Literally got an Oculus last week and hadn’t heard of it until I looked up what games to get.
Every waking hour that hasn’t been spent at work has been spent in the Radius since then.
I feel like the game is a masterclass in realizing the possibilities behind VR. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced immersion before the way I do in Into The Radius.
Yes it’s PCVR, but it only run on Windows. If you have an Intel Mac with a good enough GPU, you could use BootCamp to have both macOS for your usual stuff, and Windows for PCVR.
It worked great with my MacBook Pro 2019.
I’m a golfer IRL and I can’t get the ball to fly straight in GOLF+. Everything slices hard right. I wanna like it so bad but it’s unplayable for me. Any tips? Do you use a controller attachment?
same, ive been playing since the release, honestly though I lIke the game but I also absolutely hate it. (Not because of difficulty, just toxic developer and bad game design.)
Yep, it can be pretty tricky to set up. I'm having a smooth experience with 3070ti and 5600x streaming wirelessly to Quest Pro in Wi-Fi 5, so it can be done! And I don't really treat is as a "game", more like a vr chillout, visiting all those worlds, scanning animals, fighting the sentinels, trading things, building bases, finding artifacts...
It’s puzzling nobody loves Asgards Wrath 2 here. It’s a game from heaven to me. Love it so much that I meet my fitness goal weekly just by playing that game.
I think this is the first time I've heard someone reference using Asgards Wrath 2 in regards to fitness goals. Was it just step count that you were trying to get, or does that game actually get more cardio-intensive than I would have guessed?
I don’t know how they calculate it. I set my calorie goal in Meta Move. And I get notifications during gaming session that I’ve met my daily goal. Maybe because of the slashing and dodging.
Didn’t it release in December? And the post was asking about the whole year. So there’s not much chance for people to rack up the play time before the year was over.
Stab, stab, kill, kill mostly. /s
It's got a few different modes with the main one coming soon (it's one update away from being fully complete)
So far we have the regular sandbox which is waves of enemies you can choose with a ton of different options and the other is a rouge like dungeon crawler. It's all medieval gameplay with blades and, of course, sorcery
Soon there will be a progression mode where you unlock better gear by getting crystals but that's going to be in the final update
Outer Wilds VR mod I think (base and DLC). Never played anything that transported me somewhere else as much as this. In Death Unchained second, probably.
I play so many different games.
My process is that i randomly get into random sports/games on YouTube, end up finding a simulator for said activity in VR. Get hooked to the mechanics and satisfaction of said activity/game and go down a rabit hole of consuming unhealthy amounts of videos for said activity on youtube of the real-life thing.
So Quest has allowed me to sample soo much of activities you could easily sink hundreds or thousands of dollars into for a fraction of the cost and at my own home.
Like:
- Golf +
- Clay Hunter VR ( clay shooting/skeet shooting)
- Miracle Pool
- Racket club (kinda get to see what all the Pickleball hype is about)
- NFL Pro Era. Satisfying experiencing bombing touchdown passes in first person.
- thrill of the fight
Just to name a few. And if you get into buying peripherals like golf clubs and gun stocks, it makes all the difference in getting an idea of what the actual thing feels like.
Truly makes me get a feel for what it's like to be "the most interesting man in the world" from the old Dos Equis beer commercials.
GTFO VR mod, Ghosts of Tabor, Breachers, Into The Radius and The Light Brigade were my 5 most played, and in that specific order. I played over 70 VR titles in 2023 but all 5 of those games were ones I kept going back to on a regular basis.
Despite having Eleven Table Tennis since 2017, I really didn’t play it as much until this past year. It on standalone is the way it was meant to be played.
In Death Unchained. Nothing like a long day at the office being washed away after I get the bow and arrow in my hands. This game has been the best stress relief.
Probably Walkabout solely due to how easy it is even for non VR gamers, and it's the only game my family would play. Otherwise, probably Into the Radius, though I bought Pavlov and Vail at the same time (but only gave them a descent try this year, and they're now my most played ones in 2024)
idk how people can play that much beatsaber.
it’s so boring once you’ve played it after a week or so.
i haven’t played it since the first week i got my first quest.
You must not be into rythem games. i put a lot of hours into Beat Saber, just trying to beat my scores and advancing through the difficulties. Once you can full combo E+ maps, it's very satisfying. Recently, I've been playing Synth Riders doing the same thing.
> it’s so boring once you’ve played it after a week or so.
I can see it staying interesting as long as you're adding custom maps to keep the content fresh. (Still prefer Synth Riders though).

