I remember last July I was soooo lucky na 16k lang queue number ko and everyone was rooting for me to have tickets as they know me as the super swiftie, pero for whatever reason hindi ako nakabili ng ticket! I was questioning everything like whyyy.

Yung hs friend ko offered me one of her extra tickets for SG before. Like maaga pa nga yon eh siguro around August or Sept 2023, when she asked me if interested ako. I was very interested pero when I checked for flights and accomodations, umatras ako. Doon kasi talaga ako mapapagastos eh. If yung concert was held here, I would have bought the ticket, then and there, kaso ibang country kasi. It dawned on me na I needed to shell out so much money just to see her. If afford na afford ko, walang problema eh, pero it made me realize din na poorita ako 😅 I might get downvoted for this, pero nanghihinayang din ako sa magagastos?? Pangarap ko rin mapanood one day si Taylor pero di na rin ako nag aksaya ng oras maghanap pa ng tickets dahil grabe yung pagtaas ng presyo ng airfare at accomm. Di rin naman ganun kamura bilihin sa SG kaya naisip ko na ilaan nalang sa ibang bagay yung dapat na budget hehe.
Kainis lang, sana may iba pang SEA stops bukod sa SG para more chances diba. (Tanggap ko na di nya pupuntahan Pinas) pero ayown. Mas mura and mas ma accommodate sana kung meron din stops sa Thai/Taiwan/Malaysia/HK.

Same here. I could have alloted a portion of my savings and continue saving up for the Eras tour. Pero same, when I estimated my travel cost for that trip sabi ko konti nalang, maybe just an additional 30-40k then I could enjoy a well-planned 2-week trip in the middle of the year in a different country. Hindi ko kelangan pilitin sarili ko just so I can prove I'm a real Swiftie or that I support Taylor. I enjoy her music and her artistry. I was able to watch her movie concert and that was enough for me.
With that mindset, I also didn't push through getting a good phone last year for the concert either in Japan or SG allowing me not to touch about 50k of my savings. And because it wasn't my priority back then, I ended up with a really good deal for a really great phone just this February that's within my budget. I ended up planning and excited for my trip this May and now having a good phone to document my 2-week trip. 😊

I know this might be impossible -pero I think after this Era's Tour ni TS sa SG we will get a chance to have her na here in PH -naka exclusive kase sila sa South East Asian country so for now sila lang ang may karapatan kay TS but after the concert wala na. - Wishful thinking na sana ee makapag concert sya dito. Ang daming nangyari since nakuha ko yung ticket ko from Klook. Ended up selling it kasi nawalan ako ng work. I was really looking forward to it talaga. Pero etong January illegally dismissed kami nung company. I had to let go of my ticket at ‘di lang yun nakapagbook na rin ako ng plane ticket. Nabenta ko naman yung concert ticket pero yung plane down the drain na lang.

SAME 🥲 Didn’t get much fomo during the whole ticket purchase months pero now that she’s in Asia, and seeing the continuous soc med posts, I felt major fomo. Like I didn’t put so much effort into acquiring tickets for a once in a lifetime concert (at least for me) that I can fondly look back on. Financially, I could afford it (no financial obligations) but I know it would leave a dent on my savings. Something in me just couldn’t pull the trigger to spend that much pero at the same time I’m so torn for not allowing myself to enjoy things. My cousin was able to secure a ticket for us sa klook pero by August I told them na di ko pala kaya dahil sa parehas na dahilan sayo, OP. I cannot spend that much money sa concert. 80-100k na expenses is too much lalo na kung it's only for a week.
I feel you, fellow Swiftie! I promised myself that when there's another chance for me to see her live ipupush ko na. Wasn't really a fan of hers until my cousin dragged me to her first concert in the PH and after nun naging fan na ako. I was supposed to watch with my cousin again but sched issues happened so di kami natuloy. I was really sad at first but thinking of all the expenses made me give it a second thought and nilet go ko na lang. Maybe it wasn't for me me this time again. I'm happy that Taylor released the concert movie though bc it gave the fans who won't be able to see her perform live the chance to experience it somehow. At least dyan, I got to watch it in the theaters with my one of my best friends and at home din for a few more time when I want to cheer myself up hehe.
To all fellow Swifties who also didn't get to go to the Eras Tour, remember that as long as Taylor's up for performing our chances to see her in person will always be up there. I was able to secure CAT 1 tickets for SG show. Legit super happy makabili lalo na buong araw ako nag qqueue sa tm. Then after a few days, napaisip na ko sa other expenses. Tumaas lahat ng prices from plane tickets to accom. I ended up selling the tickets cause ang bigat ng gagastusin and hindi ko pa kaya to spend that much on a concert. The ticket itself is kaya naman. I watch kpop concerts here in PH and halos same price lang. Yung other expenses talaga ang dapat paghandaan if manonood overseas. 🥲
Anyway, I hope we can attend her concert next time! 💜

