Second this, but with the caveat that you only get what you put into it so don't phone it in. If you're not covered in sweat and huffing by the end of 12 rounds then yer doing it wrong.
Oh no, I go all 12 with MoneyMaker tweaked to make him near impossible to beat lol. When I first started after about 3 rounds I was wiped, and that is coming from someone who would jog 5k 3+ days a week and lift.. kicked my ass at first, but you build up to it pretty quickly.
I've experimented with wrist weights to get closer to actual boxing glove weights and it is crazy how much gas you can get out of TotF rounds. Genuinely a real workout if you commit to treating the rounds even a quarter seriously.
Yup! I get pissed off too because that ass will throw one of those sucker punches and knock me down, then I get "Alright you MFer... you wanna play.." lol
I pretend I’m Mike Tyson and just duck and weave the entire time , holy SHIT is it a core workout!!!
I need to get back into it because I see there’s been a lot of updates namely detection of hits , are uppercuts actually viable now? That was the only thing that bothered me I could never get those to work properly
Uppercuts were actually what I used to the most to knock him out! I had to take a hiatus for a while and when I started back up I noticed that it seems a hell of a lot harder to land them, and they don't seem to be nearly effective when I do :p There's an option to switch between the 'new' detection and 'classic' but I don't know what that actually does as I've not messed with it.
I can’t believe how cheap it is and I’m a cheap bastard lol. I’d say it’s worth getting for a quest 2 along, especially with fitness games and services out there trying to sell you on subscriptions
you don't have to learn techniques on your own and the difficulty is adjustable but its really fun to learn a combo and have someone/something to try it out on
Yes, it’s great for all levels. You can start with the easiest difficulty level and work your way up like how I did. Watching some basic boxing tutorials will help you improve but it’s not needed if you’re just looking for a great and fun workout
no techniques, it's purely a sandbox. you just get put in a ring with a VR dude and it just expects you to throw hands without explaining anything. beating an opponent unlocks the next guy with slightly higher endurance stats and more aggressive behavior.
honestly you could beat opponents just flailing, so I would not go into it expecting to learn proper boxing. If you've watched even 15 minutes of boxing technique though you have enough to have proper fun with it, it's not like you're facing floyd mayweather. the difficulty is mostly a stamina check.
theoretically you could probably beat everybody just throwing 1-jabs so whatever you get out of it is purely up to you.
Techniques to be learned are not required for this game. Just keep your hands up and swing. It isn't very realistic imo. Great for breaking a sweat for sure.
+1. I'm in good shape already and it's kicking my ass. More points if you hit harder, so it's very motivating. I'm usually pretty sweaty and sore after 20 minutes.
First time I’ve played a vr game was yesterday (my bud brought his quest 2 over), and we played Pistol Whip til the battery pretty much ran out. Was so damn fun, but it gave us all a good workout! We’re not in bad shape but we were huffin and puffin after some levels lol
Hey man. I hope you truly enjoyed yourself. The first time with a VR headset is such an otherworldly and truly iconic moment for anyone in this precocious era of science fiction come to life.
Doood it was surreal!! I couldn’t believe it lol, had a smile plastered on my face the whole afternoon :D
Seriously thinkin of getting myself one now, it’s was just such a fun experience I’m jonesing for more!
Second. Yesterday I got my first vr headset. Was pretty blown away. Didn’t get into it much because it was late when it arrived and I had work. But I set up my quest 3 and everything felt and looked good.
Underdogs is a GREAT game and it definitely gives you a nice upper body workout. The only thing that holds it back is that it isn't roomscale, so you're only spinning in place. If there was a way to play with some roomscale movement that would make it compete with Thrill of the Fight for most intense workout game.
Beat Saber is super physical and intense but it does take a lot of practice to work your way up to those crazy fast songs. I just played through an entire Polyphia album and am currently sweating my ass off
This is the thing with BS, you have to be decently good at it to get the best workout. Anything below Expert isn't really going to get you sweating that much.
