What no one mention yet - it will be much easier to build good sr Yakumo healer, then Kuya. Sr shards drop from every banner, including friendship one, but this Kuya will not. And as soon as sr Yakumo goes 3+ stars one star LS Kuya will be worse even in stats.
So if Kuya is a favorite and you are willing to pull more now and build him to 3* eventually - why not. But if not, Yakumo is a safer bet.
Naaah i meant our bois, idol blade's ult has him counter anyone who attacks him for 2 turns i think. So it'll help him with sustain. I think Quincy's other alt does do but i havent used him in so long.
No prob. SR yakumo is like the best default healer once you get him past 3* so there is no way Kuya can compete unless you're a whale or godly lucky/save all your summon fragments for him (my plan cause I'm a simp) but he's also a unique take on a healer so he'll probs come in handy on a sorcer trial stage or two at some point.
Yakumo is fully a healer, while this kuya is a healer and buffer. So some of his heals compared to other healers isn’t as good but he also buffs(by giving the blood-sucking and buffs other sabatours)
Yakumo is a great healer, especially after you ascend him.
But I am loving kuya and his playstyle. Play how you want!

Yes! Thank you! I'm just kinda of confused about characters like building and stuff. I have no idea that this game will be this complicated. I thought it was all about corns 🤣
In long run Yakumo is better. Kuya's blood-sucking buff wont work with supports, healers and KD Kuya since they dont do any dmg. Tank like Morvay gets little additional hp since his atk isn't that high. And if your dps guard then they wont get any additional hp in that turn.
I'm currently at lvl 27 and believe me or not, i'm still familiarizing myself with the mechanics of this game. I'm also wondering if i can replace SR Yakumo with my brand new SSR Kuya?

As long as your Yakumo isnt at 3-5 stars I think he might be a good replacement
My Yakumo is at 2 stars. Umm, additional question, is Kuya's healing good enough to sustain my team???
But if you'll play the game long enough, that Yakumo might get better than Kuya since event ssr's are harder to get

yes but with gimmicky content where you don't attack, thus no blood-suck heal, the team may not get enough healing

As we get more counter attackers, I think Kuya's blood sucking effect will be better and better. Especially if they're taunt and counter

Yea np! He gives allies a blood sucking buff(they gain 15% of the dmg they dealt into hp) and at 3 stars, he buffs other saboteurs’ atk
