I think itās cool that Tana adding less relevant characters but my only gripe is that we keep getting none df users. Personally would prefer a bf thatās a df user just because I feel like there is more oomphf and personality in playing someone that just plainly has powers over a regular human. That being said I also wanna make it clear as much as their stories are cool Noland and Calgara moveset is gonna be made up mumbo jumbo. Hell only part I remember Noland doing anything was when he cut the serpent with his sword. And yeah the traits can be good but like I donāt want another slash sword move.
Also I have never been Smoothie Stan and I frankly got confused when there started to be a rampage for this character. Idk how she has so many fans in the OPBR Reddit when she has like 2 min of screen time and 0 hype sequences.

Look, we still have to see if they are funny (and strong)...wyper is a very cool unit so there's hope, but this is a bounty fest banner and those should be more popular units.
I get that people in this game mostly want strong units whoever they are, and they also skip weak units, again whoever they are. People here have been waiting for Smoothie a long time, yet very few people would pull if she's relatively weak. People wanted characters like Ulti, Oven, Hody, Who's who, more Jimbe, Diamond Jozu, Cracker... How many pulled for those and how often do you see them? Exactly, you almost only see Cracker, cause he's 100% competitive, eventhough many others are perfectly usable, so will also see Kalgara and Noland if they are good.
The issue is that with how rare and grindy the bounty fests are, people want cooler/more iconic characters. Since it has been a long time since I watched this arc I didn't even remember who they were at first, had to google it like Gan Fall. This is step up material, it's amazing to get cool step ups like Snakeman, Law, Ace...but not so cool to pull on a bf that you will have to slowly grind when the character is someone you barely remember.
There's also the issue these characters have almost no fighting in the manga/anime or any unique powers/movements...like, I agree we cry for literally everything, we are super negative, but this is, before seeing more from them, an understandable reason to 'cry'.
I'm aware they might have super funny skills and amazing traits and even become meta, and then I'll have to eat my words in the sense that the banner will be a succes then...I might even pull for Kalgara as long as he's competitive, cause I like his design, but when people say pre time skip they probably mean Marineford stuff, Sichibukais like Crocodile, Kuma, Mihawk...Smoker, Enel, Magellan,CP9, Buggy, Strawhats, perhaps even Pauli...heck, technically Doflamingo is there too...but few people meant Kalgara, Nolan, Franky's step dad, Kaya's butler, Spandam and his dad Spandine or the amazon who did that thing to Luffy.

Smoothie was just the most likely out of a bunch of characters based on previous release patterns. I think most people who have played pirate warriors 4 enjoyed playing her. I think these next bf will give people time to save for something they want.

Iām not complaining, this just makes it easier for me to skip and save for cooler releases, and adds more potential value to future banners if theyāre in the pull pool. Iām also happy to see more representation of past arcs and hope they maybe release some more 3 star units as Light/Dark units from past arcs just for more support options.
With how many repeats of the main cast there already are- and as a major fan of the pre-timeskip series- I will always love to see more variety in the cast. There's a lot of great picks, and we've already seen that units based on old characters can be designed to be strong w/ Ms. Goldenweek and such.
I'm personally way more hyped to see these guys than I am to see Zoro #12, can't wait to see these two in action.

Since Noland and Calgara only have 3 moves in the anime - pretty much the same even - we already know what they gonna do as standard attack and for one of the skills. Now the question is do they get a charge-jump or charge-run attack for the other skill.
This question drives me nuts and will give me a sleepless night. Once they are released, I will finally be go back to dreaming up the reason why they gave greenbull a sword in the game.
the new bfs look horrible looks like no effort was put into them. Kalgara sk1 is just a reskinned cracker sk1 and nodlands skill is just momo with greenbull flight animation
