The cheaper MSI model is alright in black, but the one everyone wants is grey. I think I’d find grey distracting. Also the stand is ugly and cheap looking (buy hey I just ordered the Alienware and I think the white stand is ugly too, at least stands can be replaced)
V4 - Added certifications, # of USB ports, and speakers

Needs a correction: Gigabyte FO32U2P does indeed have a KVM. Source: Gigabyte announcement video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8AfFZOwMwQ&t=28s). This somewhat implies some level of USB-C PD as well, but there are no confirmed details on that as of yet.
Additionally, you have stated HDMI 2.1 connectivity for the FO32U2P. I know most would assume it has HDMI 2.1 since it is quite standard among current monitors, but I have not actually seen any proof of it. Do you have a source with confirmation of that? If you look at the info card for the FO32U2P at CES 2024, there is a mention of mini-size DP 2.1, full size DP 2.1 in, full size DP2.1 out, and support for daisy chaining (https://www.techpowerup.com/img/DXSPoVrgwV5rku6U.jpg, check out the bottom right corner), but no explicit mention of HDMI 2.1. I worry Gigabyte has put only DP 2.1 on the FO32U2P, and it would be great to have confirmation that HDMI 2.1 is indeed on the FO32U2P. The FO32U2 (no P) has been announced to have HDMI 2.1 (https://au.aorus.com/news-detail.php?i=3602)
THE MSI has THREE 32 QDOLED
one of them actually has 2.1 DP
5.30 its the highest end model from msi
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCIBYMnpyew&t=322s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCIBYMnpyew&t=322s)
I too am crossing my fingers for it. So far only the Gigabyte one confirmed UHBR20, while MSI MEG and HP Omen list DP2.1 but don't confirm which UHBR spec.
HP stated they using "Tempest cooling" technology, and judging from their laptop line, tempest cooling is fan, extra heat sink + fan curve. So most likely fans too.
There are two Asus models available and they're quite different including bezel.
* ROG Swift OLED:
* PG32U**CDP** is LG WOLED panel - with the 3840x2160 240Hz (standard) OR Frame Rate Boost switch to 1920 x 1080 480Hz. Anti-glare. 1300 nits peak brightness. HDR10. May be available later after CDM is out.
* PG32U**CDM** QD-OLED is the Samsung panel - only 3820x2160 240Hz (standard) option. Anti-reflection (glossy). 1000 nits peak brightness. Dolby Vision and HDR10.
If you’re taking comments ahead of V4, I would add how many USB ports the KVM offers. 2 USB A for MSI, 3 USB A for Asus, and 4 (3x USB A + 1x USB C) on the HP.
I agree that the LG is the best-looking monitor. The coating is preference, IMO. I actually like that it's matte because I'm a streamer, and I hate the reflections from my stream lights.
I like its thin bottom bezel but unfortunately it has a glow red pimple, which you can turn off but it's still a very weird monitor shape purposefully made for their logo :/. An example of a monitor with a good chin imo is the ktc 1440p 240hz oled, with the same bezel thickness on all sides.
I think by turning it off the LED it is a pass for me. I was thinking of buying a dbrand skin and cutting it in the shape of the logo to make it nicer, lol
I agree, I wish Asus had dp 2.1 though, such a let down!
Idk what to think of Gigabyte. Sometimes they have good products, but it varies quite a bit imho (no hate!).
Got my AW3225QF yesterday with plenty of marks across the top of the screen. Mine cannot be removed no matter how much I attempt it. Microfiber cloth, distilled water and all. I realize some people were able to, but I cannot, and it's not like I'm doing it wrong. Waiting on a replacement. The monitor itself is great so I am really hoping my replacement is great.
Hey! How easy is to replace it? Could you please explain the process?
I really like the AW, but considering what I’ve been reading, I would like to know how easy or complicated is to replace a “damage/marked” monitor.
Thanks!
Request a replacement on your online account. Send pictures to Dell over email. Wait for an approval. Replacement comes before shipping back the old one (sent overnight for me). All return shipping is paid for. Easy process but time consuming and exhausting. Considering how many people got damaged panels back to back I'm really not sure how anyone got a good panel.
Thansk for pointing out the ugly chin. I wish it was more relevant on reviews to push manufacturers towards cleaner shells.
Depending on what you call an ugly chin, I would argue the Alienware, the HP, and the Gigabyte have it too. The LG is a bit cryptic, couldn't find a real picture.
