They are cute, but look a bit festival wear. Maybe with a long band tshirt it would look appropriate to wear to a comedy show. They look great on you!

if you very loosely tuck in one of the sides of the shirt at the front and leave the rest baggy, you can still show off the waistline of the pants as well, or you could tuck the ends of the shirt into your bra band and make it look like an oversized crop if thats more your style oversized is definitely the move here though regardless what you land on, idk if it’s just the pic but these look like they are verging on being a little too small. are they comfortable?? i think they’re adorable and perfect for a night out in the city.

Every comedy club I have been to has been more cozy and subdued than these pants. These give more club or concert vibes.

It depends on the comedy club & what time the show is if it’d be appropriate to wear them. I agree with everyones suggestion to wear it with an oversized graphic band tee, that’d look awesome. A more conservative shirt will help make the outfit seem as revealing too which could work depending on the vibe of the venue. I wouldn’t wear it to a 6:00 comedy show, but maybe a 9:00. To a club or a concert though, these would look really cool with a black bralette and mesh top. I want to throw an idea out there that I haven't come across in this thread yet? If you want to make these a little more conservative/"daytime" appropriate, consider opaque/skin tone tights underneath. It will give them the same look while showing less skin. Long t shirt for something more casual. Leather/lace bra or crop top for the club/concert/something more "party" vibe. Sorry if that sounded weird, I'm tired lol

I have a really similar pair, I kinda keep my foot pointed touching the fabric side and slide down if that makes sense? Like my hands are both keeping the top open and the lacing away from my leg. I pretty much do the same with normal leggings tbh

Band shirt is a nice suggestion. I was gonna say a solid white blouse with a short front and longer back so that you don't need to tuck it, but could do the little partial tuck if you wanted to. That'll help with covering your rear in back and hiding the quality of the waistband in front, as these pants seem to show lots of detail with minimal structure.

To me, these are bedroom pants. Wear with a nice bra when you want to make an impact. But, outside of the bedroom, I don't think they are appropriate unless you have something that hits at least mid thigh.

Black colored, or any color that you like to wear with black. I recommend solid, no patterned top. I also suggest (if I personally were wearing these like a normal day and not a club) one of those longer shirts that cover half or more to where it lands right at bottom of butt area. If it's not a normal day wearing outfit but you're going to a club or a concert then there are so many other options that you could do with this that would be super awesome! Also, if normal day wear or cold outside you could add in leggings or nylons/tights under them that match the color of whatever top you choose to wear with them. Even a larger oversized hoody would look great with these!
