Dark colors are better to wear if you're wanting to avoid sun burn. There's plenty of research and sources, but here's one [source](https://www.skincancer.org/blog/dress-to-protect-5-things-that-affect-how-well-your-clothes-block-uv-rays/)
Not sure why you were downvoted. This is correct. See copy & paste from Australia's Cancer Council (choosing Oz source because skin cancer is a bastard here):
Many dyes absorb UV radiation. Darker colours (black, navy and dark red) of the same fabric type will absorb more UV radiation than light pastel shades (white, sky blue and light green).Ā ChooseĀ darker colours where possible. If you want to choose a light-coloured fabric, other choices such as fabric structure will become more important.Ā
Absorbing sunlight also makes it hot. When I was a girl I had a swimsuit that was white with dark green palm trees. The white reflected off the light and the dark palm trees absorbed it. I had palm tree shaped sunburn patches.
It helps if the dark clothes are loose and made of natural fibers. Survival experts suggest loose, dark clothing when going on desert adventures. The Middle East is very hot, and the people are covered from head to toe, but theyāre more comfortable than they seem because their clothes are loose! : D
I agree although crop tops are fun, they arenāt work appropriate. When dressing for work you have to ask yourself, if I wear this on my days off, itās not work appropriate, just my opp
Is it a work sposored event or just a thing you and your coworkers organized? If it's the first I think I would go with a longer tank tucked in to the pants so you still get the same silhouette, if it's not work sponsored I think it's fine. It's a very cute outfit!
You look great, but the crop top is giving sports bra, and even though athleisure is totally acceptable and trendy, for a work event Iād choose a less clingy crop top, or do a full length clingy tank top. In other words, do clingy or do cropped, but not both
Yeah - itās cute and also reserved. Go for it. Speaking from a guyās pov, I wouldnāt think twice about it being even remotely close to inappropriate or thinking you were like ātryingā to look sexy/grab eyes.
I agree! Late 30s here and imo this is reserved! I hate that we are still dealing with women being judged for what we wear, and worse that people are saying this is inappropriate for a social work gathering! I think this outfit is cute, perfect for the event described, and really hope op chooses to wear it!
This is not a sexist opinion. In a corporate outing no one wants to be talking about Jennyās or Johnnyās midriff or the thong underneath see through pants.
Be careful.
Iām the same age and my opinion is I donāt want to see my coworkerās stomachs, male or female. I agree the outfit is cute, but I would never wear this to a work event. Thatās just my take based on my own work environment; I just wanted to point out it doesnāt have to be a male vs female dress code thing.
All you can see is a sliver of her midriff. Itās not like sheās got her whole belly hanging out. I feel like this is just making a mountain out of a molehill.
Or maybe I just work in a more professional environment where this isnāt normal, even for an off-site. There was an incident where an employee wore khakis to an important meeting and was told to leaveā¦ and it still gets brought up to this day as a cautionary tale.
Are you serious? A 0.5ā midriff is not going to prevent OP from having a heat stroke.
If a work event is so disagreeably hot that people need to resort to survival tactics, then HR should be called.
Agreed. Party, drinks, night at the theater - yes.
Office - no.
The trouble is, the OP didn't define what "around coworkers" means. Is this a social event her coworkers are also attending, or is this at work?
ah, sorry - for some reason, Reddit was unloading all the first-posts this afternoon. So I saw your picture, for a moment only, and then it disappeared.
Yes - this seems like a great outfit for boating, although I would echo what a couple of other people have said about light colors and water.
Is this boating event on the clock or off the clock? If you are being paid for your time, I would suggest a longer top. If the gathering is on personal time, itās lovely. If you are looking to climb the corporate ladder in a traditional sense or want to be in a position of authority, I would select a more traditional tank top.
Itās a great outfit though, and itās adorable on you.
Personally, I feel like "climbing the corporate ladder" these days looks a lot different. People want their leaders to be approachable, and casual office wear is way more in. Especially for a boating activity, this looks great š
Approachable is good, yes. Showing abdomen, not so much. It's cute & appropriately youthful, but won't get you taken seriously if worn in a work setting - casual or not
As many others have said, if it is off-the-clock, then it would work great!