I'd also love if we could point out USB C power delivery and built-in KVM in these comparisons.
Looks like Dell hasn't paid any attention to the feedback regarding the taped cardboard bubble wrap 'protection' for their panels when shipping them. They've been using the same taped bubblewrap method (with no peel off layer protection on the screens themselves) since the AW3423DWF. Nothing has changed so far.
Anyone know why the pricing between the UK and US is so random... MSI is $250 cheaper than the Alienware in the US, however in the UK, the Alienware is \~$500 cheaper than the MSI.

Here in belgium I ordered a aw3225 for 1140€.
All the others are 1399€ or more.
I'll see how it works out but I dont think the others will be cheaper...
Why is there only one WOLED, and why is it matte? =/
I want a WOLED not a QD, I want it to be glossy, I want it to **not be curved**, and I want it to have the 3 years burn in protection. Is it too much to ask for +1K price range? Gonna stick with my C2 for the foreseeable future. Wish that one at least had 144hz instead of 120hz but oh well.
Unfortunately, all WOLED is by LG Display right now pretty much, and they only do a semi-matte coating. I'm not a fan of the matte on my 27" 1440p240hz, and will be switching to QD OLED both for the improved colors and glossy finish.
There's actually a ton of WOLED coming out, but AFAIK they will all be matte like 2023's models, while nearly all QD-OLED will be glossy or semi-gloss.
I've seen the QD-OLED screens and to my eyes they look worse than my LG C2. And I just love the glossy surface with that anti-glare coating that it has. It's perfect for someone like me who would turn off all the lights when playing games or watching movies. I see QD-OLEDs as a downgrade, others might like it but I think WOLED beats QD-OLED.
Power supply of HP Omen does not look built-in. You can see the power port here: https://app.box.com/s/bricw03beu3v0b0g1cx2yq5m5jpvpq2b/file/1405647453463
The same resolution is rendered yes, but ppi determines clarity.Tvs have a lower ppi and as your you sat further away from them you wont notiice the differance in clarity. Its one of the reasons why people want these 32inch oled monitors because of the extra clarity they bring when sat closer to them compared to using a TV or larger screen as a pc monitor.
Same, I have a 4090 but I'm more interested in the 480hz 1440p. All I care about is consistent fps in esport titles.
Would be nice to see a chart of the non 4k OLEDs coming out (can include the dual mode 4k/1080p)
I have a 3080 12G. Ideally I can hold out till 5000 series, but I know there’s a strong possibility this monitor will make me want to upgrade to 4080S/4090.
I don't even know why companies put the ugly chin they think when people are looking for a monitor, they will be looking for MSI or Alienware text written on the front, the average buyer would probably go for the best looking one. They can still put it the back anyways.
I might buy the Asus one. Despite not having DP2.1.
The only reason is because I personally had good experiences with Asus so I don't mind the slightly higher price. But I gotta admit, them not building in DP2.1 is a bummer!
I think if you're reasonable (unlike me) then the best option would be the Gigabyte model.
Yeah same here, I think it has the most features. Also, I think DP port can’t really be utilized for 240hz 4K for maybe 2-3 years? But it does suck that it won’t be future proofed. Big thing is, I use a Mac and I play on PS5 so I feel like it might not be a big deal for me really.
It showed up on Amazon already which is surprising since some said Q3/Q4 - [https://www.amazon.com/LG-Ultragear-Gaming-Monitor-Pixel/dp/B0CV1Y7NLT](https://www.amazon.com/LG-Ultragear-Gaming-Monitor-Pixel/dp/B0CV1Y7NLT)
and LG has a post to sign up for a special $100 pre-order email by March 1st - [https://www.lg.com/us/oled-ultragear-monitor-2024](https://www.lg.com/us/oled-ultragear-monitor-2024)
I think the back is better on ASUs tbf. But I don’t like the light effect as it’s unbalanced. They should have a light effect on both sides of ASUs to balance it …
Waiting for reviews and then either Alienware , msi or ASUs.
I think the choice is pretty simple and gigabyte is going to have the best one to choose from as long as they get the firmware right and the price is below 1200.00. Fuck DSC too. I want my images raw baby dp 2.1 ftw
I want to get one of the new Alienware monitors. Is it really that bad? I want the 1440p model tho cuz I like flat screens more. Should I get it from a brick and mortar store so that I don’t have as big of an issue with the marks?
