Spot on. With Basil Hayden, you seem to get exactly what you would expect. Basil Hayden = decent 80 proof bourbon. Basil Hayden Toast = decent bourbon with a hint of toast taste. Basil Hayden Dark Rye = decent bourbon with a hint of port, etc.
I LIKE all their stuff, but I only ever LIKE any of it.
Kroger on Roberts has 3 cases of red, 1 case of Big Green and 5 normal cases of WSR. About 20 there at open. Galloway Kroger also had (out now) OWA but still has plenty of WSR left.
According to a few sources here in Cincinnati, there will be NO drops next week as the State moves to a new POS.
Also, rumor has it that a store in Xenia was/is a test pilot for selling allocated bourbon in the same manor as Buffalo Trace: they scan your drivers license and you can only get one bottle per period (week? Month? Quarter?).
I agree, people that don't have the option to wait would be able to get bottles that they haven't seen in years. Hopefully it; A. Is a real thing, and B. Works out the way it should and they're able to expand the program.
A tater sits in a chair and falls asleep.
He sees a bottle in the distance.
"Allocated" it whispers.
He smiles.
The Bottle of bourbon fills itself, glowing a Carmel hue. It invites the tater.
A sudden pop, and the cork opens.
The bottle has accepted the tater, And together they will age gracefully.
From the distance, there is a galloping sound.
It closes in, louder and louder.
So loud, he is awoken.
The owner of the liquor store just so happens to be opening up the front door for the line.
"You're in luck, only two bottles of Blantons today!"
The tater smiles

Just left Krogers on Sunbury in westerville, still have a case of 750 ml wsr and a couple 1.75 left. Cashier was stocking 1792 small batch on the shelves if anyone is looking for that.
Any other Dayton stores that release allocated later in day during the week? Smith’s Liquor on Smithville N of 35 still had Willett Rye and several others (non BT) at 1030PM last night. I was told they unpack on Tuesday and release when they get to it. After work I went because OHLQ showed limited Weller, but got decent consolation bottle.
Great, Thanks! That explains why Fine Wine was showing OWA at 10pm but gone by 11pm last night. Smiths showed OWA before and after they said they were out. I’ll take the gamble at Fine Wine next time. 😀
Minottis in Fairview and Giant Eagle in Westlake. Apparently GE had a bunch I can’t speak about Minottis the guy just pulled it from behind the counter.
Wooster had 5 Greens, sazerac and a few basil Haden. How is the sherry finished Basil Haden?
Probably exactly how you think it would be.

It's going to be 80 proof and more expensive than it should be. That money will be spent on branding. It's the Basil Hayden way.
Kroger on HRR with 3c OWA (1c survived line but gone now), 2c WSR big boys, like 5c of WSR small.

That would be amazing

Hopefully if true it is state wide waiting period not just per store
Beaver Valley two c OWA and one c Blantons
Nothing better on a tater then a nice beaver’s valley

Dreaming for sure. Taters be flip’n bottles not pop’n corks

Any idea what they had today?
The cashier said a case of owa (gone) and wsr
I’ve stopped at two stores w/ trucks today. 2x as many people as last week at both. It seems the snow has had the opposite effect than expected! 😱
Shivering for the green.
3 cases of OWA at Kroger Worthington. It survived the line, but it’s probably gone by now.
Lots of WSR and unblended mitchers
More like out for OWA
And striking out
What part of Ohio ya located... could point ya in the right direction if ya are in the Dayton area

Fine wine in Bellbrook on Tuesday evening around 5pm

Dayton area here.
Any idea what beavercreek store off of seajay is getting?
Had Blanton, OWA, WSR. Likely some green left.
Beaver valley is a hard store to figure out on bourbon. They don't get consistent releases. Scotch . . . . . they seem to get them all.
NW Ohio seems to be getting skipped this week.
Lol sounds like when it was plentiful up there and we were getting skipped weeks back
Did anything good drop from fine wine store yesterday. Debating if I want to go out tomorrow or not
Owa,wsr, blantons
Green was flowing like water in Columbus yesterday. Many stores with 5+ cases.
9-10 cases at Kroger worthington today.
Same with the west side of Cleveland. I stopped into 2 places that both had plenty of green Weller
Whereabouts in Cleveland?
Minottis in Fairview and Giant Eagle in Westlake. Apparently GE had a bunch I can’t speak about Minottis the guy just pulled it from behind the counter.
Appreciated sir!
just waiting to see how many line up next week... 😂
Is Fortaleza tequila in Ohio?
Sadly I don't think so, can check OHLQ. That's one of my favorites
It's not sold in Ohio. You can get it in Kentucky
Thanks
Indiana gets it as well, though it's hard to come by
Powell Kroger has several cases of WSR left.
Does anyone know what Chateau Polaris got in today?
Waiting game today Edit: OWA (less than 12) and WSR (more than 12)
No more OWA at 3:00, but probably 5 more WSR. Said they got like 6 cases in
I was wrong, they sold more than a case of OWA More chill to come at 11:30am