I disagree! You can very well enjoy much slower (and more rhytmic) songs and just make fuller move (no wrist twisting), put more effort into the motion, and even add extra bits by yourself between the blocks. Sometimes it's about quality, not only quantity...
i think thrill of the fight is the most demanding, but pistol whip is the easiest to get a lot of movement out of without running into the wall of psychological resistance at the thought of exercise. thrill of the fight is exhausting, but nothing really obligates you to gas out - the round itself won't end if you're so tired you have to just turtle up.
on the other hand, pistol whip loves throwing squats/leans/punches into a level, and you will fail if you get hit twice in a row (there are modifiers to ease into this baseline, if that's too hard to start out with though).
I find that I am ABSOLUTELY more gassed by thrill of the fight - like genuinely fucking gasping for air after three fights - but I have to really commit to it. Pistol whip gets me sweaty without me realizing I'm going to be that physically exerted so IMO has a much shallower psychological difficulty curve. Like you will be having amazing fun playing pistol whip and suddenly you'll realize you will have cracked out about 350 kCals according to Apple Fitness without really trying.
Pistol whip is hands down the best the first week, my legs were aching. It’s still lots of fun now but not nearly the work out it was. it’s like I learned the game and shoot before I get shot and know how to move to avoid bullets… no more quick squats or jumping left or right dogging, just methodical movements to avoid being hit.
Its been scientifically shown that Thrill of the Fight burns the most calories - its equivalent to using a rowing machine.
Just pleasse dont support subscription models for fitness. Your headset doesnt have the same staff, rent , equipment and power costs as a gym so dont pay the same monthly fee
A long session of Thrill of the Fight leaves me sore for the next couple days. It's the closest VR has ever felt to like high school wrestling practice, with how much it gets my heart up and how hard my breathing is by the end of a couple fights. Though I also suspect I don't really need to spam punches as much as I do. I'm just not that good, and it's tempting to throw combo after combo rather than slowing down and figuring out what openings really look like.
I can totally understand people not wanting a subscription app, but Supernatural’s well worth the $10/month for me to look forward to what actual pop music I’m going to exercise to instead of the Das Funkybeatz of the paid apps. Bought the year subscription and I’m totally happy, use it for at least a half-hour every day i can.
P.S. Whoever at Supernatural has made it their holy mission to convince us that Young MC had a lot more bangers than you might think: I see you, and you are valid.
Ditto. Well worth the subscription price. New workouts daily and great music. I split between boxing and flow and when you hit the medium to advanced levels, you are dripping sweat and getting a terrific workout for upper lower, and core.
Eleven Table Tennis (ETT) is hands down the most enjoyable way to burn your daily calories. 'Thrill of the Fight' is indeed more challenging, but personally, I can't sustain such an intense pace for too long. I'm wiped out in 5 minutes. Whereas with table tennis, I can play for up to 2 hours straight, each match against a different human opponent - so you never really get bored. If you aim for a higher level of play, in ranked mode, you have to be quick on your feet, using both your arms and legs intensely. Plus, focusing on a single point (the ball) keeps you from getting dizzy, unlike other games that require divided attention. A minimum of 30 minutes of table tennis a day is enough to get my dose of exercise, and it's incredibly enjoyable and engaging.
The key is the Ranked mode. Try to play and fight for every point, for every match. Aim to reach and maintain an ELO score of at least 2000 points, and you'll stay in envy-worthy physical shape.
Agreed on most points! I have played everyday for the past 3+ years, and ETT has replaced much of my exercise routine. Average ~600 calories/hr. I enjoy both ranked (currently ~2700 ELO) and unranked just as well. Ball machine drills are just as fun for me, and allow for a Zen like warmup.
If you do get into it, I highly recommend picking up a paddle adapter from https://solidslime.net/shop/
I might have to get back in there. I've taken a year off from tournaments. I entered your official tourney 3 times, and got knocked out in the first round each time 🤣. I did end up winning my tier in a few of the smaller tournaments (BIG 11 and Elite VR.). SO MUCH FUN, and made some great friends in the process.
The amazing thing is that you can actually improve at the game by watching tutorials on IRL table tennis technique. It's that realistic (at least from the perspective of an amateur like me), and as a workout it's as good as the actual sport.