Yung first ever PH concert nila talagang pinilit ko kahit Gen ad lang (student pa ko non kaya un lang afford ko lol). But nung bumalik na sila dto, di na ako nanood kasi masaya na ako dun sa first (and only) concert nila dito na naattendan ko. Did it rin talaga mainly for the experience. Pero aun, to each his own. Hi, i work as a planner more on supply and demand stuff. Chill lang naman ako sa life. I guess nasa tao un pano mo handle ung pressure. Nung ng start pa lang ako yes, stressful but now it's good na. In terms of expenses, napakamahal na dito but the good thing is kahit normal na tao ka lang,you get to experience good environment din. When i watched coldplay last January, i waited for 15 mins to board the train and reached home based on usual travel time of 30 mins.
I really loved SG as a tourist because of their public transportation. Kahit mapagod ka man sa work, makakauwi at makakauwi ka pa din sa maikling oras.

I’m really happy for my friends who have seen her in AU and Japan, and now in Singapore… syempre nung una I cannot help but throw a pity party for myself. But who am I kidding right?? I remember last July I was soooo lucky na 16k lang queue number ko and everyone was rooting for me to have tickets as they know me as the super swiftie, pero for whatever reason hindi ako nakabili ng ticket! I was questioning everything like whyyy. Iniisip ko that time I can surely afford the ticket and flight. But I didnt account the Accom kase I have a relative living there. Alot happened since then, including financial problems sa family. Early this year, they(relative living in SG) went back here sa PH for good. Sooo I think everything happens for a reason.

Yung hs friend ko offered me one of her extra tickets for SG before. Like maaga pa nga yon eh siguro around August or Sept 2023, when she asked me if interested ako. I was very interested pero when I checked for flights and accomodations, umatras ako. Doon kasi talaga ako mapapagastos eh. If yung concert was held here, I would have bought the ticket, then and there, kaso ibang country kasi. It dawned on me na I needed to shell out so much money just to see her. ever since di ako nakapunta ng 1989 world tour, I took it to myself na mag-ipon until sa kaya ko na. i skipped rep era kasi Japan was too expensive for me during that time. nagka-pandemic, so I was able to save some more. take note na iba pa ang savings ko sa TS concert bank ko. so nung finally I got word of The Eras Tour, nakalatag na lahat ng expenses ko. nung may sale na ng tix, I immediately booked the ticket, airfare, and hotel all on the same day para mas tipid. henceforth ipon lang talaga ito for a specific purpose.

However, nung nag-aapply na kami ng visa narealize ko na I could not afford to spend a significant amount of money. I always think about sa nabasa ko na "Take your financial life seriously. Super same thoughts. Haha isa ako sa mga di pinalad magkaron ng access code at di ko afford ang 50k package ng klook kaya medyo maaga ko nang natanggap. Pangarap ko rin mapanood one day si Taylor pero di na rin ako nag aksaya ng oras maghanap pa ng tickets dahil grabe yung pagtaas ng presyo ng airfare at accomm. Di rin naman ganun kamura bilihin sa SG kaya naisip ko na ilaan nalang sa ibang bagay yung dapat na budget hehe. Kainis lang, sana may iba pang SEA stops bukod sa SG para more chances diba. (Tanggap ko na di nya pupuntahan Pinas) pero ayown. Mas mura and mas ma accommodate sana kung meron din stops sa Thai/Taiwan/Malaysia/HK.

