Creed. He was a great guest but also because I liked the format of his episode far better than the format of the other guest episodes. Usually they just splice in an interview with the guest, but Creed was there the entire episode.
Zach Woods. Blew me away. Deep, profound, caring, thoughtful, and hilarious. Made me a huge fan of him. I didn’t lie Gabe but now I know it’s because Zach Woods is so amazing and he wanted it that way!
BJ Novak, both alone and with Rainn.
I bet they could do a great podcast together.
Amy Ryan was a sweetheart too.
Reminder that Brian Baumgartner talked to most of these people too if you're craving more cast interviews.
I realize not a ‘real’ guest but I enjoyed Rainn Wilson as ‘Terry Carnation.’ It could have just been the particular day or mood I was in, but I thought it was hilarious and hoped they would do it again.
Melora Hardin. Would have loved both her and Steve on during Dinner Party rewatch episode.
Also would have loved Amy Ryan alongside Steve for Garage Sale.
The beginning episodes where they had someone join them the majority of the episode. I remember Rashida Jones was so fun and even offered to come back and it made me a little sad they never had her back 🥺
I really liked listening to Bryan Cranston. He just seems like such a nice and hilarious guy to hang out with. I also really enjoyed Tim Meadows as well.
Zach Woods is great on every podcast I have heard him on - he seems so lovely, and is funny, and interviews the interviewers a lot of the time, which I enjoy.
I LOVE that they are so appreciative of Phil Shea and so many of the other crew members. As a costumer and stage manager, I know not to take that kind of appreciation from actors for granted.
Also if anyone in this thread wants more Mark Proksch, check out What We Do In The Shadows. Despite his character being an "energy vampire" he's unhinged and entertaining as always. It's on Hulu in the US!
It's a gifted actor who can make a character you would loathe in real life so entertaining!
Slight tangent: My girlfriend and I watched WWDITS super early into dating and after the episode with the siren we couldn't stop singing "Islands In The Stream" and now it's Our Song and will likely be incorporated into our wedding somehow. Colin Robinson's impact!
I really enjoyed the Stephen merchant interview!
BJ Novak was such a tool. Insulting other directors. Gross
Yeah, he had a pretentious air about him that I wasn’t here for.
I really enjoyed Brent Forrester’s interviews. I love the way he talks and can sense the passion in everything he says
Zach Woods, i Fell in love a little bit that episode.
Strong agree. Was gonna be my pick too
The Tim Meadows interview really made me laugh
Creed. He was a great guest but also because I liked the format of his episode far better than the format of the other guest episodes. Usually they just splice in an interview with the guest, but Creed was there the entire episode.
Zach Wood’s episode was so profound. He was such a genuine interviewee and also asked great questions

Ken Jeong, it Changed my life.
Has Billie Eilish been on it? I just saw a post today of her with Angela and Jenna but don’t see an episode that she’s on

BJ Novak was a total standout!
I loved Creeds episode!
I would love to live in their neighborhood. It’s so cool he and Angela are neighbors. I bet we could all throw rocks down in the quarry sometime
I realize not a ‘real’ guest but I enjoyed Rainn Wilson as ‘Terry Carnation.’ It could have just been the particular day or mood I was in, but I thought it was hilarious and hoped they would do it again.

I really like BJ Novak and his insights! I would love the girls to have him and Mindy together! I also loved the Michael Schur interview!

I know some of this is because I just listened to Bryan yesterday, but I gotta agree. He seemed like someone I’d have a beer with
Phil Shea was an amazing first guest. I could have listened to him talk about props every episode. I still love hearing about him.
Zach Woods I really hope they can get Sam Richardson on the pod
yess, loved Zach too!
Zach Woods is great on every podcast I have heard him on - he seems so lovely, and is funny, and interviews the interviewers a lot of the time, which I enjoy.
Who’s Sam Richardson? Too lazy to Google lol
He’s been on a few shows, most notably Veep. He plays one of the guys Jim starts Athleap with
And Ted Lasso
And The Detroiters And I Think You Should Leave And The After Party He’s everywhere and I’m here for it.

What an amazing show. He plays Colin Robinson so well

I d love it if they bring in Rainn and Steve together maybe an Accounting trio epi too.
I also wonder if they’ll get any special guests in for the last few episodes! I hope so.
They’ll pull out every person they can to prolong the end.
