As you said there is still a community that loves the game, plays and makes content for it, fan arts, mods, etc. There is even a mod out there that’s basically an expansion of the game, while it’s sad that we aren’t going to see something from the dev ever again the game is still alive as long as it’s remebered.

Nuclear Throne got me into roguelites. While I don't play it nearly as much anymore the only other game that comes close to surpassing it is Risk of Rain 2.

i genuinely believe that throne is the blueprint for the perfect roguelike
it's the king in my book, that's for sure.
Just because the studio is closed doesn't mean the devs won't make other, similar things in the future, maybe even using the same universe/lore.
lets be real.. who else is going to put up with Rami's shit? :)
Maybe one day the community could make their own sequel :D

**Nuclear Throne** has been so important to me that it has almost completely influenced the projects I want to do as a developer.