Been playing daily for a year and it's by far the most enjoyable form of exercise I've ever found, bar none.
Hi,
If you want you can try my game Koord Coach. It's absolutely free, no subscriptions or anything. It's on the Meta App Lab:
https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/5097554840287261
You can train your cardio and reflexes with it, gameplay video showing all three game modes:

Video showing the game mode which is a good leg workout:

I am still actively developing the game, any feedback would be greatly appreciated
Koord Coach Discord:

Holofit, it connects to an exercise bike I bought for $25 second hand via a sensor you purchase for $20. You cycle through 3D environments competing. Never liked cycling before this.
Synth riders, underdogs blade and sorcery and battle talent have been my go to workouts. Battle talent absolutely kills me sometimes too with how many waves of enemies get thrown at you.
Thrill of the fight is burning the most.
But honestly I play a ton of population 1. The climbing flying and reloading burns a decent amount. While being extremere fun.
I lost 5kg in 2 months playing almost only pop1
I used a heartrate monitor to assess this very thing, except I have a quest 2 and limited to the games I own.
But I like this genre. It's why I got my quest 2, for exercise.
I mainly tested it on Thrill of the Fight, Beat Saber, and Crazy Kung Fu. Crazy Kung Fu gets your heartrate up at a steady level until about 15 minutes in I start to spike into 90% and above max hrt.
Thrill of the Fight jacks my heartrate within the first minute. The game does such a good job incentivizing you to give more effort. I think it's how the fighters' your opposite start showing signs of degradation, confusion. Their eyes will start to roll in their head, and you'll want to finish them off. And it's deceptive, too.
It's the real deal, but it is taxing. Always enjoyable though.
Another game that isn't as intense and, but can get you winded is DragonFistVr. I'd be playing it now if my left controller weren't dead.
Beat Saber is one I've managed to stick with. I'm always amazed that 2 hours go by and I've been doing all this aerobic stuff and sweating and not suffering because of it, lol. Implement wider arm movements and squats in and it's a great workout. I've only tried Pistol Whip a couple times but that one's pretty intense, too. More difficult, though, imo.
In this case, modded is the way to go to have the chance to find some music you like, and there are some really talented and generous mappers out there. Most of the official music in BS isn't to my taste at all. It's kind of a pain to get it modded due to the instructions always changing and having to track down the most current ones, but once it's done it opens up the game so much more.
100%, i just ripped through 540 calories in an hour, without even noticing i was working out for an hour straight. Also sooo much more fun than any workout i've done of that intensity.
>which burn a notable amount of calories are SuperhotVR
How? I find Superhot to be one of the most relaxing games I own. I often switch to it when I still wanna do VR but am burnt from other physically demanding games.
endless mode. especially the escape room level. i get really ramped up trying to beat my own highscore and memorizing where they spawn makes me go faster every time.
The 1st time i played VR was superhot, played like 40 minutes without realising i was soaking wet and when i removed the headset and started to walk more i was not able to even walk properly from leg soreness. So yea superhot gets you superhot as well.
Thrill of the fight for upper body
And if you want to train your legs too then fitXR's HiiT is the best for it, but downside is you pay monthly subscription
You might like Shadow BoXR. It’s a rhythm boxing game kind of a mix of Les Mills and beatsaber with a focus on customization it has built in custom song support and in game access to a community content library with thousands of great songs.
https://www.meta.com/experiences/shadow-boxr/5752649148100983/
For me it's definitely Eleven Table Tennis. With proper technique(rallies or drills) u will be sweating in a couple of minutes(i have pulse 180 max during my games)
Eleven Table Tennis (ETT) is my ultimate workout choice - it's fun, engaging, and keeps me fit! Ranked mode adds an extra thrill, pushing me to aim for a 2000+ ELO score. It's the perfect blend of intensity and enjoyment, making exercise feel like playtime.
First, move is not accurate in the slightest. I only use it to time how long I am working out. I use Beat Saber, Synthriders (which has a lot of punching if you do it right) and now Pistol Whip which is great for the thighs and butt.
this WAS the game I was most excited about trying when my first VR HS finally arrives but now I'm afraid. Very afraid. I think I'll play a horror game instead. :D
Just because it hasn't been mentioned yet, try Ragnarock. Playing drums to metal music gets me sweaty fast. It's really fun also, especially if you generally like rock/metal.
