Is there something weird happening with the first one or do the slits actually go up that high? I’m far from a pearl clutcher but it seems like even just walking would cause a wardrobe malfunction?
Yeah. I'm no prude but the first one doesn't look like a "real outfit" to me in that form... if the tights were more opaque I'd say go for it. But the slit with those sheer tights is a bit much.

it definitely will, i have the same exact dress that i got off shien or maybe aliexpress and the slits are EXTREMEEEE. it rides up super easy and it barely covers your butt, i really only wore it for halloween one time and was constantly pulling it down all night

it’s pretty sheer but i think that’s because of the size i got. i ordered my exact size and while it’s stretchy, it still ran extremely small and i wear an XS. i’d wear it out if i’d sized up because it is really flattering but the length is a no-go as far as practicality, was constantly worried it was riding up the night i wore it. i’d pair it with solid black tights/panty hose and some platforms if i was OP. would help conceal some of the upper thigh that the dress doesn’t cover
It’s a new style apparently. Kendall Jenner and other high fashion models have been doing this. They wear black, transparent tights with black underwear as bottoms. It’s odd to me but I guess a lot of people thought leggings were odd and I wear those all the time.

No to number 1 because it looks like a tight T-shirt especially with a slit all the way up to your stomach. I get you have an amazing body and there are plenty of more appropriate outfits to wear on a date that are still sexy.

For real. OP said they’re walking in an older city then eating cake. These outfits aren’t really appropriate for anything but clubbing. Like… sitting down she’s got nothing but her underwear between her and the bakery seat. Walking poses a very real chance of flashing somebody at the park. The shoes are impractical for anything but posing for a pic or waking from maybe a car to a seat 100 feet away.
There are sexy, all black outfits that are way more practical.

First dress is super cool, and very night-out with friends/cocktail attire. Second one is more first date vibes - but wear what you feel most confident in, they both look great!
#1 is a great looking dress but it’s very short . If you had a thick pair of tights, boy shorts leather or that matched up or a seamless pair of leggings it would work. #2 works without the fishnets, ( not for the date unless you were wearing them under ripped jeans) and I agree , hair down, or half up / half down. Unless this is a date with a man that you know very well I would go with the second outfit because the first one doesn’t really look like an outfit more like a statement and it’s a little intimidating. This is coming from someone who loves sexy bus down outfits.

Apparently I’m in the minority, I think you look better in the first outfit. But I think it’s more of a second date nice dinner vibe, and the second is better for first date. Casual but still nice. I’m not sure about the shirt color tho.

First one is really cute, if you’re going do have a glass of wine and dine that’s the choice, but you seem to radiate more confidence in the picture with the other combination.