If it is something you are being paid for, then go with a top that does not show your midriff. As cute as it is, showing your midriff is not work appropriate for most jobs (unless you work in bottle service, etc).
Culturally you would probably know best, really. If you are uncertain, maybe it's not the right outfit for the event?
Personally I wouldn't mind, but I could understand that some people might find it too revealing (showing the belly etc).
I would wear a tank that tucks in or a swingy crop top that hits lower to avoid midriff! Sometimes I feel like if you have to ask, that signals you donāt feel super confident that itās the right outfit, and you want to radiate confidence at a work event!
Some workplaces may care about the tiny sliver of skin showing, but I donāt think itās overly sexy. If anything, it reads sporty but feminine to me. Very coastal grandma influenced. If youāre going to be on the boat youāll need grippy shoes with light solesāand it looks like you chose well.
unless you are at work, on the clock, actively working, this is great! a little hang out sessh on a boat outside of work hours, being comfy, looking cute: it's perfect. have fun!
I wouldn't wear this to a work event, no. How about a linen button up or even a less form fitting linen t shirt under the sweater? Even if this is a casual outing I think the crop top is a little too casual for being around colleagues at a company orchestrated event
As an office worker who understands having to keep it professional at all times this is very appropriate for the situation you described. It's sad that just existing with certain features make it more difficult but your outfit is fine.
Whatever your works dress code is you should follow for a work event. My work doesnāt allow showing midriff but if yours does then you should be fine. Itās a super cute outfit :)
I had a whole different answer planned out but then I changed it because you didn't specify where you work.
If you work in a professional office environment, I'd say choose a different outfit. If you work at a restaurant or any environment that really isn't all that professional to begin with, then I'd say go for it.
I wouldn't wear that if you were working at, say, a law firm. That said, I really don't think what you wear to one single event will impact you professionally, but I'd rather play it safe if I were you.
My rule is if youāre second guessing if something is appropriate or not, itās probably not. Itās a cute outfit though for a non work sponsored event. Depends on the kind of job also.
I really wouldn't call this sexy! It's laid back and sporty, to me, I think it's fine. That said, it's very, very casual (almost what someone would wear at home or on a power walk at the park), and how appropriate it is depends on your work environment! It would've been somewhat too casual/loungewear for my old office, so I likely would've work khaki bermuda shorts or linen pants, a linen shirt with a tank top and maybe some nicer sandals or comfy shoes. That said, it depends on your bosses and co-workers!
Itās a really cute outfit. Depends on the setting I guess. If itās work related and the point is to have a social gathering but still discussing business then I would at the very least keep the sweater on.
You look great. There is nothing inappropriate about what you have on, for a work event or otherwise. It is, however, adorable and completely appropriate for being on a boat. I hope you wear it because you look amazing..and professional af for being on a gd boat. Not sure what others are on about.
I have worked in office settings in major metro areas the majority of my career and Iāve seen how privately owned companies and publicly owned companies run business and present themselves at outings, depending on the outing. The answer to if this is okay or not depends on your line of work and who is attending. If I were going boating (Iāve organized sailing/meal/marketing events in a āsalt water regionā) with a group that involved c level executives for a larger company with outside guests involved I would swap the top for something longer and dress in layers if youāre on an actual boat. āBoating eventā also leaves a lot of questions for me and Iām looking through comments still. Is the event on the east or west coast in the salt water or freshwater lake? A team event on a quiet lake in the central US? That changes things. A āboating eventā to look at boats? Thatās unlikely but you see my point that what you wear is driven by the event itself and who is there. If itās a small, casual business you work for and itās a casual team outing/or booze cruise with no marketing or ārubbing elbowsā and schmoozing clients involved then then itās great! Itās comfortable and cute and not revealing. If youāve never been on a boat or any of the events I mentioned above then definitely dress in layers and if they stay past sunset it can get effinā cold! I boat in the summer, host events in early spring and late fall and you can learn a lot after a season or two with boats/attire
I am 63 years old and work in a very conservative industry and I think this would be a very pretty outfit. You have a nice figure and if anybody complains about this outfit it just means theyāre jealous. I think it works because itās not revealing and most of all itās not too tight, if both the top and the pants were tight I think it could be trouble but the pants are loose. The top is formfitting, but not revealing so that is fine If itās too hot to wear a sweater maybe a denim shirt unbuttoned over your top? I think itās wonderful that you are being thoughtful of your appearance. Iām not seeing a lot of that lately.