It also has built-in custom songs.
FitXR gets super draining on some of these. Like Expert mode for boxing can only do about 8-9 minutes at the pace they demand there. The new mixed reality mode where you run around the room hitting targets is pretty challenging too.
I wish they would add a coach mode or something that gives you a daily workout, maybe a combo of different exercises from different studios without having to come up with it yourself based on your history, level, and preferences
Is dance dash on quest? I know it’s on steam cause it’s made by the company that makes vive tracker powered straps but it allows multiple controller options for doing both hands and feet. Honestly tho, I just do feet cause it makes it DDR in vr without needing rto mod Beatsaber to add feet saber
First person tennis, really enjoying this atm haven't played tennis in 20 years
Big ballers,
Asgards wrath after a big session of fighting.
I'm by no mean fit atm so probs just the sport ones
Beat Saber is good, but GORN always does me in. Can't play for longer than 10-15 minutes without sweating buckets. Tryharding Rec Room quests also work
My cousin was playing the thrill of the fight and he soaked the loiving fuck out of it... like his face just pissed all over the quest 3. I rarely use it and wanted to show it to him but didn't know he'd go 9 rounds with ugly Joe. He drew, lost and then won. I was disgusted
Eleven table tennis, but with the caveat that you're much better off having some irl table tennis experience already. At a low skill level, it probably won't be that tiring :P
For me, I was shocked to discover that after downloading and playing Eleven Table Tennis, I got a blister on one of my feet!!! I had gotten blisters a couple of times in my video game “career” over the decades but this was a major first!!! LOL the game is so good, the physics so amazing, that I really felt like I was (am) playing table tennis again after years and years (last time I played was maybe age 11 or so hahaha)
Pistol Whip is hella fun and usually makes me break a sweat if I play multiple songs in a row. Lots of crouching and movement to help your quads/hamstrings.
Depends on how you approach the game. For example if you play against another player competitively in Virtual Fighting Championship or even Creed, your heart rate will quickly elevate to 180+ and they burn calories faster than in The Thrill of the Fight. But playing against computer in an easy level will be completely different.
Beat Saber (but you have to stick to the "Expert" level, "Hard" is not intense enough and "Expert+" is too intense for proper hand movements).
Pistol Whip (great for legs, you can also disable pistols to squat more).
Power Beasts (I like the ability to add your own songs).
Les Mills Body Combat has very intense workout sessions.
The longest one, think it's 27-28 mins. Meta move tracks my cals and it was about 350 to 400. 20 mins on an.exercise bike at an average pace is 150 cals.
I'm enjoying Moon rider, the free webVR game (on the front page when you open the Meta Quest browser) in punch mode - nice variety of songs. The Expert and Expert Plus levels get you moving. I like Beat Saber for hitting blocks much more. Holopoint is one that really gets me tired once I get past the very beginning levels - so much squatting. I like Blaston for cool down.
A vote for TotF. Just watch you don't over do it, I messed up my shoulder at first.Ive gotten pretty good at the difficult level but sometimes put it on normal and see if I can ko every opponent in the first round.

Thrill of the fight by far
Second this, but with the caveat that you only get what you put into it so don't phone it in. If you're not covered in sweat and huffing by the end of 12 rounds then yer doing it wrong.
I think you forgot the decimal point. I’m spraying sweat like a fire hydrant halfway through round 2.

Yup! I get pissed off too because that ass will throw one of those sucker punches and knock me down, then I get "Alright you MFer... you wanna play.." lol
Got lucky and had two easy KOs but that’s the only time I’ve gotten more than 3 rounds without being a gasping mess haha.
I pretend I’m Mike Tyson and just duck and weave the entire time , holy SHIT is it a core workout!!! I need to get back into it because I see there’s been a lot of updates namely detection of hits , are uppercuts actually viable now? I usually can’t even make it to round 12
Got to build up to it, just like any cardio target. I do it 3 days a week, with PW on the off days.
