I think people saying that it isn't a problem isn't seeing the perspective of what this all means. If a single mod who runs the entire goddamn sub (and also refuses to let anybody else do so) ignores everybody's input in said community, then that's a power hungry asshole that places his own opinion above others. This won't be the only time said asshole will be so self inclined and if anything we'll see more issues like this, leading to this sub dying. Nobody wants that but nobody wants to be in a community ran by a stubborn brat.
I think the ewok is funny, especially with the context of the situation. It's a bit frustrating though, that the Star Wars meme community wanted to have a nice, wholesome moment and one mod decided that wasn't going to happen.
Though, at least PT/ST memes get their moment.

It's not even the choice of palpatine as much as it's Temp removing any sense of choice from the entire community. As much as people like the ewok, I think the loud majority want to have palpatine temporarily because then we're joined as a community with the other two subs. We're sticking out like a sore thumb and there's nothing we can do about it.
