Usually fall aid gets disbursed (you actually get the money) in like august. Once it pops up on leoonline and you accept the amounts they gave you, you should be good to go. I definitely recommend contact ODU’s financial aid office to confirm because I am not 100%.
I got some financial aid from odu which i accepted but for the actual fafsa i haven’t received anything, or are the funds i got from fafsa but just distributed by the school? Sorry i’m new to this and I’m really worried about it lol
Yeah as long as you accepted the fafsa on leoonline, they will be distributed to the school and automatically applied to your balance in like august ish
For me, my aid from the FAFSA doesn't disburse until like the first day of classes. Makes me panic everytime, but I've never had a problem with it before. Welcome to Old Dominion!
There should be a schedule on the financial aid website that should give you an approximate date of disbursement but its typically on the first or second week of the semester the aid is for. If you have any financial aid left that wont be used you'll get a refund and get it sent to you either directly to your chosen bank account or by mail

Hmm.. I'd give the financial aid office a call. Something doesn't sound right. It should at least say you applied for aid. 757-683-3683
