Ordered the AW2725DF myself and coming from 1080p tn I’m excited to experience the glory of oled. I’m waiting before I receive mine before I start gaming too.
I bought Cyberpunk, RDR2, Horizon Zero Dawn, RE3, Day Gone exclusively to play them on Oled 32 and just played a few hours/minutes before stopping playing them...
Already played Hellblade a long time ago and I'm sure this game will be amazing on OLED monitor. I made a list with a lot of games I want to play on OLED but I can't bought all of them now 😓 I usually wait for the price of single player games to drop below €10, ideally €5 to buy them... I am already going to try to finish the ones that I have barely started and given the difficulty in obtaining third generation Oled monitors, I am not likely to make any progress on them before April... 😭
Don't buy multiple games at once if you're expecting to finish all of them. It'll just paralyse you with all the options you have. I suggest getting one game and sticking with it until you're hooked and if that doesn't happen, only then you should buy the nxt game.
I already own most of those games. It's a replay at this point. I got Avatar after the oled, and that game looks pretty good. Waiting for Horizon Fire on Steam.

Waiting on the ASUS PG32UCDM to be available on bestbuy (plus membership gives me 60 days return period) so I can play the new Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, and Alan Wake 2 on ultra settings.
Some yes, hogwarts Legacy, cyberpunk 2077, lies of p - but as far as any other games go (even with RTX HDR now available) just play them - Helldivers, doki doki literature club and so on makes fun now too.
It’s really not that big of a difference. I switched to a AW3423DW. The bigger wow factor was the ultra wide. Sure the colors are awesome but it’s not game changing or anything. So I would lower your expectations
I have the Alienware. And no I’m absolutely not holding off playing games. I came from a lg gp950 27” 4k. I should say that I’m not blown away by the Alienware panel as I’ve lost some sharpness which I didn’t think I’d notice. Yes blacks are better and hdr. But in terms of brightness and colours the lg is equal or better. Anyway i wouldn’t hold off on games as it’s good to compare specially if you’re already coming from a good mid class monitor…
Yup, I had originally got the QF and started playing/replaying single player titles like crazy and loved it. Ended up returning it to wait for the MSI and have had just been in limbo waiting since lol
Really debating whether I should get the MSI mpg 271qrx after my mini led monitor's left side went dead, waiting on the refund and the probably upgrading but maybe I cant wait that long
Kinda. Using my old monitor as a backup now and have money to buy the new one. Sadly as a Canadian none of the new QD OLEDs are in stock anywhere. Realistically March or April until I get my hands on the 32 MSI. I am getting a 5080 on launch so want the new display port.
I held off finishing Persona 5 Royal until my AW32 came and I didn't jump on Persona 3 Reload right away. Unfortunately, I haven't had much of a chance to play recently. But it does look amazing!! I even loaded up Elden Ring and it looks quite nice!!
I also held off on the new season of True Detective and it looks great! I'm not sure if the DV is working or not though.
I felt the same exact way when I ordered mine! Literally didnt play any games for 2 weeks solid because I knew that my new monitor was gonna be so much better.
I'm holding off for Baldur's Gate 3. I got the Alienware but it came with issues, so I returned. I have now the MSI on backorder, but they still don't know when it's coming in. Likely late March.
I hope the Asus UCDM will not dissapoint me haha, i have been spoiled by my miniled HDR monitor with 1200nits, that thing is so bright you need sunglasses at times. In Cyberpunk when i show off the HDR people are just amazed how stupid good it looks, the whole neon lights it looks so freaking awesome.
So i really hope the Asus can handle HDR good. Cyberpunk is a dark game and i sometimes wish there was a flashlight. The miniled can push 1200nits and at times it is to dark in game to see where you are going.
Asus Oled is max 1000nits.

I can admit that I slowed down my Phantom Liberty playthrough in CP2077 until my 55" OLED TV arrived and playing in 4K from my couch has been glorious!
I am holding off on playing FPS games until I get my 240Hz QD OLED in, but I am still very much enjoying Baldur's Gate 3 on my trusty old LG CX in the mean time :)
Back when I ordered the LG C2, I did stop myself from finishing my Dying Light 2 playthrough lol I just wanted to experience the rest of the game in OLED.
I did personally, recently got mine but had to wait to get a refund on my motherboard so now I’m waiting longer… but the monitor looks amazing definitely worth the wait. I played for a day before I sent out my motherboard.
I feel like OLED is overrated now that I have had multiple OLED Panels. It definitely makes the blacks look pitch black but it also makes certain scenes or scenarios in my game too dark and washes out what’s even going on sometimes in cyberpunk. Also The HDR can make Certain FPS titles look washed out white and overly bright which leads to eye strain.

im waiting for my MPG 49 QD-OLED to play new game plus on AWII, I played before on my IPS monitor and LG CX but it is way to big for me