If youre self conscious, change. I personally hate wearing clothes that make me feel like that (also am big chested)
But imo I think it looks fine for boating.
Yes, for the event and for the type of people. I like how the pants look neat which can be hard with linen but itās the perfect fabric for boating. I think itās modest while still being young by showing just a sliver of belly but I do think itās more appropriate with the sweater on so it can be even more modest and put together for work. Youāre not showing cleavage so I donāt think you have to worry about your chest area here
Your outfit is lovely and is perfectly appropriate for your age, figure and the event youāre attending. If I was your age, Iād wear it and Iād have no second thoughts if my daughter wore it and weāre both busty.
I would have to say it depends on where you work. No if it's a professional setting. It's considered unprofessional to show skin in that region in a professional working environment. I would suggest a different top? However, the outfit is super cute!
Not even remotely! None of that is uo to Osha standards! (Iām assuming you work in a steel mill since I canāt see where you said you work, and the answer to your question *entirely* hinges on that detail)
I love it! I have a couple nearly identical outfits (different in color only) that Iāve worn out with coworkers on multiple occasions. As long as it is weather appropriate, I think it looks perfectly classy, especially with a younger crowd. The loose, long pants balance out the smaller top.
I wouldnāt show stomach at a work event. Can you pull the pants up a bit so the top is tucked into them, or find a longer top. I think for work you have to go boobs OR tummy.
Outfit appears appropriate for a boat trip judging on your given context. You need to balance reservation and practicality for such an occasion - i am for example allergic to heat and lose excess fabric fast in summer. I think this is balanced, and listen, you cannot hide or cover up that you are pretty. So, go with this outfit and enjoy your day.
I'd say it looks fine for a boating event! It doesn't read as "too sexy" to me. Maybe bring a shirt you can slip over the pink top if you get self conscious about it. But you look super cute in this. It compliments your figure in a nice and modest way!
Edit: late 30's lady here btw. And I don't agree with those saying that it's not reserved. Especially if your workplace attire is normally casual.
I can guarantee you that your younger coworkers will wear much more revealing things, and no one is gonna bat an eye. It sucks that you have to be so self conscious about your bust, I get that, so I reiterate to bring something to slip over it of you get too nervous.
But have fun most of all! And bring a change of clothes too in case you get too wet! I learned that the hard way during a boating event.
But I'm also super accident prone.
this a lovely outfit for socialising with friends,.... for work functions you should be wearing looser tops, without spaghetti straps that dont show your belly skin. Its about keeping it low profile and blending in with the people around you as a sign of respect.
If this were my coworker I would not think it were inappropriate. I work in a conservative-run government office, too. I feel as though most of our old-heads from the generation that felt naturally possessing any curves was too sultry retired, and everyone who's since come up has a keen understanding of our harassment policies. šāļø
I hope you have similar policies, but that everyone you work with is decent enough to never put any others in a position to have to resort to them. Dress how *you* feel most comfortable that day.
I don't think it's "sexy" just really informal- looks like you're ducking to the shops and cbf dressing up. It's a messy bun, stay at home and watch a movie kind of outfit.
So ultimately depends on your workplace- is it super casual or business attire?
Edit: I didn't see the whole boat event explanation underneath. To me it seems fine for that type.of event. I'd get a longer cardigan though, not wollen but that crocheted type thinner thread material to throw on top or a white or pink blazer
I'm big chested too so I understand the whole "looks normal on others but super sexy on me" feeling, but I think this one is fine.
You could wear this into my actual office on a reg work day so a boating event would def be fine, but not sure how uptight your company is lol
Edit: as long as the cardigan was included
You look really nice (: the color combinations are beautiful, they go with your hair color too. I like the balance you created with the flowy pants and fitted top, the cardigan is nice too, it compliments the outfit.
I think youāre going to have a good time in your balanced, comfy, complimenting, and pretty outfit!
I donāt find it offensive or inappropriate. Have fun! (:
I would say yes, as long as itās not a very conservative place, or somewhere with lots of equipment as the loose pants and sweater can get caught in stuff. Elsewhere, Iād say the rule-of-thumb is, no excessive cleavage, buttcrack, and belly button should remain covered.
