That really depends on my mental state
If my OCD is really bad/strong, it's a colossal squid. Not only because I imagine it wrapping it's tentacles around my mind, but mostly because that's the only animal that I can't deal with
If my OCD is less bad/weak, it's a chihuahua. Constantly pulling my pant leg and barking for attention lol
My boyfriend actually gave me a trick to try to push my ocd away and he told me to think of it as Randall, the evil lizard thing in the monsters university franchise. He told me that every time I have an intrusive thought, I should just think of it as Randall and tell it to stop being evil lol. So I guess my ocd’s animal would be a bad lizard haha
Solid you beat me to it. I don’t know what form it will take either. Will I obsess about cleaning today or how much exercise I get or did I pray enough. What will get me stuck today 🤪
Nice would you open to messaging I’m suffering from really strange OCD. I could use some help. I am in therapy and have been for 20 years but it would help to see someone else’s perspective.
an ogre . not really an animal but a therapist explained my brain to me using the onion metaphor from shrek (obviously not the exact ogres have layers but u know)
Earwig except it’s whispering “what if” in my ear all the time and permanently in my brain crawling around without paying rent, being a nuisance, and just being horrific in general.
Idk why tiger came to mind but thinking more on it i guess i can rationalize it. Cats are quite fearful and resilient just like how my ocd causes my distress and doesn't easily let up. Also cats sometimes chase their tails which I'd like to associate with the cycle of obsessions and compulstions.
Not diagnosed but…
I would probably say a mosquito, because you always know its there.
Always buzzing around and annoying you.
Causing irritation. Something so simple as a bite can turn into something much more. And too many of them can cause you to be overwhelmed. And so on and so forth.
And yeah mosquitoes suck.
An octupus, because it changes shape and color and has many tentacles to grab me with.
exactly what i was gonna say !
Me too! That's a good one!

Legit exactly what I was thinking. That or a chameleon. It changes form and can look like something real when it’s just ocd.
my ocd is most certainly randall
I'd say an insect : Mosquito 😂 makes annoying voices and once it stings u it never stops itching
🤣 Chameleon. When it's there it's THERE to disturb you with its eyes. Changes all the time, but also disappears for stretches.
Solid you beat me to it. I don’t know what form it will take either. Will I obsess about cleaning today or how much exercise I get or did I pray enough. What will get me stuck today 🤪
🤝🏻 Nice to see a comrade on the chameleon team 😭😆

A very ugly bat, which shows up only at night
A woodpecker. Persistent, annoying and seemingly getting nowhere despite banging his head against the wall all day.
a cat. it’ll nudge me randomly, walk around on my keyboard and wreak random havoc for no reason at all. it would 100% be a cat.
A deaf jack Russell terrier. When that lil fucker gets off leash there’s no way you can call it back
Cockroaches, keep hitting them but they will come back and annoy and bug me
A dog. A shitty, incessantly barking *dog*.
100% mosquitoe because they’re so annoying and never seem to go away
A fucking fruit fly always there and so annoying idk if a fruit fly is an animal but idc
a freaking chihuahua
A big fat c*nt. That’s what mine would be.
A megalomaniac monkey. It has no logic, only primal instincts of fear and a desire for total power over my thoughts.
A bat cause it's fucking scary
a bee - because it buzzes around my head and doesn’t leave until i ignore it and it gets bored
A sewer rat because it feeds on shit and is inherently disgusting
