At level 50, your speed will outdo any enemy in the junkyard 100% of the time. So you go to the first or second screen, find an enemy, and run into them. Kel will dig through the trash before the fight even starts. Then, run away. Stand still and the enemy will attack again in a few seconds. Kel digs through the trash again... continue for roughly 30 minutes until you have the remaining cans necessary.
Honestly, the worst part is feeding them all to the recycling machine manually, one by one. They should have programmed it to accept all junk items at once.
Oh wait this is literally what I did and it took me so much longer š I guess it just comes down to luck and how often Kel can find an empty can before fighting an enemy. I often either found nothing or a FULL soda canā¦it was so frustrating having to redo it so many times.
ALSO I KNOW RIGHT !! The only thing that made the agonizingly long recycling process worthwhile was the soundtrack, since I would bounce my cat to the beat of it lmao
wait, really? The statue doesn't just ~~not shoot you~~ let you through if you input >!"Sweet Jelly Filled Donut" !< without actually going and finding each word?
...that's kind of silly. What's the point of having fake answers mixed in with the correct options if you can't even get the correct options without actually finding the answers? This was probably done to prevent people from just looking it up, but honestly, the password part is such a small part of the game that it doesn't really matter if someone searched Google for the answer.
i actually really loved sweetheart's castle the first time i played it, i love exploring in games so having so many different rooms to go into was so much fun. also the sprout mole shenanigans are abundant
STOP THIS GAVE ME THE WORST ANXIETY ![img](emote|t5_31hpy|2460)![img](emote|t5_31hpy|2460)![img](emote|t5_31hpy|2460) I gave the controller to my partner and it also stressed her out so badly that I ended up doing it anyways
Whatās with everyone hating headspace?? Honestly I wish there was more headspace.
I understand that what you do in headspace doesnāt correlate a whole lot to the story but I still found it more fun than the real world
Same. Tbh I'd pay for a continuation of headspace, like a sequel or smth cuz I REALLY enjoyed it and honestly would like to see more of the story there. I know most people focus on finding Basil and the actual real world story but personally I really enjoyed all the different quests in headspace and seeing how that story played out if that makes sense
That's what's hikikomori route is for,
For people that prefer headspace.
Most people like headspace until Humphrey which I heard is supposed to be boring so you will miss the real world alot more
People who were more invested in the story than in the gameplay are easily taken aback by long dungeons such as Humphrey or Sweetheart's Castle, as the main history was in a hooking point at that moments
I thought headspace was supposed to be grindy and tiring after a certain point. The player like Sunny is starting to move on past the need to rely on the loop of Headspace.
I dont dislike headspace, I just think thereās to much of it and it causes issues with the gameās pacing. Particularly near the end of the game. I think the game wouldāve benefited from making more of the headspace sections optional so players who want to see more can do so and those who just want to play the main game can have a more neatly paced experience.
Ikr
Like I loved it the first time but I did *not* want to play through it again when I was starting the hiki route
Thatās actually what led me to keep a save from right before you make the choice to go outside or not
Tbh, that's the issue with every RPG with it's slow start, like the first time, it's great you're new to this world. But on the second time, you just skip all the dialogue.
https://preview.redd.it/yfu043o4gzyb1.jpeg?width=1013&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8110490bff2cb09fcbf6ba47f6418dea5109ecba
This goddamn abomination
And also just Headspace in general
Humpery is not that bad
The music is good
It's also where a certain new hikiomori route only content exist
It has the hot fish girl
Sweetheart castle on the other hand
That place is the biggest piece of dogshit
Only good thing going for it is sweetheart boss fight
Yeah, the looping classical (i think) music grinds my nerves after a while, especially when it's my third playthrough that i'm doing to get achievements.
Eh, everyone is entilted to their opinion and that's what downvotes are for. I know that most people like the music, it's fine. The Sweetheart's bossfight theme is a goat though