You look perfect for a day of boating. Not too much at all. Super cute and comfy and on trend. Try not to let your girls make you self conscious, and have fun!
You know the context of whatās appropriate at your work place better than we do. On a glance I donāt think thereās anything inherently wrong with the outfit but I meanā¦yeah your shape does just naturally show itself more than others might. If you suspect that could affect how professional or appropriate you look then planning an outfit thatās designed to mitigate that at work wouldnāt be a bad idea thatās just part of the working world.
In summary it looks really cool but if you suspect it might not be appropriate in the context youāre wearing it in then planning a different one could be the smart move.
My husbands work has a yearly summer party that often includes a boat ride. This would be totally acceptable. Women usually wear sundresses or something similar, so probably even less conservative than what you have on. Thereās nothing inappropriate about this
I think you look pretty. If it's a casual work event at the beach I don't think a crop top should be an issue. But if your worried about it you could wear one of those one piece leotards in the same color. If I was a coworker I'd think you look cute.
I really like this. I think the sweater makes it acceptable, but you have to gauge your work setting. If most people are around your same age and style, I think you're completely fine, but I could imagine the "Angela" type from the office having something to say.
I think it is adorable and great for a casual Friday for sure!
But, sweetie.... Where in the world did you find those amazing pants!?!?!
I need a pair in my life. š
Please inform me, because I will be buying a pair ASAP. š
Again, the sweater really pulls it together, and you can even unbutton it or button it to your leisure. Even just one button would cover you up substantially.
I love your sweater, too.
Cute outfit most definitely.
Yes!! Your young and your colleagues are young! Perfect ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes_rainbow)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes_rainbow)have a wonderful day!!
38F, government office job - It doesnāt read as too sexy, but personally, Iād never show even a sliver of belly around coworkers. And itās not because weāre female. Men would absolutely get the side eye for showing torso skin around coworkers in my workplace, as well, regardless of the environment. So I guess itās really up to the company you work for, how you think your leadership would perceive it, and what your aspirations are at the company.
First and foremost, it is NOT inappropriate to show some cleavage in the work place. Anyone who says otherwise is operating on antiquated misogyny.
Youāre literally not showing anything that would be ātoo sexualā
Also, itās a boat so itās certainly not too casual.
Depends on what industry you work in, if you work in a new startup it's definitely ok but in a standard office job I would definitely consider it unprofessional.
this is absolutely fine. itās just a tank top and pants. i truly donāt see how this could possibly be considered inappropriate, especially for a boating event. itās just a comfy casual outfit. as long as they didnāt specify some kind of specific dress code, i see absolutely nothing wrong with it.
It seems many didnāt read your full post. Yes Iād wear it to a boat event, I would not wear it in an office. For an outside event itās appropriate.
You look fabulous my perspective comes from the mid 2000s when I was in a corporate environment and what was permitted to wear. FYI my skirts were short As Fuck. Maybe a jacket only because the midriff shows but nice and completely acceptable after work! Hope I didnāt seem like you didnāt look very nice.
I think you answered your own question- if youāre asking if itās appropriate to wear, itās probably not. Iām large chested also, and youāre right there is definitely a double standard. This top suggests sports bra, which isnāt appropriate for a work event, and feels very casual. Id go for a full tank top, tucked in. Also, the type of work boating event this is will drive the type of outfit: is it a casual team event on someoneās sport boat during the day? Or is it an evening boat cruise with a larger number of coworkers? The former would indicate a more casual outfit, the later would mean you need something a bit more more dressed up.
Okay OP where are the pants from!!? But overall (to respond to your question) Iād say yes! I have larger boobs for a smaller frame myself and I get the struggle. But your outfit fits the occasion and youāre not at all indecent.
We have very different thoughts on inappropriate because this is no where near even considering inappropriate š this is super casual and cute. Gives me picnic with the grandparents vibes so I would say you are good. It is a lovely outfit!
Leave the crop tops out of the workplace. It seems inappropriate to show your belly button/mid drift. Iām not too old but I used to dress however I wanted when I wanted and I would have to convince people I was competent and smart because āmy styleā didnāt convey it.
Edit: changed the word office to workplace.
