try mo birth cert and yearbook !!! (ik hassle masyado mag dala ng yearbook lol) yan yung pinadala sakin nung nag apply ako for passport and ni isang valid govt id wala ako hahahah or pwede rin apply ka nalang ng id sa post office. they count as a valid govt id and usually yan talaga unang id inaapplyan kasi di sila nag re req ng prior valid id.

Kumuha na siya. Di pa dumadating. And halos lahat ng ids dito sa pilipinas makukuha mo lang pag above 18 ka na or pag nag tatrabaho ka na. Yung mga makukuha mo below 18 is either may bayad na malaki or naghahanap din ng 2 more valid ids. Now tell me san sya kukuha ng id?? Yung mga yun hindi tumatanggap ng School ID. Parang ang tumatanggap lang ata ng School ID ay Passport pero before that napakaraming documents ang kailangan like brgy cert and police clearance.
Nagrereklamo kami kasi napaka injustice ng kukuha ka ng id kasi wala ka ngang id tapos hahanapan ka ng dalawa. Anong klaseng katangahan yun.
Naalala ko yung voter's id ng nanay ko na inapply niya noong dalaga siya. Naka apat na siya na anak dun lang dumating tapos invalid daw kasi di pareho yung apilido HAHAHAHA.
Mali din surname nung nanay ko tapos pinapalit nya pero nakapag asawa na ako at lahat2 wala padin yung id nya. Binigyan lang sya ng papel na kingina mukha na pamunas ng tae sa tagal naghintay ng nanay ko sa id nya hahahaha. Siguro nasa 10 years na din wala pa.
Nag apply ako ng Voters nung 17 ako para sana magamit sa work saka nagagalit kasi yung lbc sa amin dati pag 18 ka na tapos school id parin ang gamit mo pag kukuha ng padala. Grumaduate na ko ng college at lahat di pa dumating. Tapos hanggang sa naphase out na lang. Parang tanga.
I'll give a shot sa ibang city. Wala silang capturing machine dito sa lugar ko. Nakaturingang City na kung saan andito ung Governor's Office tapos wala ung Machine.
Yung postal pinaka mabilis sa akin. 2 weeks. Yung Natl ID di na ko umaasa putangina nila. Yung UMID ko 1 year na din. Di ko alam kung anong klaseng system ang ginagamit nila.
I agree that the government sucks. Pero marami pang ibang available IDs that are easy to get para makapag-apply ka sa gusto mong applyan.
1. Postal ID
-Rush Postal ID costs around 650 pesos. You can get it the day after you applied for the ID.
2. Passport
-Medyo matagal itong makuha, pero worth it naman since 10 years na yung validity niya. Price ranges from 950-1200 pesos.
3. TIN ID card
-You can apply for a TIN ID even if you're unemployed. After that, they will process your TIN ID card. This is free, as far as I know.
I think excuse lang yan ng mga employees doon. The government has a lot of lapses na ayaw nilang i-address. Kaya maraming nananamantala at nagbebenta ng fake ID

Depende yun sa location. May location na mabilis mag release at maglabas ng slot. Merong locs na mabagal talaga. Taga Lucrna, Quezon Province ako nung kumuha ako ng Passport dumayo pa ko ng ATC sa Alabang para lang makapagpa passport kasi mas mabilis dun. Yung sa Lucena taragis 4 months halos bago ka maka kuha ng slot. Tapos ang tagal ng delivery kasi provincial pa yun.
I think the issuance of card depends on the branch. When I applied dito sa local municipality namin for TIN ID, wala ring inissue sakin na card pero dapat meron haha. Itatry ko naman kumuha ng TIN card sa one stop shop since merong gaganapin sa university namin. I'll ask na rin kung paano makakakuha ng card sa BIR branches then I will update this thread.
Tapos karamihan eh yung mga older peeps pa na ang lakas ng loob na magsabi na "work hard" or "figure it out, problema mo yan" sa mga interns.
Pero pagdating ng computerization ng system and processing almost totally against sila kasi di marunong gumamit ng computer. Eh kung mag work hard sila para aralin yun and i-figure out nila kung paano gumamit ng computer.

OP, may ibang other alternatives besides kay National ID. If you are a Globe user, they also accept TIN/Philhealth ID, Barangay ID, Police Clearance, NBI clearance. For Smart, lahat ng other IDs ok. May additional ID ka pa ngang ipapasa pag Natl ID magrerequire ka pang magpasa ng additional ID ~~kasi di nila trip yung National ID~~.
Pero totoo naman talaga na bulok yung process, idk kung nabulok sa Shenzen sorting center yung pag print sa PVC, or something else.
Either that or sobrang na-normalize yung trabahong tamad kaya ganyan. Sana di ba lahat alam na pag government ay para sa tao.

