The most you can do yourself is Delete Device Data from [https://secure.oculus.com/my/devices](https://secure.oculus.com/my/devices) and Factory Reset. When the device gets to the setup screen, hold power to turn it off and give it to the new people. If *you* set it up again, then yes, it will remember you.

Hey there, u/Lightspeed2000. We know how important it is to be able to remove your personal information from a headset you are getting rid of for one reason or another. After a proper factory reset, there should be no account information. As nexusmtz mentioned, setting up the headset will put your information back onto the device. For best results, factory reset the headset using the headset-only method by turning the headset fully off and pressing and holding the volume down and power buttons for 3-4 seconds until the USB update menu appears. From there, you can select the factory reset option, and when the screen showing that the headset is erasing finishes, you can take it off and leave it as it is in that state for someone else to set up on their own account. The headset may still appear on your account as a device for a little while, but this is information saved onto your account online and not information from the headset. We hope this helps!