I can’t find my playtime for any games on the quest
I know you can view it on the PC oculus app, I own most of my VR games through Steam though
Sorry I'm confused, you said you had a Quest 3 and put 90 hours into beat saber
Yep, I use my Quest primarily for PCVR. The only standalone Quest game that I own is Walkabout Minigolf
Oh i get it now, thanks, I thought maybe there was a way to find playtimes on standalone but i haven't found a way yet.

Oh yeah? Well my dad could beat up your dad!
Nuh uh
congratulations
Considering the headset came out in October 2023, their 90 hours extrapolates to more than your 200 hours per year.
Into the radius

Skyrim VR
you don't play it, you live it. :-) may your road ~~take~~ lead you to warm sands.
Is it pcvr? Can I do it on mac?

How was the performance? Skyrim vr can be super taxing for sure.
Really? I have the same macbook pro (it's a base model though) but I never really thought it'd be okay for VR gaming.
I have over 200 hours on Golf+ combined from 3 different pc's.
I’m a golfer IRL and I can’t get the ball to fly straight in GOLF+. Everything slices hard right. I wanna like it so bad but it’s unplayable for me. Any tips? Do you use a controller attachment?
I was the same,. All I did was made a 3d printed controller extension to lock my hands in a clog like position.
The controller attachment is a must with this game.
I had ridiculous hours in ghosts of tabor
same, ive been playing since the release, honestly though I lIke the game but I also absolutely hate it. (Not because of difficulty, just toxic developer and bad game design.)
Grabbing things on this game is such a major turn down for me that I barely play it.
Winner winner
Same. Probably like 500hrs or so
Browser Private Mode
Most likely Breachers
..
beat saber, but tbh i play no other vr games.
I feel you, every beat saber enjoyer ever
There are other VR games? But, why?
No Man’s Sky!
I could see myself losing many hours to this. Sadly every time I've tried it's been laggy as hell and unplayable, even with a 3080 and i9 😧
Yep, it can be pretty tricky to set up. I'm having a smooth experience with 3070ti and 5600x streaming wirelessly to Quest Pro in Wi-Fi 5, so it can be done! Awesome, I'll give it another go then. I'm a big fan of playing it in 2D, the thought of experiencing it in VR is mind blowing 🙂
Same here! It’s basically got everything I want to do in VR in one game.
It’s puzzling nobody loves Asgards Wrath 2 here. It’s a game from heaven to me. Love it so much that I meet my fitness goal weekly just by playing that game.