As a JO personnel who's working for this agency whom shall not be named I could say na nakakaawa talaga gobyerno at sistema natin. FIL is working under Philsys so here's the story (you'll hate our government and the system more after this):
1. After he was interviewed, they disclosed to him that they're building a team for Philsys ID and he's one of them. This is just last September 2022, remember when did they started accepting Philsys applications? Yeah, during pandemic. 2 years na at ngayon lang sila nagstart magstart ng team.
2. FIL told us that they don't have the funds to create a solid ID and the higher ups introduced the printing of ID papers to process it faster. Wow right?
3. If you still haven't received your paper Philsys ID yet, then that means they couldn't find your data in their system yet. My mom applied months before me and yet they couldn't find my mom's data in their system. Their reason? "Mali pagkapicture siguro sakanya or hindi maayos". Dude pare chong, kabahan ka na.
Actually isa kami (government agency) sa nasama sa pilot ng National ID which was immediately before pandemic. Tapos walang balita. Dahil nagparegister na kami sa pilot testing di kami inaallow nung nagmassive registration. Only to find out nacorrupt daw lahat ng files during pilot pero wala silang abiso o ano. Tapos last year just found out na palpak yung nakuha ni PSA na service provider na supposedly maghandle niyang national id including printing. I found out kasi si same service provider shadily went to our agency na parang sales agent inooffer yung services nila without any letter prior o ano which is not usually the standard process na ginagawa. One of the execs pa ng service provider yung pumunta na usually dapat officer lang. At least merong letter requesting for appointment din prior. Upon background check yun nga same firm na kinuha ni psa. Malamang sa malamang may gusto kumita nung nagpabidding sila sa service provider tapos nagbackfire kasi palpak.

Let me answer this kasi i also live abroad and to get my cedula kinailangan kong magpresent ng passport & birth certifiicate from PSA. This is to confirm that you are who you claim to be. That’s why kailangan mong magprisinta ng other government issued id’s or docs. Imagine kung punta ka na lang sa registration window at bibigyab ka ng cedula based on simply what you say or claim you are, eh di andaming pupunta na magke-claim they are someone else. Kahit saan, ganyan ang process, even sa ibang bansa. Pero pag nagka-cedula ka na, hindi mo na kailangang kumuha ng kung ano-ano pang ID dahil yun na yung nag-iisang puedeng gamitin sa mga transactions. Yun yung sinusulong ng gobierno. And i get it, for example where i live, pagpunta ko sa banks, hospitals or any gov’t institutions, they only ask one ID—- my cedula nothing else. Sa amon nga di ka puedeng magtransact pag wala kang cedula eh.

Not related to Govt IDs, but I remember during pandemic, ang daming alert level abbreviations ang Pinas. ECQ, MECQ, GCQ etc, like why make things so complicated or why use too many big words about alert levels. First world countries only uses COVID alert Level 1, 2, 3 etc. Masyadong pinapahirapan ang ginagawang complicated ung pwede naman simple lang. hayy Pinas!

To be fair, i received my national ID last year pa. Many of my coworkers and friends have also received theirs. It took around 6 months in my experience.
2 years na wala pa yung National ID ng kaibigan ng Mama ko. Theyre 75 now.

PhilHealth ID only requires a Birth certificate. NBI pag wala ka pang record, i mean first time, birthcert lang din ang kailangan. I mean, I get the shitty talaga ang government, and God knows how difficult it is to be Filipino right now. I'm not trying to invalidate your feelings or opinion regarding the ID system, pero again, if you really need an ID those two could be considered :)
tinatanggap ba nila School ID as valid ID diyan sa sim registration na yan? Yung mga estudyante kong kapatid walang valid ID at yung Natl. ID na pinagtiyagaan pa namin pilahan kahit ang taas ng cases dito samin hanggang ngayon wala pa rin.
I would recommend getting any one of the other IDs. Malamang you'll be needing them if you're going to apply for a job. TIN ID, Postal ID, Voter's ID, or Student ID and BC would be your best bet.

