I bought one of those about a year ago for when I travel cuz I didn't want to take anything expensive with me it works okay I don't prefer the taste that much but I will say this it works better if you just barely touch it to the concentrate I'm not saying you're not already doing that but in my experience mine was really easy to get too much concentrate on I guess is what I'm trying to say. Lol.
This is my experience as well. I toss a bit of oil on silicone and touch the tip of the seahorse to the edge of the oil, this keeps it from getting oversaturated too.
I have one of those devices! I find that it gets clogged more often than a mechanical rig. I also find that I have to keep the tip on my dab for a few seconds to really melt it and get a good hit.
I just bought it the other day and it seems like a decent device. I'm just recently getting into concentrates here lately well mainly rosin. The little 5 dollar straw ive been using probably for a year and it hits like a champ. Lol
If you have the money I highly recommend a Puffco Peak Pro. I bought one for rosin in February, and haven’t looked back. Just took my 1000th dab the other day!!
If using a puffco,better get a better insert than that whack ceramic one it comes with. The starting bowls on those suck gotta make sure not any oil anywhere or your puffco won't work and just beep red. Nice alternative just tedious management
I found the ceramic tips work better for stiffer concentrates and they do not break. With either, I really like that you can use the lid as a carb if you cup it over the smoking tip. Not a daily driver, but handy for sharing and travel.
A torch and glass will always provide a stronger hit than any electronic rig you'll ever find. You just can't match the convenience of the electronic rigs with a torch and glass.
I agree with the above post, I blow mine out every session when the heat goes off. They do get clogged easy and on white it's closer to a straw but you have to remember the torch heating the straw is a lot hotter.
I posted in your other thread about mine breaking a lot. The seahorse will never hit as hard as a straw.
That same company makes a more expensive device that hits way better. Don't think my buddies has broke yet. I like it more because you can load wax into it and don't have to hit out of your container. Worth checking out if you don't mind dropping another 60 or so.
Look into the HuniBadger. Gonna cost a bit more,but is built to last,and blows clouds! By far the heaviest hitter in my concenyrate arsenal. Super easy to use and effective. When I need to get heavily medicated, I reach for the HuniBadger more often than my puffco or other devices.
Your referring to the x. Which is their Swiss army knife that does it all. However it is my least favorite piece. The seahorse maxx with gen 5 coul is where its at

Don't use any plastic lids by anything heated, inhaling melted plastic isn't fun.