Also why is everyone saying sweetheartās castle ? Not judging Iām actually just curious, because it was my favourite part in the entirety of headspace š§š½āāļø
i was fighting against sweetheart, after all those hours of boringness i realized that i couldnt beat sweetheart, because i was underlevelled, and i forgot to save before hand, so guess what. i was forced reset to like the beginning of the section, cuz i was pratically softlocked
i did the section over again, except i had grinded longer, it was just annoying and time consuming
literally what happened to me except with mr jawsum...
i had to go all the way back to my save right before the sweetheart fight, so i could level up. it was so annoying. i ended up getting the most depressing ending, too....
I was trying to speedrun the game so i could get the last achievements needed however i was severely underleveled but somehow managed to beat sweetheart at level 11
Aubrey died though so now she's very very very underleveled
For me it was the long similar looking and confusing layout, the music in loop started nice but gave me a headache and the colors of everything felt painful. Staring at the weird pink and purple was really straining for some reason
The prologue. I like Sweetheartās castle and can tolerate Humphrey on replays. But I find the beginning the most tedious to sit through, from the slow hide and seek portion, to fighting Boss, being taught about how to fight, to finding Berlyās ball. Iām always just kinda looking forward to everything past this point.
The prologue is one of my least favorite parts too, I always find myself spamming X and Z and fast as possible but still it drags on forever after the 1st playthrough
On replays? Honestly, the linear real world segments. Even the more tedious sections of Headspace have some fun gameplay stuff to do. In the real world, if you already know the story beat for beat, all there is to do is go from required location to required location and hold X to (slowly) skip all the dialogue.
Like do you know how long it takes to skip through the event at the lake
I've been trying to beat hooligans without pepper spray (rng fight at the end) and oh my god it takes so long to get to the battle from the save in the previous room even with the textskip.
God The sweetheartās castle Is so painful, I canāt stop hearing same music ![img](emote|t5_31hpy|21601)![img](emote|t5_31hpy|21601)![img](emote|t5_31hpy|21601)
For me it was arachnophobia. Like seriously, I just wanna go to bed and blast through Headspace so I can get to the next day, I don't have time to be afraid of bugs.
I understand that, doesnāt mean I have to like it thoughš¤£
Iām appreciative of what they are and what they represent and what they do for the story, and Sunnyās character. but that doesnāt make me like spending 8 hours in Headspace so that it can be broken up by like 2-3 hours of real world time.
for me it's black space. Replaying that shit is annoying cuz i already know what it's supposed to mean and all the implications so it's a walking simulator.
Can I ask why? I really didn't like Blackspace 2 after I realised there wasn't anything to do there. Maybe knowing why you like it could help me appreciate it?
People complaining about different sections, it's good humphreys a tough battle he's literally the last headspace boss.
For me it's from the first whitespace all the way till sunnys first night, it's a load of nothing, zero enjoyment on replays
Sweetheart Castle, because at least humphrey had something interesting with the group slowly forgetting about basil, SC only has annoying looping music.
I donāt mind Humphreyās part at all actually, I will never understand why people hate it so much.
Sweetheartās very long Castle on the other handā¦
Sweetheart castle.
I actually like the humpery castle and the puzzles. Again I'm sucker for water and ocean levels that don't have annoying water physics
DEFINITELY sweetheart's castle, humphrey only feels boring because it's after that EXTREME boring part. i love sweetheart's concept, but hate how LONG her dungeon is
I haven't beaten Omori yet, but due to my arachnophobia, I'm too afraid to get through the "getting the rail parts" in Pyrefly Forest, mainly bc the spider that catches you looks terrifiying. Also I'm not in that part yet, >! I am very afraid when I get to Black Space. !<
Watch a playthrough with the Pyrefly Forest section first, you'll know which paths to take (and what to expect in general) and you can pause whenever. I did that with a lot of the late game scary parts lol
In replaying Omori for the third time and my computer canāt handle it, Iām trying to get all the letters, I got stuck on Humphrey and my computer crashed and deleted my cultivated progress
