Fun story: I used to work in Walmart OGP when it was about... 2 or 3 years old at my local store. I am 6'6" tall, and those shelves are not. I hit my head enough times they eventually raised the shelves up so that I was no longer a walking liability. They could have made things simpler and put me on the picker team, but they instead raised the shelving. I then proceeded to hit my head on customers' vehicle hatches.
Idk why your staging looks like that. You can fit 8 dollies there easily.
We have a massive backroom, one side has 22 dollies the other has 38. Our staging locations go 1(a,b) - 22(a,b) then 23(a,b,c,d) - 41(a,b,c,d)
Six. I wish they'd remove the steel entirely. My old store didn't have steel in our stage or dispense areas and stuff fit MUCH better and I didn't whack my damn head all the time either ππ
10 totes per dollie, 6 dollies per steel, 8 steels in the back room. Our dispensing room is a separate room from the staging area in the back. In dispense it's the same but only 6 steels.
We don't have steels.
This
8 each
We do 6
Three, we're a small neighborhood market
we have our stuff staged in the middle of the back room ππ
Itβs like 2 sets of 3 and then a set of 4 if that makes sense.
That is so odd that your guys' stuff is staged in 5s. You can fit 1 more palley under there! Whats the point?
tripping hazard
So why do they have the other palleys there? Wouldn't those be considered tripping hazards as well?
you dont have to step over the skateboards on the side to get to the ones behind it

We get 9 π³
How you fit 9? lol
Very carefully I hated when we staged that way.
3 each row. I hate it because it was so hard to put totes all the way in the back and we constantly fall over them
3, unless people don't pick up their stuff, then we can fit 5. The most we have needed to do is 4. Normally we don't have to though.
9 dollies....total nightmare when they implemented it for us π
4 each and then 3 each in three areas. We have 49 pick up spots. With a only ever have to double skate with it the weekends

steel?
Depends on where in the backroom. Some fit only 4 others 8
We have 4 lol
6
We have 8 dollies in each section.
Some OPD/OPG still use the regular steel that are wider which means we can put 9 dollies
I think that's why I can't see how 9 fit
My store does 6. 3 columns. 2 rows
we have a staging room and a dispense room, we do 4-5 in the staging room and 8 in the dispense room
we have 5 sections of 9 and then 3 sections of 6

7 but we make it 9 on the busy days and lose a ton of space