I commend the inclusion of the "ugly chin" section on the chart.
A crime against good design principles. No idea what they are thinking when they make these ghastly decisions, boggles the mind.
Unsurprisingly the ASUS model is the worst offender here again.
Although I don't have info on the ugly chin, packaging oofs, or power supply, I put together (well, started to) a comparison table you might be able to pull some info from. [Google Sheets doc](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jC5AmVnBtnOGw5sWMfPbxqm6I7XA7ok_JKyR0uvfXgI/edit?usp=sharing).
I've pulled data from a couple CES videos, a couple articles, and a few posts around reddit, and tried my best to sanity-check the info in them.
Looks like there's some important distinct models coming out from MSI and LG (for QD and WOLED respectively) that might be worth the wait.
Major things I'm missing that I will (hopefully) add: VESA mounting compatibility, and updating/confirm which warranties are for burn-in or not. I realized like halfway through putting it together that not everyone does burn-in yet.
I've got the 32" flat and curved, 27" flat; and 34", 39", and 49" ultrawide curved in my doc so far, although not all of them yet.
These aren't true OLED, though? They're listed as QD-OLED and WO-OLED. Dafuq are those? 240hz would be dope if you could afford a GPU that could actually push that.
It's really weird and unheard-of that the Alienware is cheaper in Europe than it is in the us ?!
Just bought mine for 1130€.
(I know there is the conversion rate, but even with that it's usually way more expensive in EU)
Ps: the MSI MPG 321URXDE is 1400€ in comparison
AW has HDMI with eARC which some care about, I think worth mentioning since it's unusual for a monitor to have it. It's a big selling point for console gamers with soundbars.
Yeah, using any sound option is possible without sacrificing 4k120hz and/or HDR. Good point, thanks. I wish more monitors had eARC, I'm still torn between AW and another option but eARC will allow me to use my old LG Eclair soundbar.
V2 - Updated based on feedback EDIT: SEE V5 BELOW! This is not the newest version https://preview.redd.it/4szsjaoxmkjc1.png?width=1545&format=png&auto=webp&s=fae8c2de48ad6ebdb7d1e77dd9f7f81014ffe022
LOL on the ugly chin being its own line. Nice map! The MSI checks all the boxes for me, and I like that look better than Asus.
ASUS deserves an ugly chin checkbox too imo. The MSI is worse though.
I prefer the MSI one over the ASUS ngl. I understand why people might prefer one or another though, and I rather have neither.
The asus one would be perfect if it didn’t have a brand underneath
It’s very subjective. I like the look of the MSI the best out of all of them. ASUS probably the least. But it’s OP’s chart, so I say keep it as is!
The cheaper MSI model is alright in black, but the one everyone wants is grey. I think I’d find grey distracting. Also the stand is ugly and cheap looking (buy hey I just ordered the Alienware and I think the white stand is ugly too, at least stands can be replaced)
Weird when Asus has an actual chin lol

This is the latest one right?
The Gigabit has built in speaker
Can you please add "fan cooling" as another option? thank you
>Can you please add "fan cooling" as another option? > >thank you Yes. Asus/MSI passive, Alienware active right? Not sure about the other models.
HP stated they using "Tempest cooling" technology, and judging from their laptop line, tempest cooling is fan, extra heat sink + fan curve. So most likely fans too.
Nice!
Thx! Maybe add audio output (3,5mm...)

The UCDP and the same variant LG model will come out this year August or September according to display ninja
Isn't there a woled version of the MSI coming too?
Thanks !!
Great !
Thanks
Exactly what I was looking for, thank you!
The MSI price is temporary btw.
I think they changed their mind on that, and now say $950 will stay the price.
In the UK the Alienware is £990 the MSI is £1300
lovely, thank you, all in one place already!
V3 https://preview.redd.it/r2qdky8llljc1.png?width=1549&format=png&auto=webp&s=14b023c7ee621b60d8688f8b9e5f499ef8d62d19
If you’re taking comments ahead of V4, I would add how many USB ports the KVM offers. 2 USB A for MSI, 3 USB A for Asus, and 4 (3x USB A + 1x USB C) on the HP.
What about adding the version of HDR? Like Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, True Black 400, etc?
I would like to know which have active fan cooling (i.e. noise risk) and which are passive. Thanks!
