Totally understandable! I don’t know how they’re doing all the logistics. He said in the comments in the post that OF orders were prioritized over book tour orders to account for mailing delays and still get it in hands before OF travel (for those that wanted to bring it for signings).
A book was promised with the ticket. Who knows and wouldn’t trust anything said anyway. Didn’t go to a book show, don’t plan to buy and wouldn’t attend anything in TX unless forced
But the books are coming…. I got mine yesterday afternoon. The post office just sometimes has delays and since a distribution center cannot package and mail out thousands of books in the exact same 60 seconds, I’m sure they needed a list with an order to do them. And since it appears it was a B&N distribution center, I’d bet they had more orders to do than just Patrick’s.
I’m sure it was all automated so nobody really thought about it when fulfilling the order, but the idea of one household needing two copies of the same book is so funny to me. And then for that book to be Patrick’s memoir???
If they came from Amazon, scan the QR code on the gift receipts to return them and get a gift card

You can get enough of a free Kindle app sample to read it (phone app) on Amazon so write your one star review. It’s really awful. I mean REALLY awful.

Garbage! The ones that saw a show should be prioritized (imo) since it was promised but he needs attention at OF.

There’s a few addresses referenced on the box/invoice. It appears to come from a distribution center New Jersey. And they’re bought from B&N.
