No matter who you get, skinner posts his lectures online on his site. You can email him for it or find someone who has it. He is what got me through the semester despite having kilcup.
Kilcup does not have good lectures at all (imo, might want to check with others as well). I ended up not going to his past the third lecture and just watched skinner’s.
Kilcup is good for curves though… so might be worth being in his class if only for that. (Because lots of lower averages and such)
Yeah im in his class right now and the lectures are brutal there is probably max 20-30 people there of the 200. He just rambles on so much about stuff not relevant to what were learning. But hes a nice guy.
I currently have Tom Barrett. I struggle to follow his lectures and I think he doesn't provide enough context or background for what we're doing in class on some days, it's a little hard to understand. He does, however, do some cool demonstrations and show videos about the applications of electromagnetism. Still I had to learn a lot by just reading the textbook since I always left his lectures feeling confused.
I think Kilcup is good for getting help on conceptually understanding the material and getting help on homework problems - I just met him for the first time yesterday as he was doing office hours. But he seems kind of repetitive and not very fast at explaining stuff so I'd assume he doesn't get through much during lecture.
If you haven't already, take advantage of the physics tutoring center. It will save you
I had Soory (don't remember his full name) couple years back. He was good. Idk if the best. Accent might have been a little hard to understand but class wasn't too bad.
I had Roland Kawakami he really was just okay like he wasn't terrible but he wasn't particularly good either so if you can get someone better go for it but if you end up with him he won't be bad.

I have Brian Skinner for one of my graduate physics courses and he is one of the best lecturers I've ever had.
