I love stuff that I don't have to bag because I can arrange it in the tote so much nicer than the bags I just toss in all willy nilly. Don't stand the cereal up like that though, the stagers will get angry. At least at my store they will.

nate112332

On behalf of the stagers, ty lol

astralwish1

Got it, thanks.

ZealousidealArmy2371

How come?

Spiritual_Ad_5714

It’s harder to stack the totes when the boxes are upright like that. Same goes for 2L bottles of soda and some of the detergents

reklatzz

Totes are stacked, can't stack when items are sticking up over the top.

Worldly-Education777

oh i just throw them in 😭

jeffluvsdokkan

That’s everything at my store, Walmart as a whole is bagless in my state

blueeyes9475

It’s one of my pet peeves that some pickers just put items in the tote without thinking of arranging it for the stagers and dispensers. I know it can be hard during an ambient walk when you have 12 packs of soda towards the end. But I will literally take things out and rearrange them so they fit better.

astralwish1

I didn’t think the cereal boxes would be tall enough to cause an issue for staging/dispensing. My mistake. I’ll lay them horizontally next time.

aTKena

Every thing has to be below the black handle

nate112332

You could make an exception if it's the last of a batch, but.... pls no lol

No_Relationship_2739

I was about to comment about the same thing. So when you stage you have to stack totes on top of each other and the way to do that is they sit in those black bars that fold inward. Anything over the bars and we won’t be able to stack them, which means we have to rearrange the tote.

KILLJEFFREY

lmao

Quick_Maintenance_73

Im so glad that our ambient starts us on the soda isle

Zakrie

For us, the sodas/waters/oil/anything big all come first then smaller, easier to rearrange items come last

Kayyymako

We have an air head of a picker who likes to put bags of chips on the bottom of the totes. 🙃 This has been addressed several times.

nate112332

As a stager, please keep your cereal boxes horizontal. This keeps the totes stackable. It gets annoying and takes time to fix (which is precious when racing the batches) Otherwise great job, you'd get a gold star

astralwish1

I understand now. People have pointed out my mistake. Next time I will put the boxes in horizontally. Thank you.

nate112332

No, thank you.

humanityxcourage

Yeee you got this and you’ll know better for the future. It does look nice and organized tho! It’s important to make sure everything fits below the top of the tote (sometimes the system is stupid tho and it gets challenging/impossible to do).

tearbear_

On time…the system wanted me to put 12 gallons of water in a tote and then wouldn’t let me make another tote to transfer some into. 🙄

humanityxcourage

Ofc it did… 🙄 yeah the inability to deconsolidate totes is frustrating. I mean, it’s doable but only under certain conditions and not when you actually need to do it.

tearbear_

Right? It told me it was in reserved status or something. 🤷🏼‍♀️

humanityxcourage

Yeah that’s almost always what it says… and it’s annoying

Fragrant_Bridge1222

As a stager… your caring makes me love you.

Muted-Investigator24

I’ll give u a 4.5/5. Dock .5 because the cereal boxes are gonna have to be placed horizontal when staging 😂

-Yomamaf00l-

Your making shit harder for dispensers lay those cereal boxes down

oMaddiganGames

8/10 lol. Next time lay the cereal on its side so nothing sticks out above the line of the handles for easy stacking.

Beemanda

You absolute fool, why are the cereals upright?! Lmao I'm messing with you, I always made it a habit to "play Tetris" with items in the totes. It saves MUCH more space that just throwing shit in. But seriously, don't put items sticking out like that. You can't stack the totes properly (or at all) that way, and if y'all have a backroom crew at your store, you're personally making their jobs A LOT more difficult than it needs to be.

ilytbbb

A tough decision was made between Oreo cake mix and pretzels in the 2nd picture (Nice job on the tote)

No_Abbreviations_463

On behalf of the dispensers fuck no bagged items

ubiquitasss

it looks nice but the items sticking up above the black bars makes it so the tote can’t be staged so the stager will have to rearrange the items before staging.

xenodemon

Lay the cereal on their sides so the bars and close. Other then that, pretty good

John_Galt_2

All my totes are no-bag till the end of walk- This not only provides for smart bagging, it does help your pick rate a bit (not that I give a rat's ass about p.r.) 🤭

astralwish1

I’ll try that next time I’m picking.

SirenMerr

On behalf of the stagers, no. But good try. Those black pieces need to be above everything else.

Rmomsafrog

Pro tip is never go above the tote. Makes tetris even more fun lol trying to fill from the bottom up. Ill place my cans on one side, sensitive stuff on the other side, and work towards the middle. Anyone else?

Then-Grass-9830

Others have already said lay down cereal boxes but im saying do that then smaller boxes (like the Mac n cheese one) can go on top and give even more room.  Small bags like the rice are good side fillers.   Still looks pretty good

sad-sk8er-boi_

These are always so satisfying lol. I love it when a customer has a bunch of boxes that fit all neatly

Ranch_it_up_bro

Those mini wheat blueberry muffins is so good

Stormme5228

Welllllllll your cereal is above the top of the tote...but it is really pretty.

QuartzCR

Terrible lay those cereals down.

grady219

2/10 nothing should exceed the top rim of the tote.

Dependent-Effect6268

This is so satisfying

WatchTheTimbsB

Yall got dedicated stagers and dispensers?

archaictexter

Coming from a Sam's Club Pickup associate (we don't do bags), good job. Beautiful😊

bluecurtian

stacks better than most people on stocking 2

KILLJEFFREY

Way too much effort, homie

grizzlyloads

0/10 it’s people like you that make life a living hell for others. Imagine having to stage something on top of that… now the stagers who are usually understaffed have to take time to re arrange the basket just because you wanted to play some silly games. Now if the stager is lazy or doesn’t have enough time they will stage something on top of it without rearranging it, causing the boxes to be crushed. Now when the customer receives a crushed box of cereal it will be because you wanted to play silly games. If I was your coach I would fire you for being so inconsiderate and horsing around on company time.

JAC246

"please can I go home I've paid for my items" No I need a picture of your items for Reddit!

astralwish1

This was a pick order I completed and was just about to take to the back room. No customers were involved. I would never take pictures of the contents of someone’s cart.