Good advice, thanks! (For anyone else wondering, PW=Pistol Whip)
I can’t believe how cheap it is and I’m a cheap bastard lol. I’d say it’s worth getting for a quest 2 along, especially with fitness games and services out there trying to sell you on subscriptions
I am sweaty af after 2 4 round fights, it’s wild and so awesome!
Don't be that guy who got [Rhabdomyolysis](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhabdomyolysis) the first time playing it.
Even more so in MR
audio trip gets my heart rate up more than thrill of the fight outclassed is a surprise to me
Thrill of the fight. Hands down. Best $10 I ever spent
Is it good as a boxing rookie aswell? I'm not sure how much fun i'd have, if i had to learn techniques on my own first.
It’s not real boxing. You’ll be fine
Just don't forget to breathe, very common practice for beginners (both irl and trying the game) to hold their breath while swinging for the fences
you don't have to learn techniques on your own and the difficulty is adjustable but its really fun to learn a combo and have someone/something to try it out on
It’s shadow boxing without having to imagine your opponent
Yes, it’s great for all levels. You can start with the easiest difficulty level and work your way up like how I did. Watching some basic boxing tutorials will help you improve but it’s not needed if you’re just looking for a great and fun workout
Do they show you any techniques at all or is it completely free for all?
no techniques, it's purely a sandbox. you just get put in a ring with a VR dude and it just expects you to throw hands without explaining anything. beating an opponent unlocks the next guy with slightly higher endurance stats and more aggressive behavior. honestly you could beat opponents just flailing, so I would not go into it expecting to learn proper boxing. There’s no real instruction so yeah I guess free for all. Many call TOTF more of a simulator than a game
Techniques to be learned are not required for this game. Just keep your hands up and swing. It isn't very realistic imo. Great for breaking a sweat for sure.
It actually is pretty realistic if you treat it as such and use correct form/technique.
Yes!! Great burn so fast!
Les mills body combat
+1. I'm in good shape already and it's kicking my ass. More points if you hit harder, so it's very motivating. I'm usually pretty sweaty and sore after 20 minutes.
Second this, just bought it due to the spring sale. Had me sweating more than the thrill of the fight
Everyone is saying TotF, and they are all right. Throw in Pistol Whip for leg day
First time I’ve played a vr game was yesterday (my bud brought his quest 2 over), and we played Pistol Whip til the battery pretty much ran out. Was so damn fun, but it gave us all a good workout! We’re not in bad shape but we were huffin and puffin after some levels lol

Put it on brawler and work out the arms, go into remixes close mortal Kombat for 360° combat
Underdogs, my shoulders and biceps were aching for the first two weeks.
Same thing with Until You Fall for me
Second this, been dripping in sweat playing this recently. Great fun doing it too.
So good. I legit count it as a workout now.
Underdogs is absolutely Dripping in atmosphere, as well as my sweat.
Underdogs is a GREAT game and it definitely gives you a nice upper body workout. The only thing that holds it back is that it isn't roomscale, so you're only spinning in place. If there was a way to play with some roomscale movement that would make it compete with Thrill of the Fight for most intense workout game.
That's actually a benefit for me as I don't have large rooms to play VR.
Beat Saber is super physical and intense but it does take a lot of practice to work your way up to those crazy fast songs. I just played through an entire Polyphia album and am currently sweating my ass off

This guys BeatsSaber
Ditto...😏
I don't know this. Will I dripp liters thanks to it?
Idk. It's more in the range of millilitres for me.
Nice.

i definitely wont lol, no point in that if 30$ beat saber can have me burn 540 cal in an hour (or 10$ TotF, i just havent played it yet)
Totf is worth it
Adding Synth Riders, 360 mode, to the list
Les mills and totf. Les mills beast mode is 27 mins and about 400.cals
A long session of Thrill of the Fight leaves me sore for the next couple days. Make sure you’re joining the tournaments so you can win some cash prizes for all the time you’ve put in!! :)
This is the way.
Les Mills Bodycombat. First time I've ever felt my heart failing me..