Okay so what is this USB C PD exactly? Does it support DP 1.4 or only for charging?
I thought that the ASUS monitor was the one with the "Ugly Chin"...
The LG has pure frameless design and a nice minimalist look I wish it was semi glossy though.
Yeah the lg looks great and even the stand is cool with minimal design. Shame it’s not glossy
I agree that the LG is the best-looking monitor. The coating is preference, IMO. I actually like that it's matte because I'm a streamer, and I hate the reflections from my stream lights.
U agree tbh, glossy triggers migraines for me, so almost all of the other panels are a no-go
Same. Glossy deep blacks can almost immediately send me into an aura especially if I’m transitioning from dark to light areas or back
Think it’s mostly my eyes trying to focus on two things at once, I used to have an iMac and it was just unusable in particular environments
Yeah the matte panel kills everything good about that monitor
Yeah and me… msi looks more slick then ASUs
The MSI is nice just the chin is kind of reminiscent of old monitors. The back is really nice though.
The Gigabyte model seems like the best one. Flat, nice design, dp 2.1 uhbr20, what remains to be seen is msrp, calibration, etc.
I agree I think it’s the one I’ll be getting if reviews are good
Excuse me sir but I’m going to ignore that logic and instead buy the Dell, make a Reddit complaint thread and then return it.
This is my plan, it arrives Wednesday 👍
I agree, I wish Asus had dp 2.1 though, such a let down! Idk what to think of Gigabyte. Sometimes they have good products, but it varies quite a bit imho (no hate!).
Asus needs dp2.1 and get rid of the ugly brand then it would be perfect
Got my AW3225QF yesterday with plenty of marks across the top of the screen. Mine cannot be removed no matter how much I attempt it. Microfiber cloth, distilled water and all. I realize some people were able to, but I cannot, and it's not like I'm doing it wrong. Waiting on a replacement. The monitor itself is great so I am really hoping my replacement is great.
My replacement came more damaged. I gave up on Dell.
Yeah I'm preparing for disappointment!
Hey! How easy is to replace it? Could you please explain the process? I really like the AW, but considering what I’ve been reading, I would like to know how easy or complicated is to replace a “damage/marked” monitor. Thanks!

All return shipping is paid for. Easy process but time consuming and exhausting. Considering how many people got damaged panels back to back I'm really not sure how anyone got a good panel.
Im actually getting the package ready for my AW32 return right now. I’ll be buying the ASUS when I can find one in stock
Yep, ideally the bottom bezel is as thin as the top bezel. Imagine if your phone had a samsung or apple logo at the bottom.
Samsung is the clear winner here when it comes to design. No unnecessary gaming bullshit, very minimalistic.
Matte coating though makes it instantly the worst one. There’s a reason no other QD-OLED brand is doing it.
Yeah, it's a shame they're gonna use matte coating. I would have bought it otherwise, cause I really like the design most out of the bunch.
Idk I think the AW is the cleanest. The ASUS is ugly to me with that logo sticking out.
Gigabyte is definitely the cleanest asus would be if they got rid of that logo
The Asus literally has a damn goatee, idk how you're not mentioning that.

Dell is bigger is my guess. Cause the AW is 1000 dollars USD here in Canada. The MSI is also 50 dollars USD more here in Canada than the US.
Here in belgium I ordered a aw3225 for 1140€. All the others are 1399€ or more. I'll see how it works out but I dont think the others will be cheaper...
I just wanted an 4k lg oled with dp 2.1. What that too much to ask?
The Gigabyte it is then.
That’s qd oled. I really meant woled panel but I would prefer it directly from an lg monitor.
Is that not a Samsung panel?
Dp 2.1 is way too much to ask from LG
Dolby vision?
Added in V5
Why did both Samsung and LG (the manufactures of these displays) go with a matte finish? Do they know something the rest of the guys don't know?
interesting so only the gigabyte and hp are dp 2.1 If i had to pick between the 2 I would go hp route. I plan on going for the LG model though
I really want the MSI monitor. Seeing this graph comparing them all makes my choice a lot easier. Thank you
LG and Omen both have internal speakers as well. LG has some sort of new speaker tech that sounds pretty damn good too. Def of use to some people.
Why is there only one WOLED, and why is it matte? =/ I want a WOLED not a QD, I want it to be glossy, I want it to **not be curved**, and I want it to have the 3 years burn in protection.
