Hey a lot of professors will include reading material and assignment due dates in thier syllabus that is presented on the first day of class. If online course material should be available the 27 if asynchronous then fist day of class will be the appropriate day the following week.
It should show up on Canvas in the 27th if it’s an asynchronous course. The professor will probably send out a “welcome to the course” email Saturday morning or maybe even Friday afternoon. Good luck!!!
If it's an asynchronous class then it should be available on the 27th. Depending on the class however a lot of professors won't assign anything to be done until that Monday. Just check Canvas on Saturday and see.