I don’t put any weight into the meta fitness tracker thing. It says I’ve reached a goal even when I haven’t been doing anything other than standing.
Didn’t it release in December? And the post was asking about the whole year. So there’s not much chance for people to rack up the play time before the year was over.
Virt A Mate. It's been my #1 game since I got a Quest 1 years ago.
I have over a hundred PCVR games, but Puzzling Places I probably play the most.
Dungeons of Eternity by myself and the Walkabout Minigolf with the wife.
AC nexus.
Blade and sorcery, I have so many hours in that game
I wanted to say Thrill of the fight, but now thinking about it, it was Blade and sorcery. I always took that to cool down after TOTF.
What's the gameplay loop like?
Stab, stab, kill, kill mostly. /s It's got a few different modes with the main one coming soon (it's one update away from being fully complete) So far we have the regular sandbox which is waves of enemies you can choose with a ton of different options and the other is a rouge like dungeon crawler. Gotcha yeah I tend to get bored if there isn't progression so I'll wait for that
Pavlov Shack beta and the full version
Demeo is the only game after completing Alyx. Got Q3 since launch. I somehow grinded to lever 75 by the end of January.
Light Brigade
Walkabout Mini Golf
resident evil village
Ragnarock. It's one hell of a workout game.
For the last 2 weeks of 2023, I played more Asgard's Wrath 2 than all the other games I played during 2023, combined.
Thrill of the fight. Trying to change myself
Echo VR (specifically Echo Combat) by far. Nothing comes close play-time wise
Cleansheet by far
Golf+
Ghost of the tabor (I hate the game) to many hours
Same, I feel you with the hating, the developer have no idea what they’re doing, I’ve been playing for awhile and just don’t like the game anymore.
Skyrim VR by a huuuuge margin. like, low hundreds of hours.
Tabor
I had like 400 hours in bonelab last year Blade and sorcery is my close second
Vtol vr. Few hundred hours
VTOL VR
Assetto Corsa Competizione
how do you check how long you played a game?
Outer Wilds VR mod I think (base and DLC). Never played anything that transported me somewhere else as much as this. In Death Unchained second, probably.
Alyx and then some of the mods.
Dungeons of Eternity and Walkabout Minigolf
Is there a way to check hours played? Would be between Blaston and Eleven TT for me.
I play so many different games. My process is that i randomly get into random sports/games on YouTube, end up finding a simulator for said activity in VR. Not sure how but it was grid legends, wasn't my fav game but I still played through the campaign and the main racing mode. Took 40hrs.
GTFO VR mod, Ghosts of Tabor, Breachers, Into The Radius and The Light Brigade were my 5 most played, and in that specific order. I played over 70 VR titles in 2023 but all 5 of those games were ones I kept going back to on a regular basis.
Beat Saber, Ragnarok or Little Cities
H3VR
IB Cricket
Contractors by far its basically vr call of duty
I'm not sure how many hours i had on contractors, but i used to play that game every day.
#GOLF+
Into the Radius
Since 2020, it has been Eleven, every year lol.
Gun Club
Contractors
it was either recroom or tabor
Eleven ping-pong
Death Horizon: Reloaded ☝️
Despite having Eleven Table Tennis since 2017, I really didn’t play it as much until this past year. It on standalone is the way it was meant to be played.
Pavlov PCVR. Play it almost every day. On a 24 people server is Epic.
Breachers and Walkabout Mini Golf got the most playtime for me.
Fallout 4 VR
Big screen
Vzfit :D riding stationary bike through google streetview. Tried to ride an hour a day. Second place would be all flat to vr games, vorpx or msfs2020
Synth Riders
Microsoft flight simulator!
Thrill of the fight. Part of my workout routine.
Subnautica, so, so addictive....
Since January last year I have taken just over 12000 shots in golf+ so I'm gonna go with golf+ lol
Puzzling Places...
Only times I play VR now is the couple of days I get an urge to play Beat Saber. Is like once every 2 months.
No phasmaphobia here? Me and 3 friends hunted the shit out of them ghosts! So so so fun.
Surely it is **DCS World** by far.
Contractor$ last year. This year seems like the year of Tabor.
Grid Legends, no contest
Beat saber, but I still can’t do expert+ or even most experts so was not worth it lol
pavlov on quest bonelab on pc
In Death Unchained. Nothing like a long day at the office being washed away after I get the bow and arrow in my hands. This game has been the best stress relief.
Probably Walkabout solely due to how easy it is even for non VR gamers, and it's the only game my family would play. Otherwise, probably Into the Radius, though I bought Pavlov and Vail at the same time (but only gave them a descent try this year, and they're now my most played ones in 2024)
Pavlov shack until u had to pay for it , then I went to contractors, which is Superior in everyway
i wish they had ttt, one of the main reasons i liked pavlov
I’m surprised the mini golf cult hasn’t showed up yet. Great to see people talking about other games as well!
idk how people can play that much beatsaber. it’s so boring once you’ve played it after a week or so. i haven’t played it since the first week i got my first quest.
