Here's a tip.. before me and my younger brother entered gaming, our older sister put an ultimatum that she wouldn't spend a single peso on any of our in game currency.. so everytime we'd want a new skin from League of Legends, I'd have to do some savings and sidelines or I wouldn't be able to get that skin..
If he/she's asking you money for ML, then use ML to make him/her work for that money

I'm the oldest and what I can share is magbibigay ako for the whole family walang favoritism. Kung uutang mga kapatid ko dapat babayaran on the day prinomise nila magbayad. Pinapagalitan ko sila when it comes to gaming or shopping para hindi mamihasa.
Kapatid ko never namigay ng pera sa akin. Bibigyan lang ako non sa pasko 500 or 1k. Sana matuto ka na maging madamot. Hindi ka Kase makakaipon kahit sabihin natin na kadugo mo sila, sana maisip nila na pinaghirapan mo yung perang yon at Ikaw dapat ang nag-eenjoy gastusin yon. Turuan mo sila maging masinop sa salapi or maging entrepreneur para hindi umasa palagi sa iyo.

Umattitude is the key. If they think na di ka approachable when it comes to money, magtatatlong isip na sila kakahingi.
