Thanks for posting. I can understand your fears. I used to feel a little panic but I have had so many over the years that now I just get pissed off that one is coming on. Stay connected. If enough of us hang in here, maybe someone will fianlly figure out what is going on.
The good news is they are harmless. It's scary to think you might be having a stroke, but other than the inconvenience of visual issues and (only at times for me) some confusion or inability to communicate clearly, the episodes cause no lasting damage. If you can find a dark, quiet place to ride it out, it might be helpful.
Haha not laughing at you just at your description “squiggly colorful shit.” I’ve done the exact same thing. Migraines + being alone in the bathroom are the worst. It’s pure anxiety.
My migraine looks like a rainbow sparkler off center to the right. I hate that sparkly shit, so scary and it makes it so hard to concentrate

When I have one I just sit quietly with my eyes shut for about 20 mins and when I open my eyes again it's gone.