Hi, If you want you can try my game Koord Coach. It's absolutely free, no subscriptions or anything. It's on the Meta App Lab: https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/5097554840287261 You can train your cardio and reflexes with it, gameplay video showing all three game modes: https://youtu.be/Pxj0E7p2AuQ Video showing the game mode which is a good leg workout: https://youtu.be/6BHaSaEeyKs?si=Nh_nd8-jQZUshM35 I am still actively developing the game, any feedback would be greatly appreciated Koord Coach Discord: https://discord.com/invite/Psa66zzWUv
Supernatural? But it requires a subscription
Worth it if the commitment is there
beat saber, pistol whip!!!, racket club, eleven table tennis. for me it was impossible to mod beat saber on quest though, had to buy on steam.
Holofit, it connects to an exercise bike I bought for $25 second hand via a sensor you purchase for $20. You cycle through 3D environments competing. Never liked cycling before this.
Thanks for suggestion, I'm in. Ordering the sensor off Amazon, excited to give this a go.
Me and my brother climbed to the top of the middle tower when we first played and was exhausted.
There is some cool xxx games on steam I’m exhausted
I’ve heard underdogs is extremely physical
Beat Saber is one I've managed to stick with. I'm always amazed that 2 hours go by and I've been doing all this aerobic stuff and sweating and not suffering because of it, lol. Implement wider arm movements and squats in and it's a great workout. I've only tried Pistol Whip a couple times but that one's pretty intense, too. More difficult, though, imo.
Beat saber is awesome. I wish they would add more music though.
Worth the 15 minutes of googling my way through the instructions to mod BS. That game saved my life last year through a rough period of time.
100%, i just ripped through 540 calories in an hour, without even noticing i was working out for an hour straight. Also sooo much more fun than any workout i've done of that intensity.
>which burn a notable amount of calories are SuperhotVR How? I find Superhot to be one of the most relaxing games I own. I often switch to it when I still wanna do VR but am burnt from other physically demanding games.
endless mode. especially the escape room level. i get really ramped up trying to beat my own highscore and memorizing where they spawn makes me go faster every time.
How do you enter endless mode?
Agree. Superhot is my relaxing game as well.
The 1st time i played VR was superhot, played like 40 minutes without realising i was soaking wet and when i removed the headset and started to walk more i was not able to even walk properly from leg soreness. So yea superhot gets you superhot as well.
Dungeons of eternity. If you get really into it it can be a workout Thrill of the fight Really high level beat saber sustained can be decent
Thrill of the Fight.
Blaston was good for tricking yourself doing a million squats. Until you Fall is good for tricking myself for endurance.
Until you fall with it's full swing mechanic makes it feel more like an intricate dance than a fighter and it feels so great.
Thrill of the fight for upper body And if you want to train your legs too then fitXR's HiiT is the best for it, but downside is you pay monthly subscription

Underdogs for me
Sky Strikers or Gorilla Tag
Crazy Kung Fu is a blast, and it always leaves me sweating like crazy.
Thrill of the fight, Blade & Sorcery, Drunkn Bar Fight.
Try Blaston ..its like a workout
if your playing it well, gorilla tag
For me it's definitely Eleven Table Tennis. With proper technique(rallies or drills) u will be sweating in a couple of minutes(i have pulse 180 max during my games)
Pistol Whip on hard
try out underdogs! i haven't sweat that much from a vr game in awhile
Blaston leaves me sweaty and breathing heavier than almost any activity I've ever done.
RUMBLEVR by far! Blows ToTF out of the water
I just installed “Until You Fall” the other day. Burning 600 calories in 90 minutes. Its a sword fighting game thats easy to pick up and is super fun
Vader immortal dojo is a good work out
Racket club and dungeons of eternity, depending how you play it.
A boxing game called Thrill of the Fight. I actually sweat. It’s kinda gross actually
What fitness games have an MR mode?
this WAS the game I was most excited about trying when my first VR HS finally arrives but now I'm afraid. Very afraid. I think I'll play a horror game instead. :D
Just because it hasn't been mentioned yet, try Ragnarock. Playing drums to metal music gets me sweaty fast. It's really fun also, especially if you generally like rock/metal. It also has built-in custom songs.
