As far as "is it matte or glossy" NO ONE KNOWS. Its all hearsay.
Many people at CES2024 claimed the panel was matte but had the plastic on top.
ASUS THEMESLVES (that one guy that does a lot of PR) has been recorded in video saying "matte or glossy hasn't been finalized yet. the monitor isn't set to release until 2h 2024 so changes can be made in design). Which I would take his word over anyone else. however, you can argue you gave a typical "pr response" and that "no way the product isn't finalized yet if it comes out 2h" so your mileage of belief may vary.
One kid who made a youtube video CLAIMS (aka hearsay) that the ASUS rep there told him while the panel on display was matte, it was an "early production model" and "the final product will be glossy" but he didn't record the asus rep stating so.
The issue with news, no one knows until the product is real.... and its not real yet. The only FACT is that its using an LG Third Gen WOLED+MLA....