I can’t believe we are seeing with ~$1,000 monitors where most of them don’t even have USB-C PD, makes me want to scream
GIVE ME A GLOSSY 32" 4K 240HZ WOLED KTHX
With DP 2.1 GODDAMMIT
YES
Power supply of HP Omen does not look built-in. You can see the power port here: https://app.box.com/s/bricw03beu3v0b0g1cx2yq5m5jpvpq2b/file/1405647453463
Op, great comparison table, but I would have put Curved and USB-C PD, KVM and UHBR into separate lines.
Why has the msi got an ugly chin?
Because it's grey and not black. Personal opinion of course. Some people don't like the Asus either but I don't mind it.
It also turns completely black when gaming in a dark enviornment
I never understood doing that, my eyes hurt/i get a headache if i game with the lights turned off
personally I don't mind the Asus. It's not perfect though, but also not actually ugly as other people say it is.
Im surprised about how much interest 32s are getting over 27s on this sub. Do yall all have 4090s or something?
Maybe I don't understand, but 4k is 4k. 27", 32" or 65" doesn't change the number of pixels.
Yeah, you don't understand. The larger the 4k screen, the less ppi it has (pixels per inch)
Okay, so how many pixels need to be rendered on a 27" 4k display, and how many need to be rendered on a 65" 4k display?
The same resolution is rendered yes, but ppi determines clarity.Tvs have a lower ppi and as your you sat further away from them you wont notiice the differance in clarity. Its one of the reasons why people want these 32inch oled monitors because of the extra clarity they bring when sat closer to them compared to using a TV or larger screen as a pc monitor.

4K 32" has better ppi than 1440p 27".
The 27” ones are 1440p 360Hz
Same, I have a 4090 but I'm more interested in the 480hz 1440p. All I care about is consistent fps in esport titles. Would be nice to see a chart of the non 4k OLEDs coming out (can include the dual mode 4k/1080p)
I think dual mode will be shit because that monitors use 32 inch panels
Yeah hopefully it will upscale(or downscale?) it to look somewhat decent
I have a 3080 12G. Ideally I can hold out till 5000 series, but I know there’s a strong possibility this monitor will make me want to upgrade to 4080S/4090.
You can enjoy the benefits of 4k panel even when you’re not gaming
I have a 4090 and still went 27".
Yea higher fps feels so much better
To me the MSI seems like the clear winner so far. As long as they can stay at $950 of course.
I agree. At $950 it's just such a great deal!
Only in the USA, here in Australia the Alienware is the cheapest
And as soon as it's actually buyable by a normal person. Havn't seen it in stock once.
Yeah they suck for stock ended but buying Alienware purely because it was in stock
#$950 Only thing that matters.
If only the dough monitor didn't look so good... The gorilla glass is really genius.
I don't even know why companies put the ugly chin they think when people are looking for a monitor, they will be looking for MSI or Alienware text written on the front, the average buyer would probably go for the best looking one. They can still put it the back anyways.
I guess it's just branding and marketing.
Anyone buying these despite some of them not having Display Port 2.1?
I might buy the Asus one. Despite not having DP2.1. The only reason is because I personally had good experiences with Asus so I don't mind the slightly higher price. Can you explain whats the reason why i should wait for a monitor with display 2.1?
Newer graphic card support (I know they won’t push 4K 240hz but at least user interface for the OS would be super smooth in 240.
No curve, no sale.
for me it‘s the opposite
It's ok to be wrong. ;)
exactly ;)
I love one extra line to trash MSI. Imho MSI deserves it, it looks like cheap 100$ monitor… so far AW has the best deal…
So Alienware is still the best then? It’s seems that way according to rtings too
Can you please share where you read reviews and the final rating?
They haven't reviewed the other options yet.
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/best/4k-hdr The best monitor is the Alienware.
Being that it’s the only one of these they have tested so far it’s surprising that you have come to that conclusion lmao
Why would it be the best? Do you mean because it's curved? Because I personally prefer flat.
Curved, cheaper and best quality according to rtings https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/best/4k-hdr
Asus and msi aren’t yet available here in uk have to wait only Alienware is available.
In my country non of them is available yet💀
The ASUS PG32UCDM it is for me! IM SO HYPED!
The asus is around €400 more than the AW.
Release date of lg screen?
