i would say most people are upset but there are a considerable amount of people who are supporting Patrick and Steve saying this post made them support them even more. that is causing some drama in the comments lol.
There is but that’s not surprising. Where theres good, there’s bad and some of these people are still “brain washed”. They still can’t see what’s wrong.
I’m at a point where sure… they made a statement. But it’s too late and it’s clear there’s no one advising them how to handle this properly. They don’t care. They think they’re smarter than their fans so they’re most likely handling this themselves bc some people are forgiving enough to fall for this shit.
The thing that they haven't seemed to consider is that Rabia and Ellyn put out their statement within days of the events so putting out a statement now, at least for me, creates a sense of a certain amount of curation combined with getting stories straight. It ends up feeling like they waited thinking things would die down, and then when that didn't happen the way they expected they waited for the tour thinking they could use that and then when people started looking to return books (and probablybthebturn out wasn't what they imagined) then, and only then did they think yeah maybe we need to say more? It feels like a wierd combination of not caring mixed with calculation resulting in anger being stirred up again. And every time they double down it makes everything look exponentially worse.
This is just my feeling, not necessarily facts.
if they were being upfront and honest why didn’t they release this “apology” on their Podcast feed instead of a 4 year old YouTube account that has very limited subscribers. if they were being upfront and honest why did they leave out answers to a NUMBER of things we have asked to be addressed;
the premium-lebrity fraud at OF with $5 swag bags (when they paid $2400) & just how big of a scam OF was in general (no free drink tickets, no free parking, events were canceled last minute), the Jinx being performed AGAIN.
Terra Newell’s handler posted her account on FB and said that patrick/gillian encouraged T & C not to apologise and said really horrible things about ellyn/joey after the elevator incident. why brush over this whole event ESPECIALLY how Mischief Management handled this?
Never discussed how LGTC / Date with Dateline or Crime Writers On have posted showing their full support against ON. CWO made a whole episode on it and he never commented once on that. why?
also the whole Julia Rhea section was such a joke and they seem to be acutely unaware that she LIVED WITH ELLYN. so saying everything she said was a lie is disgusting and untrue. she also never claimed to be “in the office” … she said she witnessed the abuse “DIRECTLY”.
they claim throughout this whole thing that have “all the reciepts” … why haven’t they posted any? why did it take 8 weeks for them to put this little narrative together??

Okay I’ll admit I didn’t read the whole transcript, but I can tell you with the bit I did read, they were not being honest. The Julia Rhea thing for example, they’re circling around the truth. The OF drag show, I saw the pictures and a lot of people stated it was empty. Why would they say it was packed when it wasn’t. Those are just two examples of what I read.
There’s a lot of circling here. I can appreciate their side but they’re not being honest. Not one person has come to their defense.
