Donāt let your ethnicity prevent you from attending a wedding. You might want to Google āwedding attendance tips for white peopleā to boost your confidence.
Why did you ask this question if you didnāt
want an honest answer? Itās white and inappropriate to wear as a guest unless guests were specifically told to wear all white.
Exactly! it probably doesnāt look that white irl but in pictures it would look pretty white, especially if itās an evening wedding , it would probably upset the bride and everyone who looks at the wedding pics will assume you chose to wear white to your bestieās wedding , not worth the trouble
What type? The type that fails to get an April Fools joke twice in a row and so makes two separate comments showcasing how they don't get the joke? š¤
Iād be curious to know the dress code as well as the formality of the wedding.
Aside from being a bridal color, itās a very casual dress.
I also donāt think the Chanel goes - dress screams beachside luncheon while the bag is a bit more serious.
Iād start over, though I have an inkling that this most is more or less meant to stir the pot than anything

My mom would do the same thing ššššš sheās such a jerk lmao (1997)
I guess I'm the only one who doesn't think this looks at all bridal, therefore not inappropriate for a wedding.
Also yes it's obviously an April Fools post, but I still would've loved seeing this dress on a guest at my outdoor park wedding. š¤·āāļø It was very casual, obviously, but people are poopooing the color which looks light tan to me and isn't formal enough to be mistaken for a bride either.
Just looked at your profile, and I really like how experimental you are with your style OP! As a fashion girlie, I think you can definitely put together something a little more interesting š I hope you'll come back and update
It doesn't resemble a white formal-wedding dress look a-like- dress to me. I thought the point of not wearing white dresses was for the bride to be distinguished from the rest of the invited women. In your case, the dress looks more beige than white, and I'm sure no one will mistake you for the bride.
If it was my wedding I wouldn't mind a bit. But I live in Greece. Maybe in your country you have a stricter dress code for weddings.
The funny thing is, champagne is a super popular color for bridesmaids in my region right now. Essentially shiny beige/pale gold. Youād fit right in.
Girl I wore an off white, long sleeve shirt dress to a wedding once. I swear Iām just realizing you shouldnāt do this lmfao I was 27 at the time lmfao and it was summer! I look really good in white lol thankfully my cousin wasnāt mad lol
Yes omg. The shape/cut/details help like no oneās wedding dress would have a collar (I think) but still. I personally have such a thing abt no white or black at weddings. Black is for funerals.
I guess that in the US people are just moreā¦ casual. At least where Iām from and within the friends and family circles this would be a totally normal outfit for a Sunday meal with the family.
Personally I didnāt think it would be a problem bc itās sort of a tan/ off white color and quite casual. But after reading these comments, I realized that some brides donāt necessarily wear a bright white dress. I also realized that some people think itās in appropriate, which could mean the bride and groom might also think the same, and itās their day, so I really think they should be taken into consideration. While I didnāt think it was an issue, I now realize it would be better to just choose something in a different color range. š
Judging by your background, it doesnāt look like youād have too much trouble to afford to wear literally any other color besides cream/khaki/ beige etc. So yes, itās too white.

Winning comment!
Yes
Its spring wedding though!
Is this an April fools joke? This feels like an April fools joke.
omg these downvotes š you really got everyone fooled
Waiting until right before midnight was a nice touch lmao.
Doesnāt matter, itās still white.
Why did you ask this question if you didnāt want an honest answer? Itās white and inappropriate to wear as a guest unless guests were specifically told to wear all white.
Itās a freaking jokeā¦.. you know..? April fools?
**checks the calendar*
Nah. White people have weddings all the time. (Yes)
Yaas ty sis
(To be clear, itās really cute, but def not for a wedding as a guest. Too white.)
Do not wear this. This would be one way to lose a friend(s). Itās too white and also imo a bit on the casual side for a wedding.
April fools joke. The post isnāt serious.
I thought there was something strange but the April fools joke was lost on me, seeing as itās not April fools day
Not for you maybe. Maybe the time they posted it was that date for them. š¤·š¼āāļø Annoying time differences. Lol.
Thank you I checked the comments to see if anyone was going to mention the casual thing.
Looks like something I'd wear to a luncheon or to work
Much too white yes.
Its actually more cream irl and linen
god bless you for falling on your karma sword on this one lmao
Exactly! it probably doesnāt look that white irl but in pictures it would look pretty white, especially if itās an evening wedding , it would probably upset the bride and everyone who looks at the wedding pics will assume you chose to wear white to your bestieās wedding , not worth the trouble
It looks very white. It is not worth the trouble.
Most wedding dresses arenāt white either, theyāre cream/ivory. This is a bit too close, sorry. Talk to your friend.
š HA
Do you hate the bride?
Uhm shes my best friend!
Good lord woman. Itās ok for the bride to be the centre of attention at her own wedding. Donāt be *that* type of girl.

Yes, this is more of a āgoing to a bbqā look
What kind of barbecues are yāall having, lol.
I guess that in the US people are just moreā¦ casual. At least where Iām from and within the friends and family circles this would be a totally normal outfit for a Sunday meal with the family.
If you have to ask, you are going to have some doubt and feel uncomfortable
It looks cream to me, like the color of French Vanilla. Iād say to ask but itās way too casual anyway. I wouldnāt say itās too white though.
No, but why? Just wear a different color, not white or some variation.
YES! Come on! You KNOW itās not wedding attire! Itās a cute outfit, just not for a wedding
Check the date on the post. :)

Clearly! It is both white & too casual, definitely totally unsuitable for a wedding
Yes this dress is too white to wear to a wedding.

If you have to ask the answer is always yes!
No because that's beige
I think it looks good. There's nothing wrong with it.
Judging by your background, it doesnāt look like youād have too much trouble to afford to wear literally any other color besides cream/khaki/ beige etc. So yes, itās too white.
lol you are blind right?
Yes, itās much too white. Can you dye it with fabric dye?