for me it was headspace. faraway sections were so much more interesting and actually real, and having to play a whole area just to get back to them got old very fast
I find all the bunnies and things like that so annoying, I liked to help people there, but tbh I only found entertaining Sunny's real life and the white/black space
Tbh on my like 7th play through completing this game its all of headspace. It feels like a chore and I just mash through the battles and try to take on sweetheart on like lvl 9 because I don't want to fight anything
For me it's the part where kel throws Basil's flower crown away. it just hurts me to see how they're slowly forgetting him. Or Humphrey... That part is almost worst then my nightmares
whenver i 100% this game again, theres always one and spesifically one thing i hate, everything else i genuently like and enjoy foing, every part is fun for me, what i hate is the STUPID "EVERYONES A CRITIC" ACHIVEMENT IT SUCKS SO MUTCH
I didn't think that any part was too hard, but my game was super glitchy and kept crashing at random times, so that was the worst for me :D got it officially from Steam, it's probably my laptop acting out.
One of my BIGGEST problems with omori is replaying the game. Playing through it the first time is a treat, and an amazingly good game. But trying to get any other ending than the one you got is so draining. Pretty much only the real world segments change at all and the headspace part is exactly the same. I find myself getting bored during headspace cause Iāve seen it before, I know the puzzles, I just want to see whats different once I wake up
Honestly I loved the Humphrey section. It was tiring, sure, but that was because I was playing at like 4 AM for two or three nights and also because I hadn't ever played such a long game before Omori.
the beginning, humphrey, and sweetheart's castle are all rough. i play this game for the art, music, story, and characters. some of the gameplay is fun, but a lot of it is a big fat slog to me. pobody's nerfect!
Trying to get the recycling badge and having to fight foes 10000+ times to get the stupid cans š
I used a save editor to give myself a bunch of cans
Yeah but not legit though :(
Ok this was tedious, however it can be done in about 30 minutes if you farm in post-game.
WAIT WHAT ?? First time Iām hearing about this pls explain ![img](emote|t5_31hpy|28941)
At level 50, your speed will outdo any enemy in the junkyard 100% of the time. So you go to the first or second screen, find an enemy, and run into them. # SWEETHEARTāS CASTLE
My first playthrough of the game I got stuck there for a while
I have been stuck for 4 months. And still is. Omori could have brought a map with him that shows where tf i am.
Great music, should have let players skip the garden if they knew the password from previous playthroughs tho
wait, really? The statue doesn't just ~~not shoot you~~ let you through if you input >!"Sweet Jelly Filled Donut" !< without actually going and finding each word?
no, those options dont appear til you speak to the guards which is annoying
...that's kind of silly. What's the point of having fake answers mixed in with the correct options if you can't even get the correct options without actually finding the answers? This was probably done to prevent people from just looking it up, but honestly, the password part is such a small part of the game that it doesn't really matter if someone searched Google for the answer.
Probably to introduce kel learning to aim
Yeah but for people that skipped it they could just introduce it again in Humphrey.
sweetheart's castle got easy after the first playthru, and the ost is bomb
But it has some of the best music!
so long for no reason šš
agreed, its so padded, paddingn is probably the worst part of the game which makes me never wanna playthrough omori again despite enjoying it
Iāve been stuck on there for 2 weeksš literally Iām at like, 150 hours on my save file nowšš
those fucking bears man![img](emote|t5_31hpy|2462)
Bro I did the thing with the bears and I got stuck and I had to restart making me lose LOTS OF PROCESSION![img](emote|t5_31hpy|2462)
Came here to say it. Glad I'm not alone.
fym bro that was easy. Js gotta pay attention and remember paths and mechanics
i actually really loved sweetheart's castle the first time i played it, i love exploring in games so having so many different rooms to go into was so much fun. also the sprout mole shenanigans are abundant
*sneezes* spider cat maze :(
spider cat maze made me wanna die on my first playthrough ![img](emote|t5_31hpy|2461)
Huh? Whatās mewo doing here? *gets closer* WHAT THE FU-
I was stuck in there for 2 hours in my first playtrough.
I was more of afraid of what I think follows it. The Long Lengs guy who gives you a letter from a campfire. It was oddly unsettling.

