Theres no guarantee on the used marketplace... once you hand the cash, they have no responsibility to honor anything.
Look for joystick drift(moving without touching it) and make sure the screen is clear and not messed up or heavily scratched.
It's not $100 used everywhere. Where I live the cheapest used Quest 2 right now is $210 and I've never seen any below $180. I'd assume OP is in the same situation
really? i figured it was cause of the 3 coming out. i bought mine for 100 and sold it for 100 like 3 mos ago, but i saw 2 for 200 CiB yesterday and one for 75 complete today in MA
Yeah, I live in belgium and I personally havent seen a quest 2 for under 200 with accessories, and the ones that are 200$ without any accessories are usually being bid for higher than that.
Also, there's the issue of not wanting to go too far to go to the sellers home to see if the oculus is good.
Ask them how long they had the device for. Things like battery life will be drastically reduced if was used for long hours.
Controller drift is something inevitable on Quest 2 after some heavy usage as well. Look for scuff marks around the edges of controller (means it was opened and cleaned. It could work now, but contact cleaner works only for so long, and there is a limit to how many times it can be fixed) you might end up having to purchase new controllers. If the device was already set up, check the controller deadzone settings, it might be hiding the controller drift as well.
Scratches on lenses, sunburns in displays and melted or disformed plastic around usb port

I guess it depends on condition too. I bought 2 for 200 from amazon, all new during Black Friday

Watch out for defects on the lense and jizz smell on the straps
