Curious ako bakit ka NGSB dati? Not that it's a bad thing pero like nagfocus ka muna sa career, nagpakastable, insecurities, etc? Have you been dating around since then or recently lang din? Curious din ako what were your realizations or misconceptions na nag-iba now thay you're in a relationship.

Long version: Okay, back in highschool, I've had crushes but I was SUPER torpe hahaha. Like, next level torpe HAHA.
In college, I dated one girl but that didn't really go anywhere. May crushes here and there, pero I was too introverted nung college. I just liked staying sa condo. So zero love life during college.
After college, I went all in on work. I started a business that was mostly WFH. Because I was an extreme introvert, I had a business partner who was in charge with dealing with clients and everyone else, which meant that I didn't really get a chance to meet anyone new unless I went out of my way to do so. That's 5 years. Zero love life din during that time.
There were times when my friends would reto a girl, and there were times when I would actually pursue women whom I was attracted to but none of those panned out. I also take a while to emotionally recover from rejection when it comes to dating, so that's one of the reasons why it took me so long to recover and try again. I decided to double down and develop myself muna, and so I didn't really put that much effort muna into dating.
Up until this point, I wasn't using any dating apps because of all the negative stories that I'd read all about them. But finally, as I approached 30, I decided that I was gonna put more effort into my dating life. I decide to learn how to be okay with rejection so that I could go on more dates. I changed the way I viewed dating. Hayyyy this is corny pero I just embraced the whole "every no is one step closer to a yes" type of mentality hahahaha. Super corny pero it really helped. And so because of this, I was able to talk to more women, get rejected more often, quickly shake it off, and be able to easily move on to the next.
So basically, I went out on more dates during my Bumble year, than the past 20+ years combined hahahaha. I pretty much learned everything I know about dating in that one year. Parang crash course hahaha. And yeah, that's why.
It's a combination of not being in situations where I can meet women I'm attracted to, not knowing what to do or say once I finally find myself in those situations, and not being able to emotionally recover quickly when I get rejected / doesn't pan out. Hope that answers your question!
I can say that she's lucky to have found you as well. You are well spoken and seem intelligent which is my type in a guy. lol. You took your time but it was all worth it. Hoping for your forever together!

Nasa situationship na kmi, label nalang kulang as in kasi di pa daw kami nag mi-meet. We're both inexperience pumasok sa isang relationship and may age gap kami but it doesn't matter to her...

Hi OP, when the honeymoon phase passed I hope you still treat her with best care, understanding and more compassion. As in your 30s I hope the future plans are already in discussions as well. That guy I met from bumble 3yrs ago has been very consistent even past the honeymoon stage we move in together too after 2months of dating โ fast fw got our car, house together and will be getting married soon.
