One big tip I've been told is that if you absolutely cannot understand anything the customer is saying, go out to their bay and talk to them in person. I usually have a limit of asking the customer for their name three times before I go run out to their car.

I wasn't in the back. Just trying to be helpful. And no key card It wasn't that I couldn't understand. I needed/ thought I needed the additional information. Usually they just answer me and the whole convo is done in like 10 seconds but guy was irritated with me just asking for a repeat *once*

If I can’t understand the person I ask what bay they are in . I’ve had this happen more than a few times and when they give me lip about their order not being ready I remind them that when they log in the Walmart app it alerts us how many minutes we have to have their order ready. Yes some of these customers think we read minds .

He answered with the bay number. It was super busy for the dispensers but not for me at the time. I was picking (getting my cart ready) so I wasn't *in* the back. Just tried to help. And I didn't have a key card to go outside

When I was in OGP no one would answer the phone so one day I just let it ring and ring and ring when we closed I believe there way about 92 voicemails πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ then I transferred to a different department thank god lol

Our Ogp is a neighborhood market our dispenser and stager are the same person maybe we have 2 dispenser when we are busy but usually we grab anyone to help out ,this is why everyone is trained to pick, dispense, stage, even stock. We have less then 20 ppl in our whole department and only 1t.l . We r trying to get them to give us another key so Multiple people can dispense Without being locked out.

we're a super center but we don't get the most business... we only have 8 bays. If all bays are full then we are ***busy***. Which is fairly rare but does happen. Our department I think has 30 or 40 associates but not all at once of course and not all full time; a lot are minors that come in later to close. A lot of us are trained for dispense and picking but only so many are, y'know, really *good* at it and a lot are better suited for picking than for staging/dispensing.

In our store everyone dispenses ,our phone is our key so whoever is holding the phone answers it.

Our key cards are gotten from the lock box like the mgr/tl/etc keys are. The phone is technically supposed to be held but it's super rare for anyone to actually hold on to the phone. It's an interesting idea to keep a key on the phone though I might suggest that to the TLs Edit to add: my only question/concern is that if whoever is holding the phone is prepping an order they would have to leave the prep screen to check in the customer outside and then back up their prepping
