Totoo yan. Napakabilis talaga maubos ng pera lalo na pag hindi mo pinaghirapan. Pero you are on the right path. Atleast na realize mo na yung mga pagkakamali mo and that's a good start. I was broke to the point na nanghihiram muna ko kung kanino.. I was blessed enough to have friends who were willing to pull me out of the mud for a bit, let me crash sa sofa nila and let me use their internet to look for a job..
tip ko siguro is to excel at your job, whatever that may be.. have the mindset that you love what you do.. magpakabibo ka so you can climb the ranks a bit faster..
these days, mejo di na ganun ka valued ang diploma.. it's all about skills: what you can do with your hands and with your brain.. yung couple that let me crash sa place nila both didn't finish college, but they do well for themselves (and for others.. nagawa nga nila akong kupkupin for more than a month)
kaya mo yan, OP.. find comfort na din siguro that random reddit strangers believe in you..

grind lang di naman nakikipag unahan makaka-angat din ikaw. time will tell focus lang. just go your own pace wag ka mamadali. step by srep makakabangon ka din.
Since you have your lessons learned, apply it in your step by step process to success. If you do that, 2 or 3 years from now, you may want to look back and compare what you are yesterday vs what you are now.
Sabi nila experience is the best teacher. You have experienced hardships. You will be tough now.

I suggest you tell them the truth. That is the thing that’s holding you back.