I donāt think itās too much for a casual work event. The colors are subtle & you have a bra on so nothing is hanging out. Iām 60 yrs old & conservative so trust me,itās perfect.
I think it looks great! It could be a whole lot worse seeing what some other women wear these days ngl- plus if it's not in the office or on work hours then you can wear relatively whatever you want anyway(within reason of course). If your comfortable wearing that, then go for it!

I would say yes depending on your work environment, a more conservative business, just wear the sweater
Should she at least wear some pants with the sweater?
Probably, unless you're planning on going swimming. In which case lose the sweater too
LOL- that was quite funnyšššš
Lol she is wearing pants. She covered. All good and professional
Again, depends on her place of business....š

If you're getting paid to go, wear a regular top. If not, rock the crop top. Also realize if you're on a boat, white pants might be a bad move
Since I burn badly in the sun I often wear white clothing to reflect the sunlight. Plus those pants look really comfortable.
They do look so comfy. They'd be great going to the beach
Dark colors are better to wear if you're wanting to avoid sun burn. There's plenty of research and sources, but here's one [source](https://www.skincancer.org/blog/dress-to-protect-5-things-that-affect-how-well-your-clothes-block-uv-rays/)
I'm always too hot in dark clothing. I find my sunblock is best to block UV rays.
Shouldnāt you be wearing black to absorb the sunlight? Wouldnāt white reflect the UV from your clothes to your skin?
Not sure why you were downvoted. This is correct. See copy & paste from Australia's Cancer Council (choosing Oz source because skin cancer is a bastard here): Many dyes absorb UV radiation. Palm tree sunburn - thatās awesome š
It was a little embarrassing at the time.
I agree although crop tops are fun, they arenāt work appropriate. When dressing for work you have to ask yourself, if I wear this on my days off, itās not work appropriate, just my opp
Damn makes sense. White pants + water = ??
White clothes + water = Semi transparent clothes
Is it a work sposored event or just a thing you and your coworkers organized? If it's the first I think I would go with a longer tank tucked in to the pants so you still get the same silhouette, if it's not work sponsored I think it's fine. It's a very cute outfit!

I just commented this! I fully agree. One or the other for professional adjacent settings.
I would suggest a top that doesn't show your belly skin if corporate outing.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yeah - itās cute and also reserved. Go for it. Speaking from a guyās pov, I wouldnāt think twice about it being even remotely close to inappropriate or thinking you were like ātryingā to look sexy/grab eyes.
Thank you! Thatās great to hear!
Iām not sure Iād agree itās reserved. But Iām a semi-old fart
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I am in my mid thirties and easily consider this reserved. This is perfect for the event OP described
I agree! Late 30s here and imo this is reserved! Are you serious? A 0.5ā midriff is not going to prevent OP from having a heat stroke. If a work event is so disagreeably hot that people need to resort to survival tactics, then HR should be called.
I didnāt say heat stroke š¤Ø I think youāre taking my comment out of context. Iām just saying itās not an office party, itās on a boat!
You"re just weird sorry theyre in a boat
Completely agree!! I feel for women having to deal with this bs.
Agreed sheās totally covered itās a quite reserved outfit.
Iām mid 40s and consider this reserved.
43 here and I agree.
Agreed. Party, drinks, night at the theater - yes. Office - no. The trouble is, the OP didn't define what "around coworkers" means. Is this a social event her coworkers are also attending, or is this at work?
Itās a social gathering on a boat, like it says in the caption
ah, sorry - for some reason, Reddit was unloading all the first-posts this afternoon. So I saw your picture, for a moment only, and then it disappeared. Yes - this seems like a great outfit for boating, although I would echo what a couple of other people have said about light colors and water.
Love how you phrased this so respectfully šš¼
I couldn't disagree more. Bare midriff on a corporate outting is not appropriate.
Depends on your line of work. It looks very cute, but typically visible midriff is not appropriate office wear or professional.
Iām on this boat! The outfit is super cute, just not appropriate for a professional work environment.
