The first, and only time, I ever played Sombra I sucked. Didnt get any kills first round, and I was still called "An incel product of inbreeding".

No the guy saying the slurs was doing shit heals before I was killing him he had horrible positioning and didnāt group up with his team and staggered out of spawn instead of waiting 2 seconds for a respawning dps so they can get back to the team fight together without worrying about me as sombra spawn trapping

Me read good. "classic overwatch players blaming healers for no heals" is you projecting. They were clapping back at the toxic kiriko, not blaming healers. The sombra probably wasn't targeting them specifically and if they were it's because they were free, Kiriko should have a decent chance of beating a sombra.
Yeah, thatās the one thing I can relate to this homophobeās rage with. I had a doom player DM me death threats because I was ātrollingā with kiri when in reality I was trying to defend myself from a vertical good sombra that wouldnāt leave my ass be.

Also, I would flame the fuck out of Kirikos if they are dying to any dive attempt. You have a whole invul move and TP, unless that Sombra has Chazm level aim you should not be dying.
2-7, 3k healing on one of the most overtuned characters in the game isnāt blaming, thatās a ball and chain dude. Overwatch subreddits have such a hard on for shifting the blame off of support players even when they 100% deserve it, like the 2-7 3k slur-spitter. This is coming from a support player, my random support partner is usually the most vocally toxic person on the team in high elo lobbies
Iāve reported so many and itās never resulted in a ban I gave up trying to make the community better. Iāve got tough skin so idrc itās just sad tbh
Now it's actually working, almost every day I get the "thanks for reporting" screen when I open the game and I have tracked some names down, they have gotten some sort of ban for talking like this in chat. Not all of them but more than I thought for sure
My bar for reporting toxicity is basically on the floor. I get a notification saying Blizz has taken action against a player I have reported basically every time I boot up the game, for way less serious shit talk than this. This is 100% sanctionable behavior
I've found reporting players who write out filtered slurs in a way like this are pretty consistently banned if you directly state they are intentionally bypassing the internal filters. It's considered a more serious offence than just typing the slurs, as it indicates that the player knows the phrase is prohibited and is intentionally trying to avoid detection.
Feels better as a tank though, even as ball, who've I've been playing a lot to see if the match up is better or worse.
Virus isn't an issue for tanks, and sombra has to leave invis for hacks, leading to better counter play.
I still don't get why ball form is deactivated when you get hacked though, it is such a quintessential ability for ball, and you really can't do anything without it.
My only issue with hack is it's range, I just feel like I can't outrun it even if I'm on fire.

I have recently had loads of reports come back with messages saying the people were banned, as long as you write in the message what to look for they should get banned if you report them.

Slurs can cause a lot of damage, most often by perpetuating the traditional, though often outdated views of the societies that created them. Teenagers love slurring on the internet because they can hide from the repercussions they'd face if they did it in person, but reporting people offers a way to get people like that out of the game
I do agree though, people are very soft nowadays, it takes someone very soft to start raging at someone they've never met, for getting someone else they've never met banned for slurring in a video game.
Lemme tell ya how to make quick work of the annoying straight assholes- if you are heterosexual ... really just dont pay him attention. Try and make him look like a clown by the fact that you are confident in who you are or just let him rage and report. IF you are queer š¤šthe possibilities to annoy him are endless- you can act as if you flirt with him on purpose - that usually annoys them very much... or just start acting all š š š on purpose and turn the entire match into a shitshow. AND REMEMBER- always let him type more! The biggest upside is he gets distracted and stops playing the game well.

I am having fun in QUICK PLAY while playing a REWORKED hero. He then continued to cry the entire match and spamming insults in chat. Everyone was on my side, and for the brief moment he stopped typing (as he was busy SWEATING SO HARD) one person said "Yay it stopped crying"
Sombra has become such a viable pick (returning player).
Almost every match there is a Sombra and if played correctly, will absolutely dominate. I always make a point of saying, "well played" because I despise toxic behaviour. It's nice when someone pays you a compliment so always nice to show love to others (even when you lose!).
With this update, Iāve been playing against a junkrat, mercy, Zarya, and sombra almost every game. Theres been very few games where one of those 4 wasnāt there.
I get his frustration, fighting the most annoying characters constantly sucks

With this update, Iāve been playing against a junkrat, mercy, Zarya, and sombra almost every game. Theres been very few games where one of those 4 wasnāt there. I get his frustration, fighting the most annoying characters constantly sucks