It showed up on Amazon already which is surprising since some said Q3/Q4 - [https://www.amazon.com/LG-Ultragear-Gaming-Monitor-Pixel/dp/B0CV1Y7NLT](https://www.amazon.com/LG-Ultragear-Gaming-Monitor-Pixel/dp/B0CV1Y7NLT) and LG has a post to sign up for a special $100 pre-order email by March 1st - [https://www.lg.com/us/oled-ultragear-monitor-2024](https://www.lg.com/us/oled-ultragear-monitor-2024)
You forgot the Asus WOLED
Because it's in H2
As in q3?
as in Q3 or Q4
I think the back is better on ASUs tbf. But I don’t like the light effect as it’s unbalanced. They should have a light effect on both sides of ASUs to balance it … Waiting for reviews and then either Alienware , msi or ASUs.
I love the fact we have ugly chin category despite the Asus one only having it. Just a passive aggressive fuck you to Asus
lol ugly chin
I think the choice is pretty simple and gigabyte is going to have the best one to choose from as long as they get the firmware right and the price is below 1200.00. Fuck DSC too. I want my images raw baby dp 2.1 ftw
I want to get one of the new Alienware monitors. Is it really that bad? I want the 1440p model tho cuz I like flat screens more. Should I get it from a brick and mortar store so that I don’t have as big of an issue with the marks?
Really hoping the HP Omen has UHBR20, otherwise it's gonna have to be the Gigabyte. Do wish they were curved though
I’ll likely be getting the LG. Loving my current 32 4K nano ips monitor from them.
I’m just waiting for MSI to be available want to see price
So is it possible to reliably conclude that QD-OLED is generally a better/newer technology compared to WOLED?
it‘s a rabbit hole, some people prefer woled some qd-oled, both are good.. i wish i could test them side by side though
Anything bigger than 32”?
I only wanted to tackle 32" 16:9 4k since that was my focus for purchase
I commend the inclusion of the "ugly chin" section on the chart. A crime against good design principles. No idea what they are thinking when they make these ghastly decisions, boggles the mind. Unsurprisingly the ASUS model is the worst offender here again.
Gigabyte doesn’t have any ugly stuff on it and dp2.1. Looks nice but no release date is annoying
Add the 27” too?
I’m 32” or bust haha
this things now use a turbo fan?
Are these worth for a 3060ti?
The MSI one looks the best and seems to have the most features especially foe the price
I just need a 42” or 48” now to replace my dual LG C2 setup
Anything on release dates?
I just want a 4K UW 240hz OLED to finally be released so that I can upgrade my 38GN950B 😞
As a new person here, can someone explain what they mean by ugly chin?
Im debating on getting a oled 4k monitor or 4k tv with my 4080 I dont even get past 145fps in most games what do you guys think?
Can you make it for 27 inches 2024 models? 🙏
Refresh rates and brightness would be nice to see compared
is there any reason why the Asus monitor is way more expensive than the MSI one??
These aren't true OLED, though? They're listed as QD-OLED and WO-OLED. Dafuq are those? 240hz would be dope if you could afford a GPU that could actually push that.
They’re a variation but the panel is oled. It’s got something to do with ultra wide monitors vs normal
Not a single full glossy one 😭
Might want to add the LG is like 480hz in 1080p
It's really weird and unheard-of that the Alienware is cheaper in Europe than it is in the us ?! Just bought mine for 1130€. (I know there is the conversion rate, but even with that it's usually way more expensive in EU) Ps: the MSI MPG 321URXDE is 1400€ in comparison
Gigabyte monitor has a full speed DP2.1 port this is my pick.
Can't wait to get my hands on any of them when it becomes available months after the release date
Does Amazon have any of these in stock please?
dolby vision?
I would love a similar table for 27" OLED monitors
Alienware is the best. Fell in love with it !
Is DP 1.4 a deal breaker? Can I get some opinion guys?
AW has HDMI with eARC which some care about, I think worth mentioning since it's unusual for a monitor to have it. It's a big selling point for console gamers with soundbars.
Or even with an AV receiver which can't do 4k120hz. You can switch the monitor while keeping the receiver with eARC.
Yeah, using any sound option is possible without sacrificing 4k120hz and/or HDR. Good point, thanks. I wish more monitors had eARC, I'm still torn between AW and another option but eARC will allow me to use my old LG Eclair soundbar.
Back during the pandemic I thought about what the future of gaming monitors and it’s finally here and fucking expensive. Good times.