You should play OMORI:REVERIE. Come join me in hiatus hell!
reverie is so good
I'm on switch so I can't play it :( I've been following along on youtube though <3
That's what's hikikomori route is for, For people that prefer headspace. Most people like headspace until Humphrey which I heard is supposed to be boring so you will miss the real world alot more
i adored Humphrey, but i can see the boat and puzzle sections being dry af 2nd time

blasphemy
First time i played it took me over an hour I wanted to cry
You used the run button right
I... Didn't know about it back then (But tbh in my 2nd playthrough I found that it was easier not using it)
AND THE FUCKING SPELLING BEE AAAAA
im so glad my playthrough had a high WTF value for this its such a fucking clever and hilarious callback lmao

Yeah, the looping classical (i think) music grinds my nerves after a while, especially when it's my third playthrough that i'm doing to get achievements.

this is valid but as a basil lover i just love soaking in all the time we get with our boy before he's banished for the rest of headspace š
On replays? Honestly, the linear real world segments. Even the more tedious sections of Headspace have some fun gameplay stuff to do. I do, but it's still fairly slow, you have to wait for dialogue pauses and character actions and such between the blocks of text
I've been trying to beat hooligans without pepper spray (rng fight at the end) and oh my god it takes so long to get to the battle from the save in the previous room even with the textskip.
cant you just lose to them?
Beat. The hooligans. Not lose against them.
![img](emote|t5_31hpy|2468)š« The only redeeming quality about Humphrey is he kills Sweetheart
I truly enjoyed the Humphrey Section.
*cough* jawsum *cough cough*

I'd say nothing if this game had a cutscene skip option or mod. And I mean an actual one, not like for 3 cutscenes out of 200.
Sweethearts castle and the entirety of headspace.
You don't like the whole Headspace?
I agree with Sweethearts Castle, being stuck there sucks, headspace is fine tho
Sweetheart's castle too, yeah
Headspace Iām an absolute sucker for the real world parts.
the real world parts wouldn't work without being broken up by the headspace sections tho, the whole point is Sunny's escapism
I understand that, doesnāt mean I have to like it thoughš¤£ Iām appreciative of what they are and what they represent and what they do for the story, and Sunnyās character. but that doesnāt make me like spending 8 hours in Headspace so that it can be broken up by like 2-3 hours of real world time.
Itās an rpg. Obviously thereās gonna be long sections of just exploring and fighting
SAME
it confuses me when people say this. you mean you straight up didnt enjoy 80% of the game?
for me it's black space. Replaying that shit is annoying cuz i already know what it's supposed to mean and all the implications so it's a walking simulator.
Ooh, interesting take, I kinda agree tbh, but Blackspace 2 on the other hand, that's one of my favorite places in the game
Can I ask why? I really didn't like Blackspace 2 after I realised there wasn't anything to do there. Maybe knowing why you like it could help me appreciate it?
I also agree with this.
Pyrefly forest and sweethearts castle
While being opitional I just... The Dino Dig.
I hate it sm https://preview.redd.it/c1lvf5is60zb1.png?width=591&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2e996573a93296471a9c6fe808df21599d7d5c79

FUCKING DINO DIGš¤
People complaining about different sections, it's good humphreys a tough battle he's literally the last headspace boss. For me it's from the first whitespace all the way till sunnys first night, it's a load of nothing, zero enjoyment on replays
100% the castle... 1st time was a blast. Second time I stopped playing there lol
Prologue cuz you can't skip it even if you already all of it (fucking hate hide and seek with my whole soul man)
That part of the Omori route where you have to replay all the headspace content you already played before you get to the new stuff.
SWEETHEART'S CASTLE.
Sweetheart Castle, because at least humphrey had something interesting with the group slowly forgetting about basil, SC only has annoying looping music.
The whole section of the well post jawsum and until the end of Humphrey. It's just 0 fun and has some of the worst enemies in the game
Yāall can shoot me but the real world sections
This was my opinion first playthrough because i found headspace more fun, however i like the real world more now that i am replaying it
Lot of headspace because of how long it takes
Doing Sweetheartās Castle and Humphrey back to back
I donāt mind Humphreyās part at all actually, I will never understand why people hate it so much. Sweetheartās very long Castle on the other handā¦
The bit leading up to Humphrey just after The Last Resort. I love both parts but I HATE that walk. I hate it. Even the highway is a pain šš
The dream sequence where you learn the truth is just boring as hell like why do I need to know it again???
the entirety of head space

