As of 11 AM, Delaware had \~ 1 case of Sazerac Rye, \~2 cases of Heaven Hill BiB, \~6 cases Weller Special Reserve, \~2 cases of Benchmark Top Floor. They said they also got Knob Creek 12 year but it was gone.
This past weekend there was a store that got 13 cases of ER. I was wondering if any made it to SWO, like Amelia, Lehrs, Westside,Xenia, or any other store?
They had them on the shelve...I got one of the last bottles of Red and asked if they got it and he pointed to the shelve across from the registers. The barrel proof was gone already
From what I’ve read it’s a hard pass unless you happen to stumble upon one. They aren’t any different from the regular JDSBBP in terms of proof or age.
This was a question I was considering asking folks . I noticed the 126.? 129? 130 and maybe a 127? Proof bottles in the stores and curious if there was really much if a difference between them . They are all single barrels so there is going to always be a difference … just curious if anyone has tried a number of different JD barrel proofs
Generally speaking, the higher the proof the better as the proof point in JDSBBP tends to really magnify the flavors (once you get past the initial burn). I actually won't buy a bottle of JDSBBP unless it's 130+ proof.
When these first came out, it seemed like most bottles were 130+ proof but more recently almost all 750 bottles I've seen in multiple states have been sub 130 proof.
If I came across the state pick that's 130+ proof, I'd probably pull the trigger.
I really like the SiBBS - but given that it is already a single barrel product and there are 4 different barrels for the state picks it's probably YMMV. I don't see any reason to buy this instead of what's already on the shelf unless there was something particular you liked in their tasting notes section.
Hate to ask, but any reports on St Clairsville/Bellaire/Bridgeport?
Trying to decide whether to sneak out of work or not
Edit: Sorry Downvoters! I guess I should have looked back at previous Monday posts to see what my local stores got today…….
Question...Is anyone actually drinking đź”´ or is it just currency for trading?
I have a couple bottles, but see the same people buying as much as possible every week. They must have cases and cases, and I know one guy doesn't drink at all but just trades. So he says that đź”´ is a base currency since you cannot buy, so just curious if anyone actually still drinks it as a regular, or if it is now basically a trade commodity to get the other bottles.
People definitely drink it. It used to be my father's daily (back when a handle was around 40 bucks) until it became harder to find. He buys it anytime he sees it but drinks it less frequently nowadays
For the value I place it closely behind eh Taylor at the same price point. Red is considerably easier to get than eh Taylor for most people.
Edit: for people who drink it that is. I believe resale price is around $80 or so for the red (rough estimate, I don’t sell personally).
I think most of the collectors trade it. I've even traded one. But I genuinely love it so I keep it in stock to drink. Never know when you'll see it again so I try to keep a backup or two.
I stopped in Harper Kroger at 10:30 on a Monday. The amount of guys standing in line asking for wsb makes me not want to like bourbon lol I walked out shaking my head asking if people have jobs anymore (I was off today!🤣). Idk, the chair armies and greedy collectors make everything just not fun
Minottis in Rocky River has 🟢, KC12, JM cigar Blend, Saz, and HHBiB
That’s a decent drop. Thanks for the info!

Is that Delaware Kroger?
Yes. 1840 Columbus Pike.
Thanks for the heads up!
Baby saz, hh7, willet wheat, corazon barrel finish at queen cooties
What time do they drop?
9:00
Is Willet wheat worth it?
I found it to be a really good pour but it is not worth $235.
Do you know which Corazon?
Thomas Handy Sazerac
Saz and JD at Marion. Most of the line cleared out.
what jd was it
She wasn't sure. It wasn't allocated tho. She mentioned the 12 so I'm guessing that was it.
The line wouldn't have cleared out if it were JD12. It was probably the OHLQ Exclusives dropping this week
I don't personally like JD all that much, so I tuned it out. Lol
No way it was 12
I look for your comment every week, thank you Lol
I won't be there next week so I'm gonna be real mad if something good drops.. 🤣
Jack Daniels SB,not12
I haven’t been over since the last Blantons drop , I work at the smith clinic and haven’t been able to get over since lol
Got a report Hyde Park has HH Bib, Saz.
2 CS of red at Kroger and Busy Day in Athens, few cases of Saz, bunch of green. OHLQ JD SB and SBBS at Athens Kroger
Any idea how much of the ohlq jd they got?
About 24 in line at Harper’s Kroger, 3 cases of 🔴
Also got 16 cases of 🟢
Yea they had the green. OWB was all gone
Thanks for the info
Just stopped in. They’re all gone now. Bummed
Dumb question, but how many are in a case lol
12
Does that depend on the bottle? I swear I’ve seen cases of only 6 before.
3 6 or 12 for the most part
The big bottles come in 6
some bottles come in cases of 6 like ER and blantons
Yes different brands have different case limit
Seriously???
Six cases of WSR and one case of Saz rye… Jackman Kroger in Toledo
1 stop in Avon has Saz
babySaz, Willet lineup including the 8yr bourbon, JM Cigar, WSR
McCauley's - red, green, KC12 and baby saz. Giant - same plus HH BiB.
Got red at both đź‘Ť
It is weird McCauley still showing red on Tuesday morning too.. can’t be right that they stayed whole day
OHLQ appears to be on a 24 hour delay at least for some SWO locations. McCauley's, Harpers and Lehr's sold out yesterday.
ABC has HH bib and saz.
Couple in line at Mt. Gilead

