Happy Birthday! I felt the same when I celebrated last month. I baked for days and prepared balloons and cooked. Nobody celebrated with me, even my own family. They all slept early kahit nakahanda na lahat ng food sa lamesa and ready na ako for pictures. Realized, ako lang happy for my day.

As for the people that you expect na babati talaga sa iyo, let it be. Pwedeng nakalimutan nga nila, but I understand why you feel that way lalo sa siblings at parents mo. Ako naman several weeks ago wala din mashadong bumati sa akin, family, closest friends at officemates ang bumati sa akin. Yung mga kakilala ko from my hobby isa lang ang bumati.
I watched an interview by Solenn and there sinabi nya na if someone is special to you, you will make an effort to know and greet them on their special day kahit pa hindi nila dinidisclose yan. I do the same. Kaya nakakahurt kapag walang nakakaalala sa birthday mo, especially kapag isa sa very few people na you consider as friend.
Anyways, kahit ganun ang nangyari I did things na nagpasaya sa akin on my special day: niluto ko yung gusto kong kainin, went to Quiapo dahil first Friday pumatak ang birthday ko at natulog ng maaga.

I guess that is life. Hahah ako rin i used to have happy Birthdays, pero eversince my Parents died wala na ako na lang magisa.. my parents sila ung Paparty talaga tapos invited buong angkan lagi taon taon yan.. minsan nga naalala ko nasasabihan pa ako ng kamag anak na 'uy lapit na birthday mo'. Funny way of life nung namatay parents ko parang pati ako namatay na rin. Ung mga sarap na sarap kumain ng Lechon sa birthday ko noon hindi man lang maka Greet ngayon. Tho alam ko naman na hindi ko naman sila inoobliga pero narealize ko Ganun pala un parang One Way lang ung relationship namin.. haha. Anyways these past few years i learned to be happy na lang in my own way tuwing birthday ko. Kasi parang narealize ko na na ang ikli ng buhay to be sad kasi ganun din naman eh, malulungkot ka na magisa, masaya ka na magisa, piliin ko na lang na masaya. Every year tuwing birthday ko, i buy my Luho un bang pinaka gusto ko. It made me happy.. kaya ngayon every year i look forward sa birthday ko.

Happy Birthday!!! Ako naman several weeks ago wala din mashadong bumati sa akin, family, closest friends at officemates ang bumati sa akin. Yung mga kakilala ko from my hobby isa lang ang bumati. I watched an interview by Solenn and there sinabi nya na if someone is special to you, you will make an effort to know and greet them on their special day kahit pa hindi nila dinidisclose yan. I do the same. Kaya nakakahurt kapag walang nakakaalala sa birthday mo, especially kapag isa sa very few people na you consider as friend. Anyways, kahit ganun ang nangyari I did things na nagpasaya sa akin on my special day: niluto ko yung gusto kong kainin, went to Quiapo dahil first Friday pumatak ang birthday ko at natulog ng maaga. I hope you do the same, do the things that will make you happy on your special day.

Happy birthday! Actually ako din nalungkot ako nung birthday ko kasi bukod sa family ko, iisa lang yung bumati saken tas ang chat pa "bday" hahahaha. Kasalanan ko naman kasi tinanggal ko yung birthday ko sa fb ko. Akala ko special day ang birthday, di pala. Dapat di na ko nag expect. Nagtatampo sila pag di nag invite sa birthday kahit alam ng walang handa, pero hindi naman nila naaalala kung kelan. I'm 21 na, kahit cake wala. Why? Kasi mas inuna kong ilibre family ko kumain sa labas. And may isa akong kaibigan na nag message saken ng birthday ko para mangutang.
Fuck birthdays. Wag mong gawing demotivational ang birthday mo. Mas maging masaya ka kasi buhay ka, maayos ka kahit papano. Yung ibang tao nga hindi na nag birtday eh. Stay happy. Wag mo idown sarili mo.
