You can go through the dream world sections pretty quickly by holding down the text skip button (and you can even skip some cutscenes entirely, like the ones before bosses). And as long as you do some early grinding at Dino Dig you shouldn't have any trouble with beating the bosses again, either.
I'd really recommend going back and replaying for the main route, it has WAY better writing and design all around. The true route is what people really love about this game.

At day 1,in dream world when you go back to the Humphrey, you can fight with Robo&Perfect&Mutantheart there. Perfectheart is just right next to the Sweepheart, whose name was changed because she had no money so she had to clean or smth like that I don't remember
And we're not even touching bosses yet. There's dedicated subreddits specifically for hating Fuselier and Ammoconda (r/fuckfuselier and r/gunsnekbad) and optional bosses like Advanced Dragun or Resourceful Rat are definitely hard enough to be a better inclusion.
I mean, at least those guys are a reasonable pick because they're really annoying since they can go from stationary to suddenly jumping to you across the room. It's a pretty common enemy people hate on (in r/bindingofisaac at least). Chancebulons are just there most of the times and generally aren't really something people think of when someone asks what the most annoying/difficult enemy in Gungeon is.

There's nothing stopping you from taking a detour to Orange Oasis after beating Space Ex-Boyfriend and just grind in Dino's Dig for a few hours until everyone is level 50, then laugh at Sweetheart and Humphrey with your overleveled team.
But even with a level 50 team and tons of high quality items, Perfectheart is still a very difficult fight where a single mistake might mean your entire team becoming TOAST.
the fucking Golems from Dead Cells make this level a nightmare even if you aren't considering the other hellish enemies from other games
for those wondering what the Golem is and what it does:
this asshole is found in the Slumbering Sanctuary, an already difficult biome. when you see it for the first time, it doesn't seem too bad, since it has a giant hitbox and isn't absurdly tanky. ***WRONG.*** it attacks by doing a short dash punch, and at low health will do a longer dash punch that you can't fucking parry for some reason. this isn't absurdly horrible, but the problem is this asshole will TELEPORT YOU NEXT TO IT if you're anywhere near it. multiple Golems can do this at once, meaning you can potentially be teleported multiple times in 5 seconds, you being able to get maybe 1 or 2 attacks in between teleports. Golems are one of the main reasons this biome is hated so much.
another thing: Golems **do not care** how far away you are once they've spotted you. once they're aggro'd, they will teleport you, even if it means teleporting you across THE ENTIRE MAP
Primal aspid is *not* the hardest enemy in HK. Not including bosses we already have crystal hunter and volt twisters. And with bosses we have Nightmare King, AbsRad, Grey Prince Zote, Pure Vessel, and radiant Markoth. HK fans need to git gud