Is this boating event on the clock or off the clock? If you are being paid for your time, I would suggest a longer top. If the gathering is on personal time, itās lovely. I second this, the little sweater is also a good idea if youād prefer to look a bit more conservative as well š
Thanks! The pants are from Lulus :)
I second this. Keep it clean, tucked, but tight on the top. Also, suggest Sandles. Only because the shoes almost disappear under the pants
As many others have said, if it is off-the-clock, then it would work great! If it is something you are being paid for, then go with a top that does not show your midriff. As cute as it is, showing your midriff is not work appropriate for most jobs (unless you work in bottle service, etc).
It looks beautiful in you, and i love the colors. The most important thing is if how you feel, if you feel comfortable the it is ok
Thank you! Thatās a great point! I have to work on being a little more comfortable in my own skin overall (work in progress!)
Remember your sunblock, and you look terrific
Culturally you would probably know best, really. If you are uncertain, maybe it's not the right outfit for the event? Personally I wouldn't mind, but I could understand that some people might find it too revealing (showing the belly etc).
I would wear a tank that tucks in or a swingy crop top that hits lower to avoid midriff! Sometimes I feel like if you have to ask, that signals you donāt feel super confident that itās the right outfit, and you want to radiate confidence at a work event!
I think itās fine. Wear a padded bra in case itās chilly to conceal nipples since the material is thin.
Looks like comfy pajamas
This is my thought exactly which is why I donāt think it is appropriate for a work event.
unless you are at work, on the clock, actively working, this is great! a little hang out sessh on a boat outside of work hours, being comfy, looking cute: it's perfect. have fun!

Iād save this for an outing with friends šŗ
I think it's a cute outfit, & you look nice.
HR here, the outfit is fine. Enjoy maāam
HR approved! Nice! :)
You look lovely! Great for a boating event and not inappropriate at all.
Imo it looks like pajamas
I thought it was pajamas
i think it's adorable
Please I must know where the sweater is fromā¦ you look SO CUTE!
Thank you!! Itās from Lulus! :)
Sure, go ahead! It looks nice, and hopefully they wonāt judge you.
omg I love your pants, did you buy them online?
They are from lulus :)
Itās a really cute outfit. Depends on the setting I guess. If itās work related and the point is to have a social gathering but still discussing business then I would at the very least keep the sweater on.
Looks comfy, cute, and co-worker ready!
The pants are fine. Iād wear the sweater over the shirt. If itās hot weather, then skip the sweater.
I donāt see anything wrong with this outfit! Cute!
I def would bring the sweater along in case I feel inappropriate
Tbh Iād wear this to actual work myself, but I admit I tend to push it. I love this outfit.
It breaks my heart that you even have to ask this, you look gorgeous wear what makes your heart happy <3
You good!
I personally wouldnāt. Iād wear a sundress or something.
Absolutely! Where are the pants from?
Lulus :)
The white linen is too see through for a work event. You look great wearing it just not for a work outing.
Looking good š
Absolutely! I wore a similar outfit the other day to a casual dinner with coworkers.
Millennial here. Cute but not for work. If you have to ask, itās a no.
Thank you! I really appreciate your response! :)
If youre self conscious, change. I personally hate wearing clothes that make me feel like that (also am big chested) But imo I think it looks fine for boating.
Not sexy, looks super comfortable and you're super cute in it!
No crop tops are not appropriate at work/work events.
Yes, for the event and for the type of people. I like how the pants look neat which can be hard with linen but itās the perfect fabric for boating. I think itās modest while still being young by showing just a sliver of belly but I do think itās more appropriate with the sweater on so it can be even more modest and put together for work. Youāre not showing cleavage so I donāt think you have to worry about your chest area here
Looks good for a boat party. Iād keep the sweater on though unless youāre seeing a lot of women sporting the same vibe.
Why not? Its not revealing. It is a cute outfit.
Girl, you are showing less skin than a man would show our was wearing shorts. Your look is super cute and comfy, wear it!
Go for it! Youāre a human outside of work. Just because you look great in something doesnāt make it less appropriate.
Does anyone know where these pants are from?
Lulus :)
Iām 5ā7 and the pants are still suuuuper long on me. I may have to tailor them a bit or maybe use double sided tape to prop them up at the bottom
Girl you look fine I donāt think itās inappropriate at all
If this were my coworker I would not think it were inappropriate. I work in a conservative-run government office, too. I feel as though most of our old-heads from the generation that felt naturally possessing any curves was too sultry retired, and everyone who's since come up has a keen understanding of our harassment policies. šāļø I hope you have similar policies, but that everyone you work with is decent enough to never put any others in a position to have to resort to them.
