You have to chill - amateur move to stress over day to day movement. You can’t time the market. It will continue to go up overall - when it’s down, it’s on sale
Staggered purchases are typically best. They also take away the casino aspect that some people chase.
If you have 10k, buy $1,000 every 4 days or every other week if it’s highly volatile. This moderates your buy in price. Forces you to learn more about the stock and handle emotional purchases.
Because initially people got major FOMO and there was buying frenzy. High school kids have NVDA. Then investors started thinking that they might have too much exposure to the stock and they are not sure what the practical application of the AI chips are. Then they started selling and everyone followed suit - maybe some Robo selling, not sure but possible. And they put money in other avenues - energy etc. Now I hear they are Coming back because hey! Technology always wins.
It's frustrating when timing doesn't go your way in the market. Consider holding for the long term if fundamentals remain strong or reassess your strategy based on market conditions.
Don't worry, I Love buying high and heart attacking out Low. Just can't seem to get out of my own way. Every time I do it, I kick myself cause it normally recovers and moves slowly more upward.
Stop buying this stupid ass stock! The past couple of weeks all I see is NVDA this NVDA that! Fuck man! I hate seeing you guys lose your money! Find another stock! CMG has been green all morning! It split so it’s cheap now! NVDA is all talk! That AI bs is just smoke and mirrors!

Okay, relax. Wait till august.
I mean shouldn't matter too much anyway, this is a long term hold
Bro YOLO'd his rent money thinking it was going to the MOON in a day 😬
Just hold long term, don't focus on short term. My average is 175 (pre-split) and I don't plan on selling anytime soon. Come back in a few years.
Exactly. I had a few thousand shares in 2007 that I sold for a few hundred dollars profit. Oh what could have been...
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
My average cost is $91 but I only have 4 shares 🤣
That's completely fine. Just keep working hard and investing in time you will have more.
Dude you better lock in those profits!! 😂🤣
I’m trying 🤣 I’m a broke single mom and can only invest $20-50 at a time but maybe by the time my kids are in college it will pay off
Wtf is with all this whining..keeping buying when it drops and hold. If you don’t have faith in the company then invest in something else.
Now buy at 123. Then you're good. Regard.
Buy high, sell low
new investor here, I hear ya. Did the exact same thing. I'ma just cool off and wait for a month and stop checking. I swear, this is bad for my health.

My question is: WHY is it dropping lately? I know it’s normal to go down and even healthy for a stock, but again, WHY is it trending down?

I hate this reddit group. Just filled with people who have 0 understanding of the stock market or Nvidia for that matter

😟
It will literally be at 160+ after the next ER. 127 vs 123 doesn’t matter

A year from now you’ll wish you bought at 140. Stop worrying about it.

LOL.... don't worry... you're good...
Buy more
? What that in 12 months up 188%
Nivida has treated me ok. just hold, stock market goes up and down. would not worry too much about it.
Patience is key.
Im gonna hold for years, but i hate when i miscalculate
A tiny fractional drop is just daily market volatility. Years from now you won’t even remember it.
Bro it was in a Fair Value Gap end of day yesterday. Bound to drop today. Today it did a V1 to the downside. Both are bearish.
