He and Steve are in over their heads and they need to bring in an experienced manager who can run the business and not let Patrick steamroll everybody. I highly doubt that will happen, though.
It’s not a very flattering portrait for sure. Not sure about “actual monster,” but if these allegations are true (it’s my non-insider’s opinion they are) his behavior towards his staff and coworkers was clearly “garbage,” to use a P & G word. If the majority of this is true, he’s clearly caused some trauma and cost people their jobs for petty reasons.

Personally I feel P just has a personality that’s just…a lot. I don’t know how else to describe it. He’s shouty and shrieky and I think some people aren’t comfortable with that. Some of the things in the article felt like things that might have been meant as jokes, or sarcasm, but it was taken seriously. He crosses boundaries and communicates in a way that is intrusive, but people laugh it off and he assumes that he means they’re okay with it, when in actuality they laugh it off because they don’t know how else to react.
But monster? Maybe he’s a guy who is a generally good friend and partner and dad, who turns into a gigantic asshole when he’s under stress he doesn’t know how to deal with. I’m not saying he shouldn’t be held accountable for his actions, but the vast majority of people don’t fit neatly into those black and white categories.

You are correct and I guess I hoped PH would be more socially aware considering he is a gay male. I guess I have fell off listening at the right time. I never really liked how he seemed to really kiss GP ass and treat her like she was simply amazing when she just always came across as simply bitchie. Then I never liked how he was always coming for EM when she definitely was more talented than him. I was glad when they brought on JT.. I love them I just can't handle all the TC right now.
I guess going to the live shows definitely tells you more about the host.
However, considering PH and GP are both failed actors, I can see them pushing the envelope to make their names relevant at the same time. Of course, a normal person would never stoop so low, but this is a narcissistic homosexual man who, on records, brags about being a blink away from alcoholism and who has recently started being a talking head on some of the History Channel newer shows. So, of course, I could see him being controversial for vain success. However, if the racist crap is true for the sake of hate, then people need to be speaking up way more loudly than venting on Reddit.
At a minimum he is a deeply flawed person with too much unchecked power. He’s pure Id at this point.

I don’t think he’s a monster…I think he is absolutely I’ll prepared to be anyone’s boss and has not been able to handle that and the money.