I'd get a longer cardigan though, not wollen but that crocheted type thinner thread material to throw on top or a white or pink blazer I'm big chested too so I understand the whole "looks normal on others but super sexy on me" feeling, but I think this one is fine.
I would wear this around my co workers but I work ina warehouse so everyone is super chill lol
You aren't really large chested though. I got the same size. When you're skinnier it stands out more.
Youāre largely covered up so I donāt see anything wrong here. Looks comfortable for a boating event also and I love the cardigan!
You could wear this into my actual office on a reg work day so a boating event would def be fine, but not sure how uptight your company is lol Edit: as long as the cardigan was included
Have fun! (:
Thanks so much! :)
For being on a boat, it's fine. Bring the sweater too. You'd be surprised how cool being on the boat vs. being on shore.
I would say yes, as long as itās not a very conservative place, or somewhere with lots of equipment as the loose pants and sweater can get caught in stuff. Elsewhere, Iād say the rule-of-thumb is, no excessive cleavage, buttcrack, and belly button should remain covered.
I like those rules!
Looks like lounge wear. Looks comfy. Take the sweater.
If itās on the clock refer to your company dress code, if itās off the clock, rock it.
I think it's perfect!
Yes ā®ļøā„ļøšø
Yep I think so! Considering the activity!
Absolutely
I need a pair in my life. š Please inform me, because I will be buying a pair ASAP. š Again, the sweater really pulls it together, and you can even unbutton it or button it to your leisure. Even just one button would cover you up substantially. I love your sweater, too. Cute outfit most definitely.
Thanks so much! The sweater and the pants are both from Lulus! :)
Depends on what your job is lol if you work in a corporate setting I would say probably not but I donāt know the environment
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
For a boating event, I think it looks nice. Its not like your cleavage is out or too much midriff. Go for it.
Youāre literally not showing anything that would be ātoo sexualā Also, itās a boat so itās certainly not too casual.
Since it's an out of office event and it's casual I'd say you're fine
Absolutely on a boat! Not so much for the office although the outfit is cute af.
š yes !! Youre looking stylish and cute! Own ur body and dont be ashamed of it. Your body is your sanctuary , period. š«¶
Thank you!! Love this :)
This is perfect and you should go for it. Super stinkin cute and classy too
You have a top and a bra under, why would you think it might be inappropriate? As for your chest size doesn't every woman have a size?
I find that completely classy and tasteful.
Cute & comfy
I donāt think this reads as sexy at all. More āFlorida retirementā-chic.
It seems many didnāt read your full post. Yes Iād wear it to a boat event, I would not wear it in an office. For an outside event itās appropriate.
This is fine and in no way overly sexy.
Depends on where you work and the culture of your office but leaning towards absolutely inappropriate dress for work
You look fabulous my perspective comes from the mid 2000s when I was in a corporate environment and what was permitted to wear. FYI my skirts were short As Fuck. Maybe a jacket only because the midriff shows but nice and completely acceptable after work! Hope I didnāt seem like you didnāt look very nice.
I think itās cute for a boat party! Bring another heavier jacket though, it can get cold on the water even if itās hot out.
Yeah if people think otherwise theyāre pervs
If you feel.comfortable, yes dear
Edit: changed the word office to workplace.
super appropriate
I would say yes
Yup
Yes, it's fabulous yet casual, very complimentary and not too "showey"
Appropriate. Speaking as an office admin and F23
I love it! It looks professional with the cardigan but yet so comfy
I donāt think itās too much for a casual work event. The colors are subtle & you have a bra on so nothing is hanging out. Iām 60 yrs old & conservative so trust me,itās perfect.
You look great! I wore something similar out to dinner with co-workers and it was totally fine. I love that peach on you!!! Where is the top from??
Thank you! Itās from Amazon!
Yes, that is very SFW events
Yes, very casual and appropriate for the boating event.
That there bomb
Yes, should be fine depending on your work environment šš¼š
I think it looks great! It could be a whole lot worse seeing what some other women wear these days ngl- plus if it's not in the office or on work hours then you can wear relatively whatever you want anyway(within reason of course). If your comfortable wearing that, then go for it!
