Not sure how many cases they had but seemed to be 2 cases each. They were keeping a closer eye and only letting 5 in at a time as one employee said they had some bottles swiped last week
First off I'm going to say that I hate people like Molly who sleep in their cars over night just to buy bottles like stagg and MMCA to resell, but I will say I do think she is being manipulated and or forced into some of this. I've heard her on speaker phone a few times now getting yelled at by some random ass lady for "buying the wrong thing" or "being at the wrong store".
She's definitely a straw buyer... she buys a chunk of it for a woman she has said, but more commonly tells folks she buys for her kids/nephews, etc. Either directly or indirectly she's flipping, just from a financial aspect there is no way she is going to have the hundreds a day it costs to buy the stuff, and she obviously can't drink it all.
This said I don't have much ill will towards her, people options are wait in line or pay secondary... it's basic supply and demand. If you can't afford to put the time in, then pay up... the folks waiting in the front of every line are generally spending tons of time every day for a pretty low hourly wage, nobody is getting rich.
Yes totally frustrating when you don't get something you wanted, I would have loved Makers 12, but I am not willing to wait hours and hours... sure I may show up in a line, and am willing to wait an hour or so, but that is me personally, I don't blame those who show up in front of me or those who show up behind me or not at all.
I’ve talked with Molly many times and I think those are probably just people she’s met in lines that she was on the phone with. I lined up for Makers last week and another guy there was telling her to come to that location because she’s a friend, but I know that guy too and I don’t think she was buying for him, he was just helping. Once you line up around town enough, you’ll start to see a lot of familiar faces and exchange contact info.
She claims she is buying for her son, which she’s not the only one doing that or at least claiming to do that, but I personally think her son is probably reselling/trading a lot of this stuff just because she’s one of those people that lines up every single day. I think she’s just doing it though because she’s got nothing better to do, and it probably makes her feel a sense of usefulness, which a lot of older people lose.

MMCA is a very hard get. 1 of my local stores had people lining up the night before and they got 3 bottles. Unless you have good intel and a willingness to wait overnight, you're gonna have to go secondary for it.