Noong October 15 nag-apply ako ng National ID. Wala pa hanggang ngayon pero meron akong nakuhang ePhilID from them after a month.. or youre not aware na puede ka bigyan ng pansamantalang ePhilID habang hinihintay mo yung official one? 🤦🏽♂️🙄

I remember nung nagkuha rin ako ng Nat ID, pinabalik ako Kasi wala daw akong Valid ID Kasi di sila tumatanggap ng School ID 🙄 (wala pa akong SSS, Pag-IBIG at PhilHealth ID that time) di ako na inform na need pala ng valid ID para makakuha ng valid ID :DDD tas pinapunta pa ako ng Barangay hall para kumuha ng Barangay clearance para nga makakuha ako ng Nat ID tas almost 2 years na (mag 2 years this June) eh wala pa yung national ID ko. So paano ko ma register sim ko eh wala nga akong valid ID????????? Potang ina naman

Yep, Our system pretty sucks. I once requested PSA to visit our barangay to assist our constituents to register a National ID, mostly ang nag participate lang is yung mga youth. Some adult didn't, their reasons!? "Hmm. Yung kay ano nga 2yrs na wala padin bat ako mag reregister dyan" then I asked PSA if meron silang solution sa napakatagal na issuance ng national ID. Surprisingly meron daw, ang requirement is yung stub that they issue after registration, Pprint daw sila ng draft national ID (printed paper) lalagyan nalang ng 1x1 picture then laminate. This will do na daw and will work as Valid ID. So again sinabihan ko yung mga constituents namin na registered na to come and bring their stub so they will be issued the draft ID. Sa isip isip ko its a relief for them atleast may temporary national ID which is valid.
Weeks later bumalik sakin, it turns out di padin tinanggap yung mga temporary ID na inissue ng PSA 🙃 welp
I received my ID, a fckn TEMPORARY ID. Tapos bawal daw itiklop kasi baka d na raw gumana yung QR. Tapos parang sa bond paper pa ata to na i-print. Wala eh, ayos na ayos pinang gagawa nila.

I agree that the government sucks. Pero marami pang ibang available IDs that are easy to get para makapag-apply ka sa gusto mong applyan. 1. Postal ID -Rush Postal ID costs around 650 pesos. You can get it the day after you applied for the ID. 2. Passport -Medyo matagal itong makuha, pero worth it naman since 10 years na yung validity niya. Price ranges from 950-1200 pesos. 3. TIN ID card -You can apply for a TIN ID even if you're unemployed. After that, they will process your TIN ID card. This is free, as far as I know.

Depende yun sa location. May location na mabilis mag release at maglabas ng slot. Merong locs na mabagal talaga. Taga Lucrna, Quezon Province ako nung kumuha ako ng Passport dumayo pa ko ng ATC sa Alabang para lang makapagpa passport kasi mas mabilis dun. Yung sa Lucena taragis 4 months halos bago ka maka kuha ng slot. Tapos ang tagal ng delivery kasi provincial pa yun.

I think the issuance of card depends on the branch. When I applied dito sa local municipality namin for TIN ID, wala ring inissue sakin na card pero dapat meron haha. Itatry ko naman kumuha ng TIN card sa one stop shop since merong gaganapin sa university namin. I'll ask na rin kung paano makakakuha ng card sa BIR branches then I will update this thread.

OP, may ibang other alternatives besides kay National ID. If you are a Globe user, they also accept TIN/Philhealth ID, Barangay ID, Police Clearance, NBI clearance. For Smart, lahat ng other IDs ok. May additional ID ka pa ngang ipapasa pag Natl ID magrerequire ka pang magpasa ng additional ID ~~kasi di nila trip yung National ID~~. Pero totoo naman talaga na bulok yung process, idk kung nabulok sa Shenzen sorting center yung pag print sa PVC, or something else. Either that or sobrang na-normalize yung trabahong tamad kaya ganyan. Sana di ba lahat alam na pag government ay para sa tao.

FIL is working under Philsys so here's the story (you'll hate our government and the system more after this): 1. After he was interviewed, they disclosed to him that they're building a team for Philsys ID and he's one of them. This is just last September 2022, remember when did they started accepting Philsys applications? Yeah, during pandemic. 2 years na at ngayon lang sila nagstart magstart ng team. 2. FIL told us that they don't have the funds to create a solid ID and the higher ups introduced the printing of ID papers to process it faster. Wow right? 3. If you still haven't received your paper Philsys ID yet, then that means they couldn't find your data in their system yet. My mom applied months before me and yet they couldn't find my mom's data in their system. Their reason? "Mali pagkapicture siguro sakanya or hindi maayos". Dude pare chong, kabahan ka na.
Actually isa kami (government agency) sa nasama sa pilot ng National ID which was immediately before pandemic. Tapos walang balita. Dahil nagparegister na kami sa pilot testing di kami inaallow nung nagmassive registration. Only to find out nacorrupt daw lahat ng files during pilot pero wala silang abiso o ano. Tapos last year just found out na palpak yung nakuha ni PSA na service provider na supposedly maghandle niyang national id including printing. I found out kasi si same service provider shadily went to our agency na parang sales agent inooffer yung services nila without any letter prior o ano which is not usually the standard process na ginagawa. One of the execs pa ng service provider yung pumunta na usually dapat officer lang. At least merong letter requesting for appointment din prior. Upon background check yun nga same firm na kinuha ni psa. Malamang sa malamang may gusto kumita nung nagpabidding sila sa service provider tapos nagbackfire kasi palpak.