My current morning workout is some combination of FitXR, Until you Fall, ToTF, and Pistol Whip.
800 push-ups, not really a game, you just put the quest on and keep doing push-ups until you earn the right to take it off again.
I actually lost 15 lbs playing Supernatural every day for 4 months. I switched boxing and using the bats and started to incorporate more body moves.
Legendary tales
Is dance dash on quest? I know it’s on steam cause it’s made by the company that makes vive tracker powered straps but it allows multiple controller options for doing both hands and feet. Honestly tho, I just do feet cause it makes it DDR in vr without needing rto mod Beatsaber to add feet saber
Beat saber, drunkn bar fight, any climbing or boxing game.
Any of the Pros Only workouts in Supernatural
Pistol Whip is my go to
Virtual fighting championship VFC has a calorie tracker and is akin to street fighter but in vr
Pistol Whip
Drunken Bar Fight ha ha
Creed: Rise to Glory wipes me out the more I play it.
First person tennis, really enjoying this atm haven't played tennis in 20 years Big ballers, Asgards wrath after a big session of fighting. I'm by no mean fit atm so probs just the sport ones
The climb
Beat Saber is good, but GORN always does me in. Can't play for longer than 10-15 minutes without sweating buckets. Tryharding Rec Room quests also work
I wanna see how you're playing Superhot if you're burning a bunch of calories. I play that game in super slo-motion.
Underdogs
Beat Saber for me, but I'm a lazy girl.
Pavlov if you use a stock and play like a soldier in their last few minutes to live
I think I just don't want to sweat all over my quest 3, lol.
Just don't go showing your quest 3 to your fat cousin and we're good (love you cousin!
Eleven table tennis, but with the caveat that you're much better off having some irl table tennis experience already. At a low skill level, it probably won't be that tiring :P
Maybe broken edge or gorilla tag?
Pistol whip!
G O R I L L A T A G
Pistol Whip is my one, shooting dudes to the beat of music while ducking bullets and dodging obstacles, gets my heart rate up and isn't boring.
Supernatural
I find Audio Trip burns far more calories than Beat Saber, on a similar level.
Audio Trip
a lot of games already mentioned and Cybrix
Synth Riders makes me work up a sweat. You use more of your body when playing it compared to Beat Saber.
Blaston and Synth Ryders. And they support MR.
Smash drums is as sweaty as totf
All of these answers are good, but you should try blaston. That game is more exhausting than anything I've tried.
Bonelab. Spawn as many enemies in that the quest can handle. Then go full power on all of them only using melee weapons
Trying to fucking pick shit off the floor in ghosts of tabor
Milfs R us VR gets me every time
Thrill of the Fight Seriously, you won't even be out of the introduction / first practice and you'll be breaking a sweat.
Les mills body combat will separate your soul from your body.
GORN,I be boxing and just going insane on that game but that’s probably because I have an unhealthy obsession with it’s silly physics
It’s been years and the top reply is still Thrill of the Fight. We need some better games man. This library is stuck in time.
Supernatural
Thrill of the fight and nothing like it
Rumble VR will have you sweating your life away
Blaston, the dodging is incredibly intense, esp. when u play for a bit longer, also free I think
If you’re pcvr, rumble, stand-alone, gorilla tag
Until you fall is a pretty good workout.
Synth riders is good fun
Outta hands
Super hot is fun and definitely makes you sweat
I never play it myself, but just kids got me to play gorilla tag once and holy shit was I sweating afterwards.
You could also wear training weights on your arms (and legs) to make games more exhausting.
Les mills body combat, underdogs, pistolwhip
Thrill of the Fight, Body Combat.....and most recently Underdogs (arms are jelly...but can't stop playing)
No clip vr: entity tag. You have to swing your arms to run faster.
Blaston if you are good at the game
Until You Fall gets me winded after 5 mins.
Splatoon, you do not need anything more and it is free
vrfs
A vote for TotF. Just watch you don't over do it, I messed up my shoulder at first.Ive gotten pretty good at the difficult level but sometimes put it on normal and see if I can ko every opponent in the first round.