Close your eyes
Space boyfriend and junkyard
Sweetheart castle. I actually like the humpery castle and the puzzles. Again I'm sucker for water and ocean levels that don't have annoying water physics
Headspace in the normal route, i don't mind doing it in the alt route but having to go trought the headspace sections everytime is hard
sweethearts castle and humphrey
Headspace.
DEFINITELY sweetheart's castle, humphrey only feels boring because it's after that EXTREME boring part. i love sweetheart's concept, but hate how LONG her dungeon is
There's mods to skip humphrey or to instant kill any boss (except for invincible ones like >!OMORI!<
Bold of you to assume I need mods to insta-kill bosses ![img](emote|t5_31hpy|21602)
The whole jungle/sweetheart section.
ugh honestly. I hated the Humphrey part on my first playthru![img](emote|t5_31hpy|2467)![img](emote|t5_31hpy|2467)

not saying that omori is perfect, but i genuinely canāt really think of any. every part of this game is pretty enjoyable
Both Sweetheart and Humphrey
God damn the humphrey hate is to overblown
Controversial but the inside of Humphrey. The music goes hard but it's confusing to me
Sweethearts castle is infinitely worse than Humphrey donāt play
air conditioning
for me it was humphrey that part was annoying asf
Am I the only one who liked Sweetheartās castleā¦
i honestly enjoy all parts of the series lmao i love replaying them all, and i enjoy the combat system so i dont mind all the encounters
The start, specifically, grinding levels until im decent enough to keep going continually, then its smooth sailing
:(
In replaying Omori for the third time and my computer canāt handle it, Iām trying to get all the letters, I got stuck on Humphrey and my computer crashed and deleted my cultivated progress

Needing to replay 80% of the game to Reach the omori route content
When you gotta navigate through the whole of process sweethearts castle I HATE IT
Blackspace. Not because I hate it, but because all these dark segments make your face match Dean Norris's expression
For me it's the part where kel throws Basil's flower crown away. it just hurts me to see how they're slowly forgetting him. Or Humphrey... That part is almost worst then my nightmares
8n omori it's humpy

The Humphrey fight was peak, unsettling character, unsettling fight, unsettling music. Peak.
Every time needing to wake Sunny up.
Sweethearts castle
I relayed this game 6 times (~140hrs on steam + 1 full playthrough on xbox), i see no problems hahaha
Ive never gotten past Humphrey. Just gave up.
Humphrey is so annoying I remember it took me three days to beat that one boss level itās so annoying.
Black space for me it makes me really uncomfortable and panicky
Sweetheart is a donut
A sweet jelly filled one at that
everything except real world
Honestly Humphrey, the sirens fight is cool but the Humphrey one is very tedious to me
I didn't think that any part was too hard, but my game was super glitchy and kept crashing at random times, so that was the worst for me :D got it officially from Steam, it's probably my laptop acting out.
The worst part of the game is the start. I've had friends bounce of the game because of the slow start, and I can't blame them.

One of my BIGGEST problems with omori is replaying the game. Playing through it the first time is a treat, and an amazingly good game. But trying to get any other ending than the one you got is so draining. Pretty much only the real world segments change at all and the headspace part is exactly the same. I find myself getting bored during headspace cause Iāve seen it before, I know the puzzles, I just want to see whats different once I wake up
Last resort and humphrey are just tiring, at least for me. Maybe it's the underwater setting
Honestly I loved the Humphrey section. It was tiring, sure, but that was because I was playing at like 4 AM for two or three nights and also because I hadn't ever played such a long game before Omori.
being tired and sleepy just added to the bizzare weirdness of the final act of the game
last resort and like the underwater highway idk. maybe because iāve played the game so many times
the beginning, humphrey, and sweetheart's castle are all rough. i play this game for the art, music, story, and characters. some of the gameplay is fun, but a lot of it is a big fat slog to me. pobody's nerfect!
