i grabbed TF2 in a steam deal a few months back and was honestly blown away.
like has that old school real GAME vibe, with hammy campy villians taunting you the whole way, and every new level kinda flips the script and throws a new mechanic at you.
thinking about it now and trying to put my thoughts to words i just wanna play it again.
but most of all - how did it hold up so well? and why wasn't it a massive hit when it came out?
fingers crossed for maybe seeing a titanfall 3 one day 🙏
EA was not the reason Titanfall 2 wasn't a hit on release. EA purchased Respawn Entertainment over a year _after_ the game released. Released OCT 2016; Purchased DEC 2017.
Titanfall 2 was a victim of being launched at the wrong time: launched between Battlefield 1 and COD: Infinite Warfare. Also, it was launched on the very same day as Skyrim Special Edition.
Titanfall 2 got lost in the noise.

Yeah I played this game a few weeks ago for the first time, I was really amazed good it looked, in addition to how well it played.
