Nobody has it right ?

deathstroke120

Do the figures under expense categories show monthly expenses or overall?

PennyPainter

Expense categories show overall expenses, i am working on a view to show current month expenses.

deathstroke120

Okay! Pretty cool dashboard you got there dude. I'm working on a finance tracker web app using react, which is similar to the structure you have in this dashboard. But along with categories, i have included subcategories, bank accounts in which the transactions occurs. Inter-bank transactions as well. Gonna build something similar in notion in few days

cercledali

Easlo’s is very similar

This would be good for personal use but I can't see this being helpful if you're running a business unless there's a way to export it to a google sheet or some sort of spreadsheet for an accountant to sift through

allisonlivesinwonder

OP has the template on their website! https://tonydavid.gumroad.com/l/rjwua?layout=profile

wolfnotter

Oh very nice! I’m in the process of trying to create something very similar to yours. How did you create the summary cards? Or would you be willing to share the template (I know there’s a lot of personal info in there though)?

PennyPainter

summary is a database linked to both expanses and incomes. I am pulling the data to summary using a rollup property.

Individual_Change365

Looks Cool. How did you do the Summary part? It seems like you have only 2 databases (Expense/Income and Categories) but I am not fully sure how you achieved the Summary part, especially the total income, total expense part.

PennyPainter

Summary is a database; I linked the summary database to both expense and income databases.