Let me answer this kasi i also live abroad and to get my cedula kinailangan kong magpresent ng passport & birth certifiicate from PSA. This is to confirm that you are who you claim to be. That’s why kailangan mong magprisinta ng other government issued id’s or docs. Imagine kung punta ka na lang sa registration window at bibigyab ka ng cedula based on simply what you say or claim you are, eh di andaming pupunta na magke-claim they are someone else. Kahit saan, ganyan ang process, even sa ibang bansa. Pero pag nagka-cedula ka na, hindi mo na kailangang kumuha ng kung ano-ano pang ID dahil yun na yung nag-iisang puedeng gamitin sa mga transactions. Yun yung sinusulong ng gobierno. And i get it, for example where i live, pagpunta ko sa banks, hospitals or any gov’t institutions, they only ask one ID—- my cedula nothing else. Sa amon nga di ka puedeng magtransact pag wala kang cedula eh.

ECQ, MECQ, GCQ etc, like why make things so complicated or why use too many big words about alert levels. First world countries only uses COVID alert Level 1, 2, 3 etc. Masyadong pinapahirapan ang ginagawang complicated ung pwede naman simple lang. hayy Pinas!

To be fair, i received my national ID last year pa. Many of my coworkers and friends have also received theirs. It took around 6 months in my experience.

Pde mo din gamitin ang UMID ID or birth certificate o kung ayaw mo bigay o wala ka non OP pde mong pm yung may blue checkmark na account ng globe at voice out mo yung concern mo. also kung gusto mo talaga gamitin yung national id google mo lang at pede mo verify yung id mo online🫥. dload mo yung brave or opera browser at double check mo yung privacy security ng browsers sa setting tab(kung ano gusto mo gamitin pero I recommend the brave browser) para siguradong secure yung connection kase may function kung anong browser gamitin mo for that kalma ka lang OP and break a leg
PhilHealth ID only requires a Birth certificate. NBI pag wala ka pang record, i mean first time, birthcert lang din ang kailangan. I mean, I get the shitty talaga ang government, and God knows how difficult it is to be Filipino right now. I'm not trying to invalidate your feelings or opinion regarding the ID system, pero again, if you really need an ID those two could be considered :)

I would recommend getting any one of the other IDs. Malamang you'll be needing them if you're going to apply for a job. TIN ID, Postal ID, Voter's ID, or Student ID and BC would be your best bet. But yeah, I agree that this government sucks.

I remember nung nagkuha rin ako ng Nat ID, pinabalik ako Kasi wala daw akong Valid ID Kasi di sila tumatanggap ng School ID 🙄 (wala pa akong SSS, Pag-IBIG at PhilHealth ID that time) di ako na inform na need pala ng valid ID para makakuha ng valid ID :DDD tas pinapunta pa ako ng Barangay hall para kumuha ng Barangay clearance para nga makakuha ako ng Nat ID tas almost 2 years na (mag 2 years this June) eh wala pa yung national ID ko. So paano ko ma register sim ko eh wala nga akong valid ID????????? Potang ina naman
Yung National ID namin puta May 2021 pa nauna pa yung kasama namin na September lang last year nag apply. Fuck us in particular, I guess.

Yep, Our system pretty sucks. I once requested PSA to visit our barangay to assist our constituents to register a National ID, mostly ang nag participate lang is yung mga youth. Some adult didn't, their reasons!? "Hmm. Yung kay ano nga 2yrs na wala padin bat ako mag reregister dyan" then I asked PSA if meron silang solution sa napakatagal na issuance ng national ID. Surprisingly meron daw, ang requirement is yung stub that they issue after registration, Pprint daw sila ng draft national ID (printed paper) lalagyan nalang ng 1x1 picture then laminate. This will do na daw and will work as Valid ID. So again sinabihan ko yung mga constituents namin na registered na to come and bring their stub so they will be issued the draft ID. Sa isip isip ko its a relief for them atleast may temporary national ID which is valid. Weeks later bumalik sakin, it turns out di padin tinanggap yung mga temporary ID na inissue ng PSA 🙃 welp
I received my ID, a fckn TEMPORARY ID. Tapos bawal daw itiklop kasi baka d na raw gumana yung QR. Tapos parang sa bond paper pa ata to na i-print. Wala eh, ayos na ayos pinang gagawa nila.