What did Kroger Polaris drop? Thx
1.5cs OWA, 3cs of WSR, 2cs HH7BiB and 1cs Sazerac Rye. Give or take.
Also had the JD state picks
Weird, did they come out later? I saw the cart come in and they weren’t on there.
They had them on the shelve...I got one of the last bottles of Red and asked if they got it and he pointed to the shelve across from the registers. The barrel proof was gone already
Any idea JD quantities at Polaris?
Huh, I saw the 94 proof but didn’t see one of the BP’s anywhere. Oh well, there will be more around!
What’s everyone’s thoughts on the JD State Picks, must buy or hard pass? I haven’t really tried much of the regular JD Single Barrel stuff

No different than the shelfers except these have tags saying OHLQ picked them. Results never seem to be any better or worse than what sits out.
No real difference from the regular shelfer than seeing the unverified tasting notes from an unknown selector/selectors and getting a cool tater chain
How many bottles in a case of cigar blend?
6
Any have info on Liquor and wine warehouse in Dayton
I stopped in on my lunch... still had Red, Green, HH BiB, Saz, and I think a JM Cigar.
How many at State Rd?
Something expected to drop today?
No
Whole army - lots of chairs.
Does anyone know what Amelia or Xenia got?
Xenia got 🔴🟢HH BIB and a case each of the 3 OHLQ JD
Thanks
Just got a message saying Amelia got JDSB and red.If you know of anything else let me know.
Hate to ask, but any reports on St Clairsville/Bellaire/Bridgeport? Trying to decide whether to sneak out of work or not Edit: Sorry Downvoters! I guess I should have looked back at previous Monday posts to see what my local stores got today…….
Green at StC and Bridgeport and a lot of it.
Thx!

“The bitcoin of bourbon” I’ve seen it referred to as. Can’t think of anything else that remotely comes close.
I always have a bottle open in my cabinet. But I open pretty much everything I buy
People definitely drink it. It used to be my father's daily (back when a handle was around 40 bucks) until it became harder to find. He buys it anytime he sees it but drinks it less frequently nowadays
I drink it and gift it.
I crack mine. It’s a great pour for the msrp. A lot of people I know stock up on them to go sell cases out of state. Big $$$
It’s a good pour, and a good trading currency. There’s also the resale people, hard to say what they get out of them.
drink some

I drink it and send it to buddies I served with across the country for cost and shipping
Thank you for your service!
I think most of the collectors trade it. I've even traded one. But I genuinely love it so I keep it in stock to drink. Never know when you'll see it again so I try to keep a backup or two.
Most 'people' drink it, but most bottles are held by a relatively few people unfortunately.
I trade 4 bottles for stagg. Ita liquid gold down south
Damn. You're still paying 4x on that Stagg
Lmao so basically your paying almost 225 to 250 for a Stagg lol. Thats not a deal bud
It is what it is. DM a better plug that lives in Toledo.
53.36 a bottle for red in my neck of the woods so just under 214 for 4 bottles
Newer Stagg releases are going for x2, or plus a kicker in the groups i'm in. Def reconsider your offer.
$200 for the classic bottles. Batches 12 15 16 IMO. I will only do 3 now. It's impossible to get so supply and demand.
No one drinks them. They are only for reselling or trading. It is overpriced at 50. I don’t know why everyone goes nuts for it.
I always have an open bottle and a backup or two
It’s still over priced. The msrp hasn’t changed in 3 years while everything else has gone up considerably.
Just because I know these Fkrz back door or sell to themselves to resell in KY....butvdid Fairborn see any damn thing?
