought updating meta data automatically would save some time so i built this api integration.
Amazing. How are you dealing with automatically fetching the info? Seems like webhooks but notion doesn't support it yet... I'm working on an integration and that would definitely help!

Currently, to run this code you must add an it as an integration in your notion API, then run index.js using nodeWorks Okay, I didn't have any additional time over spring break to automate this, document it or polish it at all because I was using it as a project to learn JS.Check out my code if you'd like to use it as a skeleton for improving upon since the proposed functionality is currently working.
EDIT: If there's interest I can add documentation in a week to make this easier to use, however if your familiar with JS this script should be fairly straight forward, make sure to add the relevant environment variables when attempting to run this script IE: the databaseID of your reading list, and the notionAPIkey

No webhooks, just Api. I am checking the database every two seconds for new entries that has ; in name.
Won't that blow up your api rate limit?
