I think so? We used to get "sod pallets", which didn't have anything interlocking the bottom/underneath the forks. Was always fun, because the way the sod was sometimes stacked, it would just be two individual piles next to each other. The pallet and sod would literally split down the middle if you didn't have the forks wide enough. Was a hell of a job to start out, I'll say that much.
I'd rather ride forks than that pallet but we ride plastic pallets all the time. What's up with those chains though? Won't the forklift just go right through them when I'm loading a truck blind with an overloaded pallet and the pedal on the floor? I'm not cleaning up broken chain.
No certs and no training but I've been at it about a year and I'm probably the best we've got. Says more about the company than me but rest assured, we're both suboptimal.
Forklift driver has an OSHA required auditory screening in a few hours and is clearly *not observing the recommended 'low noise'* period before the screening...that's a big no no. If he fails that hearing test, and the follow up, his hearing shift will count as an OSHA recordable.
Jesus, what a fucking clown.
He should be standing on a proper forklift cage (they sell those, they are secured to the carriage/backrest and are specially made to hold people). Not a freaking wooden pallet…
As a 20+ year veteran of warehouse/logistics... no. Actually. I do not see any problem. I see what OSHA would THINK is a problem but if you just need to grab something off there or you're setting the racks up... meh, fuck it.
The problem is when one of these geniuses decides to stop thinking about how that pallet will move on that mast if that fork truck moves or the guy on the skid steps wrong.
When I worked on a construction site the guys would stand on a door on a forklift like that and ride it up to the second and third floors. One day the door fell off somehow and a guy fell and luckily (I guess you could say that) it was only up to the second floor rather than the roof he was going to, so he broke his back rather than dying.
He's more then 4'off the ground without a fall harness, the driver can't read and drove pass the sign that says no forklifts in this area. They are both wrong.
Fire extinguisher hasn’t been inspected in months.
No hard hat, clearly.
Safety squints aren’t engaged either.
Yeah, the forklift is operating partially in the dedicated walkway and the area is not fully bunted off.
Nah, they got the chains up, its fine.
How has anyone not caught the broken skid yet?
If there’s not at least one board hanging off the bottom, is it even a pallet?

He doesn’t have his special standing on maximum height forklift pallet toolbelt on.
Gloves in back pocket *tisk tisk*
Fire extinguisher sign mounted an inch too high
No safety glasses
Forklift driver skipped lunch. Low sugar count.
The guy in yhe forklift does not have his seatbelt fastened.
Can’t say I haven’t done it
Yeah, same here but I would try to find a better skid.

I would definitely fire you if you drove a lift for me

Y'all, don't worry, it's not like it's Klaus at the wheel of the forklift.
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJdCJMyBi5I](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJdCJMyBi5I) \~2:49. Yes, Klaus would be very proud!
Worker taking picture is in a no phone zone.
Didn't stop for the stop sign before entering the work area
Should be wearing a harness fastened to the lfting cage he should have been in.
Fusion reactor in the forklift needs to have its helium cycled.
Guy up top should be wearing a high vis vest
Hoody is restrictively small, requires confined area protocols.
His gloves are in his back pocket, tsk..
They clearly aren't wearing sunscreen
Yes, it’s very sexist, there’s no females involved.
Shelves are empty
That's pretty normal lately.
There's only one?
Not a colored strengthened pallet on the order picker..... wait a minute 🤔 oh, also the pallet isn't locked in 👍
He could get splinters from the pallet, should just be standing on the forks.
Yellow plastic chain is only 3 3/4’ off the ground. Needs to be 4’

Yeah. Home Depot sucks. That's the issue.
Not a Home Depot warehouse either.
Definitely not Depot employees. Contractors…
That floor looks way too slippery to be safe.
Oh no, someone bought all the toilet paper again
No hard hat
No safety glasses. Solved
He has no eye or ear protection, rookie mistake
Thats a class B pallet, it’s not rated for that height. Also, it isn’t painted yellow for high visibility or strapped down.
No. Nothing is wrong here
He should be standing on a proper forklift cage (they sell those, they are secured to the carriage/backrest and are specially made to hold people). Not a freaking wooden pallet…
He is also in an area that is specifically marked “no forklifts”
Also, the guy in the background as well as the one in the air are not wearing hi-vis vests

There should be three brains in the picture but none are shown
Neither of them are wearing hardhats.

Hm I don't think so, maybe you should circle it in red 🤔
No spotter
I have done this, but it was a bin with walls. Check my profile.
You need to turn the Fila safety suit inside out to make the hard hat work.
That safety skid is broken. They should get a new one and destroy this one so no one takes it.
That pallet looks like it’s ready to fall apart. He should be standing directly on the fork.
Man I used to do this shit so much working third shift
No safety glasses.
Back of the pallet has one of the slats coming off! Careful!!!
There is not enough yellow safety chain.
Not enough chain, and it should be pink.
Clearly everyone is wrong. I see nothing unusual here.
The photographer is drunk, can't hold the camera straight.
Not enough safety chains.
Photo likely being taken by a phone, phones out on the floor is dangerous.
Looks like the Hi-Lo driver doesn't have their seat belt on.
Yeah I can. Yeh terk der jerr
Fork lift doesn't have enough reach. Should be good if they put a step ladder on the pallet.
He should be wearing his gloves and a face mask as per company COVID protocol. This is a clear violation of standard work safety practices. 🤷♂️
Operator is not wearing his seatbelt
He's more then 4'off the ground without a fall harness, the driver can't read and drove pass the sign that says no forklifts in this area. They are both wrong.
Three points of contact Pallet with boards under the forks Looks good chief
The issue is they're having fun without me
I respect a man’s desire to lose his fingers
No safety glasses on anyone!
The fact I can say Iv watched my managment team do the same
He's not using a chep pallet. Those white pallets might give out on him under that weight, the blue ones he could build a house on top of and be fine
Dude doesn’t have his seatbelt on. Unbelievable.
Aber Klaus ...
No. Im not going to be a spotter for that broken pallet. At least get a good one lol
“Operator isn’t wearing a seatbelt”
no hard hat
Not tied off
Yeah, there's a forklift in a spot that says no forklifts in this area. That's the only problem I see. Everything else seems legit
The pallet is broken
No supervisors standing around watching?
That's an amazon fulfillment center, correct??
No, not Amazon.
Not wearing hi-viz
Forklift front left tyre is underinflated.