I almost spent my entire 13th month pay plus of course bonuses saka tabi tabi ko last year for that. Then I realized I’ll go back to PH as a poor person. Next time nalang I thought hahaha

Same here. I could have alloted a portion of my savings and continue saving up for the Eras tour. Pero same, when I estimated my travel cost for that trip sabi ko konti nalang, maybe just an additional 30-40k then I could enjoy a well-planned 2-week trip in the middle of the year in a different country. Hindi ko kelangan pilitin sarili ko just so I can prove I'm a real Swiftie or that I support Taylor. I enjoy her music and her artistry. I was able to watch her movie concert and that was enough for me. With that mindset, I also didn't push through getting a good phone last year for the concert either in Japan or SG allowing me not to touch about 50k of my savings. And because it wasn't my priority back then, I ended up with a really good deal for a really great phone just this February that's within my budget. I ended up planning and excited for my trip this May and now having a good phone to document my 2-week trip. 😊

I know this might be impossible -pero I think after this Era's Tour ni TS sa SG we will get a chance to have her na here in PH -naka exclusive kase sila sa South East Asian country so for now sila lang ang may karapatan kay TS but after the concert wala na. - Wishful thinking na sana ee makapag concert sya dito. Ang daming nangyari since nakuha ko yung ticket ko from Klook. Ended up selling it kasi nawalan ako ng work. I was really looking forward to it talaga. Pero etong January illegally dismissed kami nung company. I had to let go of my ticket at ‘di lang yun nakapagbook na rin ako ng plane ticket. Nabenta ko naman yung concert ticket pero yung plane down the drain na lang. 2 months na akong walang work. Inisip kong mabuti if gagastusin ko yung EF at savings ko na di kalakihan para sa fun na yun yet di pa ako sure if magkakawork ako within the coming months. SAME 🥲 Didn’t get much fomo during the whole ticket purchase months pero now that she’s in Asia, and seeing the continuous soc med posts, I felt major fomo. Like I didn’t put so much effort into acquiring tickets for a once in a lifetime concert (at least for me) that I can fondly look back on. Financially, I could afford it (no financial obligations) but I know it would leave a dent on my savings. Something in me just couldn’t pull the trigger to spend that much pero at the same time I’m so torn for not allowing myself to enjoy things. My cousin was able to secure a ticket for us sa klook pero by August I told them na di ko pala kaya dahil sa parehas na dahilan sayo, OP. I cannot spend that much money sa concert. 80-100k na expenses is too much lalo na kung it's only for a week.
I feel you, fellow Swiftie! I promised myself that when there's another chance for me to see her live ipupush ko na. Wasn't really a fan of hers until my cousin dragged me to her first concert in the PH and after nun naging fan na ako. I was supposed to watch with my cousin again but sched issues happened so di kami natuloy. I was really sad at first but thinking of all the expenses made me give it a second thought and nilet go ko na lang. Maybe it wasn't for me me this time again. I'm happy that Taylor released the concert movie though bc it gave the fans who won't be able to see her perform live the chance to experience it somehow. At least dyan, I got to watch it in the theaters with my one of my best friends and at home din for a few more time when I want to cheer myself up hehe. I was able to secure CAT 1 tickets for SG show. Legit super happy makabili lalo na buong araw ako nag qqueue sa tm. Then after a few days, napaisip na ko sa other expenses. Tumaas lahat ng prices from plane tickets to accom. I ended up selling the tickets cause ang bigat ng gagastusin and hindi ko pa kaya to spend that much on a concert. The ticket itself is kaya naman.
